The property was clean. Residence is located closely to the French Quarter and Frenchman Street. The bed was comfortable. Loved the decor and courtyard!
We were blessed to have water when we arrived, in the fridge.
Traveled with one of our dogs and she did very well. Grateful for a safe place to stay with her. Thank you!

Great place to stay in New Orleans. Cute, clean, good location, privacy. Private courtyard fenced so our dog could roam freely. Just a few minutes to Bourbon street and WWII museum (which was great). Good breakfast reasturant a couple blocks away. I will never stay in a hotel again, this was so much better.

The hosts were hella cool.. the cottage was nice, clean and quiet.. it rained most of the time we were there, but there were plenty of places to walk to in the neighborhood.. hang out spots, literally on every corner.. the people were so laid back and nice.. we just grabbed an umbrella and walked.. also, we had a rental car, parking was always available.. absolutely will and have recommended this place.

The property is as advertised. We were very happy with the proximity to all New Orleans has to offer. Frenchman Street is only a few blocks, which runs into the French Quarter. We were able to walk safely day or night. The Marigny neighborhood has lots of local culture. The fenced in courtyard was charming and perfect for our dog. The hosts gave us our privacy, but was there if we needed them. They also offered two bikes for use. We would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our time, the house was so cute and worked well for 2 people. We enjoyed the bikes and used them a lot even though it was very hot and humid. We loved the neighborhood and the local vibes. Favorite place for breakfast is Who Dat Coffee Cafe, a few blocks away. We felt very safe in the area and walked to Bourbon street, which is about 20 minutes away. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a true vibe of the city. Enjoy!

Just right!
We wanted to experience NOLA and this is just the right spot to do that. We walked to Marginy area the first night but the next day we took Ubers to avoid the heat. We really enjoyed the New Orleans School of Cooking class - that is a must do!!
Our dog was super comfy at the cottage. We had coffee in the mornings in the courtyard while our dog enjoyed roaming around in the fenced in yard. Get breakfast just around the corner at Flora Gallery and Coffee Shop - delicious!!!!

Cute little cottage a mile from the action
We really enjoyed our stay here. The owner was very friendly. The cottage exactly what we needed. The bed was comfortable, had cable tv, and good air conditioning. If I had 1 critique to give, we had our dogs with us and the main house is lifted so my dogs kept trying to crawl under it. There are 2 cats on the property, but they are friendly and they stay up front. If we ever find ourselves in New Orleans again, we would definitely consider staying here again.

Great spot to check out NOLA
The property is in a great location easily walkable to frenchmen and French quarter. I had a bad knee and still managed but also lift was fast and reasonable. They have a store across the street and great backyard setting. Very quite. We will return

Great Bywater cottage
This cottage was perfect for our week-long stay in New Orleans. Bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked fine, location is in a quiet side street. We walked a lot, especially to hear music on Frenchman Street. Used the bikes, too. Corner cafe, Small Mart, has bagels and good coffee (separate counter). Brendan was helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Best place to stay in New Orleans
Brendan and Valerie are the best hosts ever. I now book before I leave for the next year. The cottage is the cutest most comfortable place in New Orleans. It’s quiet and the courtyard is beautiful and makes me feel like I’m at home. I love coming back and petting the cats late at night and sleeping late in the softest bed ever. They are so laid back and easy to communicate with. The neighborhood is divine, easy access to all my spots around town. There’s always street parking.. I will never stay anywhere else.

Nice place
Very cute little bungalow in a good location. Plenty of dining and drinking opportunities and close cycle to Frenchman’s, the quarter and we cycled to jazz fest. Good time for all of us. Dog friendly with nice grass area fir our dog and picnic table for having breakfast.

The cottage was cute and we enjoyed staying there. The bed and furniture was comfortable and the space was clean. The yard was private and we enjoyed using it for ourselves. It was fenced in and was great for our dog. The neighborhood was quite interesting. It is trendy. It was different and quite unique. There was a very old grocery store across the road at the corner. Everything reminds your of long ago. There are quite a few decent restaurants right in the neighborhood. The neighborhood was friendly. It was it’s own experience and I recommend this place. It was about a 10 minute walk to the French Quarter which was also an enjoyably experience. The Landlord was friendly.

Loved every minute
This was our first visit to NOLA and we loved being in this neighborhood where you could walk to anything you wanted to see. The people in the neighborhood were all very friendly as well as the hosts. The cottage is quaint, clean, and well stocked. The fact that we had bikes to ride around was just icing on the cake! I can’t recommend it highly enough.
