Myself and my partner really enjoyed the space we had some other lodges and the landscape and the wildlife was just excellent and we just enjoyed every minute of it!!
All though we loved everything, we were disappointed to know that the fireplace stated in the facilities section was a running fireplace so should people get a disclaimer in there! But everything again was excellent

How cosy it was
Not much really . The green area to the front of out hut is natural for wildlife which is lovely. If I had come with my son he wouldn’t have been able to play in front he would have had to go into other areas which might have distributed other peoples stay that’s the only negative

Loved every minute of the yurt, the surroundings, the hot tub, comfy beds, facilities and the walking in wonderful countryside.
We took too much luggage

The bed was very comfy and the views were gorgeous. Hot tub was easy to use.

The facilities were great, everything was clean - fly spray provided, shampoo, shower gel, cooking facilities - had a 6 month old with me and was easy to cope
It rained so the amount of cover was limited - which was unfortunate and as the BBQ was left out, it had collected water so we couldn't use it - suggest a lid to stop this happening

The Yurt was so cosy, and the little touches like the coffee etc in the basket and jug of fresh milk in the fridge. It was lovely. The hot tub was already heated and stayed warm for hours. The little outside kitchen was fully equipped, and we got to watch the thunderstorm outside sat at the kitchen bar. Honestly, I would recommend this place if you want a quiet and relaxing stay. Absolutely beautiful, thank you so much. It was a delight.
Nothing, even though we had thunderstorms, it still didn't spoil our night away

Words can't really express how wonderful this little piece of heaven is. Absolutely beautiful place to stay. The yurt is amazing, so cosy, comfortable and spacious and really nicely decorated. Lying in a rolltop bath with views of Pendle Hill, toasting Marshmallows, sitting in the hot tub gazing at the stars. The well equipped outdoor kitchen, loved cooking breakfast in this. So many lovely little touches like torches and binoculars and guide books and games Joanne went the extra mile and took the kids around the fields in her quad trailer, let us feed the Alpacas and meet the cows and their gorgeous calves. There is a great little shop on site as well We cant wait to go back to this amazing and safe space, I could go on forever it was so good.

Perfect perfect perfect.
Honestly where do I begin. We stayed in the lovely Bluebell shepherd's hut and she did not disappoint. The attention to detail set it apart from others. The surroundings are stunning and so incredibly peaceful.
What an absolute gem of a find. The wood fired hot tub was phenomenal and we even met the delightful Alpacas. 😊
The host and her daughter were so attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.
Would also recommend getting up early and watching the sunrise 🌅 as it was so beautiful to see snuggled under our blankets outside with the birds singing.
Memories banked for a very long time. Will absolutely most definitely be back. Thank you guys keep up rhe excellent work. 👏 xx
Going home !!!

From the moment we arrived Joanne was welcoming and helpful. The yurt was great, everything you need for a romantic relaxing weekend. The hot tub was definitely a highlight, the surroundings are perfect. We ordered afternoon tea and a BBQ pack , both high quality and worth every penny. Joanne and Andy are wonderful hosts , highly recommend.
All the best from Tina and Joe.

We stayed in the Bluebell hut for 3 nights and it was excellent. Joanne was so so lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful! The hut itself, along with the views were beautiful; we were so sad to be leaving but already can’t wait to go back!

Everything was just perfect. We arrived slightly early and the hut was ready for us. We went off for a walk and when we returned the hot tub was lit and ready. Wonderful owners making your trip very enjoyable. Chocolates and prosecco were also waiting for us on arrival with it being near valentines x

the shepherds hut was a quaint self contained hut and was private from the other huts. the owners had prepared the hot tub ready for use. Joanne also came and introduced herself and showed us how to warm it up. the heater in the main room kept the hut warm and cosy. there was tea/coffee/milk etc ready for use and a bottle of Prosecco and chocolate on arrival. would definitely recommend it

Was a lovely little spot. Very cosy and comfortable. We were able to order an afternoon Tea delivered to us and it was so nice. Had a good variety of rolls, treats and meats. They do have a vegetarian alternative.
The hot tub was perfect. It took a while to get it at the right temperature but this didn't bother us. We just enjoyed our afternoon tea with a glass of wine around the fire pit.
Lots of deer in the area too which we enjoyed watching through a pair of binoculars. Very quiet. Great for going off grid for abit. We had a free bottle of procesco and some homemade chocs too for valentines day which was even more of a bonus.

A wonderful, truely wonderful experience. Can't thank Joanne and Andy enough. The thought and dedication you have put in is exceptional. We had one of the most relaxing nights away we have ever had.
No issues. Glamping in not the best of weather and it was still a wonderful stay.

Our experience of Little Oakhurst was wonderful from beginning to end. Joanne was so helpful and friendly and went above and beyone what we expected. The farm is in a great spot close to some lovely pubs. We had a good meal at The Aspinall Arms and getting a taxi back (as it was dark by that point) was no bother at all.
The Shepherds Hut we stayed in (Bluebell) was in a lovely spot with wonderful views and was just as quaint and cozy as we thought it would be.
