This place is very nice , super clean and the host was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. 5/5 stars I highly recommend

Overall the stay was great - place was neat, well organized, and everything was very easy and accessible. Super unique location, but the fence made it feel very quiet and private and away from everything, which was exactly what we were looking for. Great to be so close to downtown but feel like you were out in nature. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something unique and quaint but only a few short miles to downtown TC.

We were wowed as soon as we opened the door. So clean, spacious and it has everything we needed. The hot tub was awesome and also very clean. It was close to everything. We did some hiking at sleeping bear dunes and had a wonderful dinner at the Artisan. The lake and the views exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back!!

This establishment was amazing, it was very clean and had everything we needed. It was a great summer vacation spot to explore downtown traverse, the wineries and the near by inland lakes. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

Wish we lived closer!
Loved Traverse City and the house! Smartly decorated, cute and comfortable. 5 of us and our little pooch had plenty of room. Proximity to the beach and downtown was awesome. Highest compliment I can give is WHEN we come back to TC, we will stay here again!

Amazing & relaxing stay!
If you’re ever in TC, I would 100% recommend staying at this cozy cabin! From convenience to cleanliness, the stay was outstanding. I appreciate how much thought the owners put into the experience - I literally didn’t have to do a thing outside of purchasing firewood and food. Lauren was very prompt and communicable, I have ZERO COMPLAINTS. There are games and toys for children, which helped entertain us as a family - in addition to the fire pit. I love the style and feel of this cabin also; it has the feel of camping in the woods while also being down the street from a beach! Truly, the best of both worlds. Great wineries nearby! What more can you ask for?! Amazing location, amazing experience! Thanks Lauren!!

It was a very nice relaxing time, and the house was immaculate! Sad it wasn’t a longer stay!

Great Cabin
This was the perfect little cabin for our weekend trip. Even though you are very close to downtown Traverse City, the yard and surroundings make you feel like you are more secluded. The stream that runs through the property adds a calming element. The location was perfect for us to get to Mt. Holiday, Crystal Mountain and other ski resorts. Plenty of restaurants and shopping close by. The hot chocolate and marshmallows were a nice surprise and perfect after returning from the slopes. We found everything we needed for a weekend stay. The owners were very quick to respond to a few minor issues. While we stayed in the Winter, I can see it being a great place for a summer vacation, close to the Bay and other area attractions.

Perfect!
The house was cute, clean, and a great space for our family of 4 plus my brother and his wife. We loved being so close to town but feeling like we were secluded. Lots of small, nice touches throughout - can’t even be mad my kids now know a hot cocoa bar is a thing. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Up North Spot
My husband and I stayed for a week. We both had work to do but enjoyed the area during off time. Well appointed kitchen, plenty of seating, great Wi-Fi, beautiful views and great location. It was also sparkling clean which I appreciate! Lauren and Tom were great hosts and very responsive. I look forward to staying again - hopefully when the weather is warmer!

Fall/Winter Weekend Getaway
My sisters, mom and I went up for a quick weekend in Traverse City and this house was perfect for us! Despite being close to town, you felt secluded and the yard space was beautiful with wooded area and river right out back! Great location and excellent communication, would definitely come back and spend even more time.

Great indoors and outdoors. Kids loved the stream which is right next to the house. Little bit of traffic noise during the day, but it was quiet at night.
Nice kitchen.

Wonderful, relaxing, beautiful
My wife and I (and our dog) loved every minute of our 3 day stay. From the walking trail, the creek on the property, the comfortable decor and super comfortable bed. Not to mention the hot tub :-) 😀

Perfect group getaway
Spent a long weekend with two other couples in this house for a friends wedding and it was everything we could have hoped for. Very clean and spacious. Made good use of the hot tub, fire pit, and bike path which was super close. Short drive down town and just about a 7 minute drive to the airport which was so convenient as we were all traveling from New York. If we return to Traverse City I would absolutely stay here again. Hosts were also very responsive.

Cozy and Clean!
We had a great stay at this property! The beds/pillows were very comfortable and the house was immaculate! The bedrooms were large. Anything we needed was at our finger tips or very neatly organized and labeled in the basement (extra blankets, towels, etc). The house is located on a main road (like many are) but the house does have a privacy fence in place to block the noise and lights from the road. I love staying in this area of Traverse - close to town but away from the hustle and bustle. We enjoyed the stream that runs through the property and the trails! Really a great place! We will be back!

This was an adorable, perfectly decorated/furnished cottage. The yard/views were beautiful, the location perfect, and the hosts were very helpful with the few questions we had. We really enjoyed our stay!

Comfy and inviting cabin in the woods
Picturesque and nicely renovated property with thoughtful amenities. Owners are easy to work with and go the extra mile to make your stay more comfortable. The quiet little creek and nearby trails provided entertainment for our fisherman and dog. The property is a bit noisy due to traffic but that also gave us easy access to the many available excursions in the area. We especially loved the choices of beaches and wineries.

This was the perfect stay for anyone who wants to be close to downtown, wineries, the beach, etc. Most things we wanted to do were within a ten min drive and at most, a twenty min drive. The house was clean and smelled great, dog friendly, which is a huge plus. They even had treats and poop bags available. Hot tub was large and well heated with beautiful string lights. The creek has many fish right beside the house. A perfect stay with plenty of room for the family and pets, great accessibility, WiFi, etc. Definitely would stay here again!

50th Birthday getaway.
Absolutely wonderful house on a creek with a view of the woods. Such a comfortable home with fantastic amenities. We loved the hot chocolate and marshmallows. The beds are comfortable, the views are great and I’m a stickler for thick towels and this place has them. Great location, five minute drive to downtown. A great place to relax between shopping and dinner. Super clean and we loved being able to have our fur babies with us. It made for a wonderful milestone birthday long weekend.

Our expectations were exceeded!
My adult daughter and I needed some R & R. This property provided everything we hoped for and more! Upon our arrival, we were thrilled to see the beautiful creek in the backyard (we especially loved the bridge that crosses over the creek). The hot tub provided perfect endings to our days! It was wonderful to find large windows to overlook the beautiful property. We lucked out and it snowed, making the creek look even more picturesque! The fencing adds privacy to enhance the northern Michigan experience. It was also so convenient to have Grand Traverse Bay just a short walk away, as well as shops and restaurants. Inside the cabin you’ll find higher end Amenities. We even picked up a few decorating tips from their wonderfully creative decor. Like most, especially appreciate comfortable beds. Wenwere thrilled with our good nights sleep! Most definitely, we hope to return in the future. Thank you Lauren for the top-notch hospitality!

Relaxing and clean getaway
As a current person, who is shopping for a home, often times pictures let you down. This property is the exception. The home was clean, and welcome, and the customer service was top notch. I would rent again. Thanks for the fun weekend.

Secluded cabin located just outside downtown TC
Very nice, clean, spacious cabin. Very happy with the location and feeling of being close to nature. Only drawback was it was off very busy road. Privacy fence was helpful with road noise.

Lovely Cabin
Cabin is both comfortable and spacious - the pictures understate the amount of room you have in the main dining and living areas which was a very nice surprise. Sparkling clean and tastefully decorated, was very pleased with the accommodations. The grounds are well kept and the little stream running through the property gives it a very charming touch. The two things to be aware of: the main road that the cabin sits on is very much a main road with fast moving traffic that is nicely blocked from sight by a privacy fence (you can hear the traffic sitting outside but inside was very quiet) and the check-out time is on the early side to allow the cabin to be thoroughly cleaned (which it was!) for the next guests. Overall, a great property and a lovely place to stay.
