When renting a condo in St. Thomas, you may ask, how far is the beach? Ours is ON Sapphire Beach, fifty or so steps from the water. It is a direct oceanfront condo located on the second floor, offering greater privacy and protection from blowing sand Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina, St. Thomas U.S.V.I., is one of the island's finest properties on one of the world's finest beaches. Our beachfront condo overlooks a half mile of white sand beach and has a direct view of St. John and the British Virgin Islands.
This beautiful one bedroom, one bath condo has a large private balcony, full kitchen and a large living area, air conditioning, ceiling fans, free Wi-Fi, cable TV, and DVD player. The bedroom, with a king size bed, can be screened off with a sliding mahogany partition for privacy.
Our condo is located in a private gated community with on site snack bar, marina, gorgeous pool, and water sports.

We loved staying a the Sapphire Beach Resort. We love this area and wow this unit made it an amazing stay. Would not have been happier. Excursion to Buck Island and ferry to St John were all easy to get to and super fun and memorable. We will be back!

We had a great stay at this property. We also host, and paid specific attention to the reviews. This property did not disappoint and was a great spot.
We've never been to St. Thomas, but have been to St. Croix. That being said, we like to stay away from the busiest areas and just enjoy the beach.
This place is close to the small town or Red Hook, which has everything you need. (Groceries, restaurants, souvenirs, etc.) The property is also right next to a marina for jet ski rental, oara sailing, and fishing charters. So, you dont have to go far. The ferry to St. John is 5 minutes away and a quick 10 minute boat ride gets you there for more dining, beach options, and shopping. That being said, there is a coffee shop, bar, fine dining, and pizza shop all on the property. An additional restaurant is on the connecting property. All are good.
Yes, the islands do have power outage issues, but they don't exactly turn the beach off. So, just bring a couple of extra battery chargers for your phones, and you'll be fine.
Overall, a good stay with good hosts. I would recommend a stay here.

This property has everything you need to be comfortable on vacation. My partner and I thought the location or the unit was perfect to enjoy both the pool and beach, as well as the other complex spots like the bar and restaurants. The unit was very clean, supplied what we needed to enjoy the beach, and was very comfortable. From the bed, balcony, bathroom, etc. we found everything to be perfect and exactly as described. The unit owners were very easy to communicate with and gave great info on the area. We would definitely book from them again.

Took my grandtwins… first time in St. Thomas for all of us. Our stay was fine. Place was exactly as seen in pictures. Kitchen has all the essentials needed and clean too. We would stay here again. Thank you.

Condo is very clean. The location on the beach was excellent. Sapphire Beach is a great beach to stay on for a family. The location is convenient to the ferries in Red Hook as well as many dining options. You have three dining options in the resort on the beach. There is enough space for two adults and two children. Communication with the host was excellent. If you like to snorkel, Sappire Beach has it all. Pretty good coral and sea life on the left and right sides of the beach. A great grassy bottom where we saw sea turtles everyday. Also, a great sandy bottom for Stingrays. Thank you for a great stay!

The property was amazing and the views serene. The property manager was very responsive to our concerns when the electricity went out. We lost power for a total of about 24 hours combined during our five-day stay. Obviously this was out of the control of the owner and they were empathetic to our situation. I recommend that you bring battery packs for your stay. I was surprised that the resort did not have generators. Do your research when going to a new location of not just what fun things to do but the reliability of the electric grid. Beautiful views and a great property but just a word of caution about the electric news.

This is our second time here at 204-D. Last time there was a problem with the internet which was resolved within a few minutes after contacting the owner. This time no problems at all. I went to the same condo for a reason. The location overlooking the pool and the beach was incredible. The interior nice and the bed so comfortable. As far as the area, can't be beat. Love this place! Thanks!

Enjoyed the 7 night stay. The condo was great, beautiful, clean and comfortable. The beach and pool are just below the balcony, a few steps away. Loved St Thomas and St John' beaches and snorkeling. Views from the balcony were spectacular!

Great small condo on sapphire Beach. The division screens are perfect and the shade on slide doors keeps room dark until you want sun. Best views of sunrise and pool/ocean . Everything was comfortable and best frying pans ever in a VRBO . I usually go buy one and didn’t have to . We highly recommend Pangea and Pesce Italian. OMG GREAT FOOD.five stars all around.Safe clean and well run. Thanks for great birthdays break.

We were VERY happy with the Condo and especially the views from our Balcony. It was so fun to watch all the Boats and activity there daily. Everything we needed was there including a very comfortable Bed and patio furniture. If we had any questions the Hosts replied promptly. Hope to go back there again.

This condo and the Sapphire Beach property are so fantastic and perfect. We traveled with a group of 12 for our daughters wedding which was on New Year’s Day. They were married on the point directly in front of the condo. It was definitely incredible to be directly on the beach for the wedding and after visiting 5 other beaches during the week, we proved that you have everything you need right there! We even left one of our (former) favorite beaches, Magens bay, after only an hour to come back to sapphire beach because it was so much better! The snorkeling was the best, be sure to snorkel the reef that runs along the point. The room was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. And the Views!! Wow, they cannot be beat! Get up before sunrise to see the best sunrise ever!! Just don’t forget the bug spray, they are active at dawn and dusk for sure. Do not hesitate to book this property, we will definitely be returning! The owners were fantastic, we didn’t have any issues during our stay. Everything was like a dream, my only wish was that we would have booked for a second week! Next time for sure!!

