Our family stayed at this Vrbo for a Labor Day weekend wedding. It was a wonderful visit. The house is spacious. The extra long dining table is a great feature — we could fit everyone around it. Michael was attentive. We highly recommend this house.

This house fit our needs for a rather large group of family members. The house could use significant maintenace, but we are not overly particular and were happy that it accomidated our unique needs.

A group of 13 of us stayed here, and although the house could use a lot of updates (ie. missing exhaust fans in the bathrooms, couches with ripped cushions, outdated fixtures and interior design) it was still very clean, spacious, well stocked, and a great value for this size of home.
There was AMPLE space - it felt like there were bedroom after bedroom here, so if you have a large group and are okay with a dated look, this is a great place to spend time together.
Owner was also extremely friendly and kind. I would stay here again.

It doesn't feel big as a 4000 sf house in it's layout, but it worked for our group. Pros: Great spot in Beautiful setting/yard, close enough to P-town. Stocked with enough dishware/ cutlery/ toilet paper/towels/sheets for a group. Big dining table. Firepit. Enough chairs for all. Good amount of parking. Cons:Clearly a party house, somewhat run down, very stained carpets, paint pulled off walls. Dead beetles everywhere. Every day more appeared and died. Upon arrival we spent 30 min vacuuming bugs and the debris that had not been vacuumed on carpeted stairs, and wiping dirty smears and insects from kitchen counters. Beetles were crawling on us in bed at night! (not owner's fault but it was gross!) No dish sponges available (though owner responsive and willing to bring one). Old meat left on grill. We needed instructions how to use thermostat and had to replace its batteries as they died. Luckily we had some. When it was hot outside, air conditioning kept us comfortable on main floor but it got too Freezing cold for us to use the basement level, and was too hot to use the loft area! When the weather cooled and heat on, it still didn't warm enough downstairs for our use. No screens so we couldn't open windows at night, or keep sliding door open, especially with all the beetles around. One person downstairs said her carpet or bed smelled of urine. BUT Really--better cleaning, thermostat downstairs, some maintenance, and I'd stay again, but not in bug season!

We booked this house for a surprise 40th birthday family reunion and overall had a great stay! The host was really responsive and even brought us a new coffee maker extra TP when I notified him that the coffee carafe was broken. We really enjoyed the space to get together and play games. The kids loved the swing set, foosball, ping ping and we even had a fire and roasted marshmallows. Plenty of towels, the kitchen was well appointed and there was extra soap, shampoo and body wash etc available in the pantry.
The property is a little run down, some things were broken but for the price, proximity to the city while being quiet and scenic and plenty of room for everyone to gather- it’s a great value and I’d totally book it again. Thanks for a great weekend!

Michael was great at communicating and helping us have a great stay. The house is in a great location for access to Portland attractions as well as Beaverton and Hillsboro. We needed a place where our family could all stay together for our youngest son's wedding. We had people fly and drive in from 5 different states. This was the biggest place we could find that would fit us all.

We had 15 adults (kids are all over 15) who all had their own bed and plenty of room to spread out. We loved the dining room table for meals and games as we spent a lot of time doing this. There were plenty of dishes, glassware, small appliances, old towels, etc. There was a large supply of unneeded shampoos and conditioners in the pantry but the house was lacking in needed bar soap, dish soap, and toilet paper.
Temperature: When we arrived, the heat was turned off (in December) and it was 52 degrees in the house. We found three open windows downstairs contributing to the very cold conditions. We finally got the heat to warm things up but the far bedroom downstairs never warmed up and the small bedroom downstairs has a vent above the bed that overheated the couple sleeping in there.
Living Room: The couch was blocking the fireplace, so we moved things around a bit. When we moved the couch, we found all kinds of lego blocks, food, crumbs, etc – it was kind of gross. I called the owner for instructions on the fireplace, and he answered right away and let me know we needed long matches to light the gas fireplace. We never got it to light.
Kitchen: The oven was tricky. I had to call the owner for instructions, and then we were able to get it to turn on. But it was problematic all weekend, and we couldn’t get it to turn on at all on our last day.
Deck: It was December, so we weren’t outside much. We put sodas and juice out there to keep it cold, so we’d have more space in the fridge. The deck was full of leaves – it would have been nice if the cleaning crew would have swept them off.
Furnishings: Furniture was fine, nothing special (other than the dining room). The wood flooring seemed new and looked nice, but the carpet was badly stained so it just looks dirty. Lots of chips in the wall paint too. It might have been nice to have a bigger television in the living room – it was such a great space and the television just looked so small in there with us all trying to watch the World Cup.
Overall, the space worked for our family reunion. I feel like with a few upgrades and supplies it would be perfect.

This is really a nice place to stay and do great for our four family unit group. Big place with multiple rooms that allowed folks to separate off and have some alone time, if needed. Only drawbacks were needs some upkeep. Step down into living room should be orange taped to increase awareness of change in height of floor. We ate all meals "in" so a complete kitchen was essential. We brought dishtowels and cloths fortunately as there were none; there were only 2 pods for the dishwasher so we bought those; we also bought pot holders as there were none. Plenty of bath towels, dishes, silverware, cooking tools, pots and pans though. I made a complete Thanksgiving dinner there, owner even bought some baking ware and a mixer so I didn't have to bring them which was most kind. We would rent again as nothing was a show stopper when it's positives were greater than its negatives.

Great house for bigger groups
This property is located in a great spot. Close to the city, but in a quiet neighborhood that is safe and friendly. The house is big and comfortably sleeps 12+ people. There is plenty of room for socializing upstairs and potentially out back, although we mostly stayed indoors. This place is about a 10 minute drive or less to Portland and pretty well centrally located west of the city, which also makes it only an hour and a half from the coast, if sightseeing is your thing. The host was always quick to reply to any questions. Make sure you check the room behind the kitchen for any supplies they might have before going shopping, there are a few basics there. If the opportunity came about again and needed to sleep 10-20 people, I would look for this property first.

