The pictures of the “view” or neighborhood on the listing look nothing like the neighborhood this property is in. They are stock photos from Google, not the actual street. It felt like we were showing up to an abandoned building, not somewhere that cost the same as the 4 star hotel we ended up staying in. The neighborhood is dilapidated and poorly depicted. We did not feel comfortable staying overnight. There were wasps, the unit wasn’t terrible, but wasn’t very clean, and the pictures make it look much nicer than it turned out to be. After we booked our trip, a new review came up that said homeless people slept in the hallway and that definitely made us feel uncomfortable. The building is not locked or secured in any way and it just did not feel safe. We truly felt like this listing is not accurately described and we ended up staying at a hotel instead.

Even though the listing indicates an upstairs unit I was forced to crawl up the STEEP stairs. Contacted Host and all they offered was it was in the listing.
There were 3 floor levels to the unit which made it very hard on this 74 year old man. Very dangerous for me to walk around

Nice location, very small, but needs security. Homeless folks sleeping in the hall isn’t acceptable.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this charming apartment in the heart of the city. Walking distance from both Frenchman and Bourbon Street. I traveled with my daughter and we had plenty of room for the two of us. Can't wait to revisit her again.

This place was perfect for a couple's trip. We were able to park right out front of the building and then able to walk every where. Frenchman's street was close and provided plenty to do. The condo was clean and comfortable.

Perfect place for the two of us for a quick weekend getaway for our anniversary. The hosts were super responsive and provided a lot of insight on local restaurants and attractions.

Beautiful clean space for two
My girlfriend and I really enjoyed staying here for our first time in New Orleans! Check in and communication was easy, space was neat and clean. Since we traveled a long distance it was nice to not have to worry about towels, shampoo, conditioners, seasoning, etc… The location was a little more than a mile away from tourist attractions (ex: center of Bourbon Street, French Quarter.) I would highly recommend Blue Bikes that are very conveniently located across the street! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Clean and cozy
We stayed here during Christmas and found the place to be very clean and cozy. The furnishings are nice and modern. The bed is extremely comfortable, and we both slept very well for all three nights of our stay. The unit is upstairs and the stairway is more narrow than you might expect, but we had no issues. The immediate neighborhood is quite charming, with lots of character in the surrounding homes, a few businesses, including a couple of restaurants, and plenty of residents out walking their dogs. We parked on the street and didn’t have a minute’s trouble. For us, it was a good value and we enjoyed our stay.

Ideal for Two
The apartment had everything we needed and the property manager was very responsive. Many small restaurants are nearby and the walk to Frenchman Street was feasible. There was significant traffic and construction noise with work being done on nearby buildings. Unavoidable as the city is still recovering from Hurricane Ida. Overall, great stay!