This condo was fabulous! Clearly the owners have done some remodeling and it shows. Beautifully done. It was clean & comfortable and had everything I needed (and even a lot of extras I didn’t need). The location at Sapphire is great. Right on the more private part of the beach so waking up to those Caribbean views every day can’t be beat. And without the crowds. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in while on vacation ever. I even checked to see what the mattress was before leaving. I had a few questions while there and the owner was very responsive and friendly. I’ve been to the Island multiple times so nothing was new to me but for anyone who hasn’t been, if you don’t want to rent a vehicle, there are many taxis always on the premises willing to take you anywhere. Red Hook is a short 5 minute drive away and has several restaurant options or venturing further towards Charlotte Amalie is also not a long drive. It’s a great location with beautiful views on a beautiful property. I would highly recommend and will rent it again myself when I return to the Island.

As is sometimes expected we had issue with electrical outages for the first two days. Not the Hosts fault.
They were very responsive and accommodating during that period.
I heartily suggest you stay at their unit if you are planning a trip to St Thomas the facility and its surroundings are breathtaking

St Thomas is a beautiful and Sapphire Beach was a good place to experience the island. The condo is clean and well equipped. We enjoyed using the snorkel equipment
and beach towels provided. The restaurant on the property served us a lovely and delicious meal as we sat listening to the waves coming onto the beach. Our biggest mistake was renting a car. It was easy to get a taxi and hard to drive on the island.

The condo was very attractive with everything we needed. Second floor overlooking the beach and pool. Perfect! We had problems with the internet when we arrived but with one call to the owner it was fixes witgin a few minutes. Incredible rental.

the room was spacious and clean and had everything you need if you want to have some of your meals inside. the kitchen was very convenient to make bfast or lunch or keep leftovers ....
the bathroom with two sink was great for mysed and parnter who did not need to wait to do our morning and night hygenic routine.
we sat outside on the patio in the evenings and loved the quiet nights too.
the living area had tv and wifi so we were able to connect and disconnect
we decided not to drive so bring cash - and take the taxies by the cafe - not the parking lot, more organized and prices are more or less the same
the staff was lovely and Sudi's cafe was a great option if you dont venture out of the resort, but do try Pangea as there are nice restaurants close by.
Sapphire beach was beautiful and you can snorkel off the beach, but dont forget magens bay...also beautiful.
we day tripped to st john - the ferry is close by - but do need a taxi to get there - if you dont rent a car - driving can be work and we realized for a week vacay - only staying one week taxis are cheaper than rentals - but do go to the designated place for a taxi and calm the number they provide too. we were able to do small grocery shopping this way too.

Beautiful views of the beach and pool from the balcony. The bed was very comfortable. Living area was beautiful and serviceable. Shower and bathroom were very nice. John, the owner, was easily accessible and accommodating. I highly recommend this condo at Sapphire Beach.

This Studio was absolutely adorable, the view spectacular! And the bed.....the most comfy I have experienced away from home. John was a wonderful host, just a phone call away if needed for anything. Snorkel Gear and cooler on site a definite plus. Unit was clean and had everything we needed. I will definitely stay here again!

John was able to respond to our concerns when checking in, which was cleared up soon after we arrived. We however were a little concerned upon arrival that there was a mix-up with the other condo that he owns and the access to the condo.
The condo was exactly what was described and perfect for our stay. Very tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the location close to the beach and the pool right downstairs from the pool. The beach bar had great food and Sudi's had great breakfast!
We would have liked to have more than a few beach towels in the room, since typically they are difficult to pack when you have limited room in your suitcase.
John was able to give us a late check-out for the check-in mishap, which was greatly appreciated.

Once we arrived, we initially had a parking spot in front of the building. Very impressed with the cleanliness of the property and surrounding area. The condo was exactly as pictured! Clean, inviting, no surprises. We had an excellent view of the bay. My entire family stayed on the resort in different buildings and it made our vacation the best. THANK YOU!

We had a wonderful stay and would be happy to stay again. Great location…convenient to everything but away from the crowds in Charlotte Amalie. This condo has amazing, direct views of the water and islands. Very well equipped with everything that we needed. We made a few meals in and had everything that we needed. There are restaurants for dining or carry out within a short walk or a short drive to Red Hook for more options. The condo was very clean and updated. Checkin was super easy. Parking very convenient. Communication with owner was simple. Very happy we selected this for 5 days of fun and relaxation!

This property is amazing. Beautiful location, and our unit had everything we needed. It is well kept and very clean. Convenient location on the island with snorkeling right outside the door. Definately would recommend.

The condo was great, Building D is in front of the pool looking towards St.John. Just a little Hurricane roof damage by old bar area by the pool, nothing to worry about. Full moon party was a good time, try to book your vacation around a full moon if you like to party. Lots of Taxi's all over. Bring cash for Taxi's no C/C are accepted in Taxi's. Some ATM's were not working. Plan on $200 a day in food and Taxi fares if you go out. Did an Exbidition on St.John through Virgin Islands Exbidition Company well worth it.

This was our third stay at Sapphire Beach Resort and this condo was our favorite. I was attracted to the online photos of the interior, but another big selling point was that it had an oven - the majority of the condos don't seem to have one. I don't get carried away cooking while on vacation, but having the oven made it easier and offered more meal options. This condo was up to date and extremely clean and well furnished and maintained. Plus the owners were very responsive and offered lots of helpful information regarding the condo and resort, as well as the island in general. We were in Building D - it was not as windy as Building E, had a beautiful view and is quieter than Buildings A and B. Will book it again if we return for a fourth visit.