Really great property! Lots of bugs and ants in the house. Definitely could replace the toaster.

Large home to accomodate lots of people but needs a bit elbow grease to make a better experience
Was accomodating but could use some work. The home was not very clean - dust around, socks and dirt in the couch, etc. The stove handle was broken and basement shower was broken. We notified the owner and didn't get much of a reply. Beds were a bit hard. Overall the house fit our needs, but could use some work that would be easy to fix.

Great House for a big group
The house was excellent for our big group to spread out and feel at home. The house was in a great neighborhood. It was honestly the only place I felt safe in the entire city.

Spacious house perfect for extended family get together
We had four family units staying together. We had plenty of room to spread out or gather together as wanted. The yard is fenced and there is swing set for children. The location is very convenient to zoo, rose garden, and Japanese Garden.

60th Birthday Weekend
We were 6 couples and the house was a perfect fit. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out, kitchen was well stocked ~ we made breakfast each day and LOTS of hot water for showers.
Location was excellent. About 15 minutes from Downtown Portland.
I'd recommend this to any large group including ones with smaller children as there is a lovely swing set in the backyard and some room for them to move around.
Michael was super attentive and easy to communicate with PLUS he left us bagels and cream cheese!

New Year's Eve In Portland
We were 5 couples coming to Portland to spend New Year's Eve with friends living up there. This home was the perfect answer to our needs. Plenty of sleeping areas, convenient kitchen, and room to play games and have a nice get-together. Be aware, the lighting is a little low in the dining area. Brighter wattage bulbs would help. Michael, the owner was very responsive to questions and little issues we bumped into ... and even dropped off a dozen bagels and cream cheese for our first breakfast. Definitely recommend this for summer or winter.

Fantastic house for a big family gathering
This was an amazing house for our big family holiday gathering. Big, warm, lots of rooms and beds, and lots of bathrooms. On top of it all the hosts were also great to work with, friendly and responsive. Thanks for a wonderful space !

Great house and location for a Portland getaway!
Nine of us ladies enjoyed staying at this home for a relaxing weekend in pdx! Bringing a box of bagels was a welcoming touch from the owner. We loved that the dining table was big enough for us all to sit at and eat meals together that we had cooked in the well-stocked kitchen. We also appreciated that there were plenty of comfortable beds for us all. Thanks for sharing your home, Michael!

Amazing!
This property was amazing! There were only 8 of us so everyone pretty much had their own room. The place was clean and had pretty much everything we would have needed(besides food). The neighborhood was very quiet. Michael even stopped by the first morning with a box of fresh bagels. I would not hesitate to book this place again.
Thanks Michael!

Gary's Birthday Party.
The House was great for Gary's birthday.
The yard really needs work to get it back in shape. The yard does not look like the pictures.... Was very disappointed wanted to take group pictures out side.
Understanding that watering the grass is expensive but the landscape needs some serious TLC!

Boys Weekend in Portland
This house has plenty of room for a large group. The large backyard and fire pit are great for entertaining. Situated between Portland and Beaverton it has great access to both cities from the Max Red Line. Also conveniently located close to the Portland zoo.

Awesome rental home
We had a great stay at this beautiful home. The home was just perfect for our big family of 20. The owner even left us a delicious bagels. We are lucky to be able to rent this home which is close to the city and the neighborhood is very quiet and everything is close by.
We all made memorable memories and this home is a big part of it. We can't ask for more.
Thanks Michael.

Lovely home with lots of space and room. Owner was very friendly, stopped by to check in on us, unusual but that was okay. He brought bagels. Location is not near downtown as we thought. Overall the place was magnificent and met all our needs.

Spacious
This rental was a great choice for a big family! It was family friendly and the backyard was very spacious and fun. Well stocked on supplies. Michael was very easy to contact and friendly. The only thing about this place is the dim lighting and windows in the bathroom but overall my family was satisfied with their stay!

Nice house for lots of people, but could be better taken care of and presented.
The paint colors and dim lighting are challenging in the dining/living rooms. Also, surprisingly, the upholstery on the benches at the dining room table was torn and towels had stains.

Nice large house, well stocked with supplies
Rental went smooth with no issues. The house is large and has a nice backyard. Lots of beds to sleep people and the house is well stocked with supplies and cleaners/laundry/detergent. Recommended.

Get away for our Bunco Babes!
It was perfect for a large group (11 women) on a get away vacation. We enjoyed the kitchen and large dining table where we could eat or play games. The beds were comfortable and everyone got their own. We would come here again.

Perfect for our reunion
The house was perfect for our family reunion. There were plenty of bedrooms with comfortable beds. The kitchen was will supplied with cookware. The dining room was well stocked with glassware. We have rented homes through VRBO before and everyone thought this was the best one we have rented.

Not as pictured, needs upkeep
Pluses: Good size and kitchen well stocked w/glassware & dishes. Good towel supply. Minuses: The yard was a dead plant mess. Trash all over and months collection of leaves. On arrival all trash and recycle trash bins were overflowing, carpet everywhere were filthy, urine smell in bunk bed room, outlets in 2 bathrooms didn’t work (very inconvenient) we had to replace several lightbulbs, outside outlets didn’t work either, ripped cushions on benches, garage dirty w/lots of trash inside. I have pictures of these things. This was not a cheap house to rent and believe we should get more than just our deposit back.

Great for our big extended family
The house was big enough for all 16 (babies included) to sleep in bedrooms and still could have packed in a few more. Everything we needed was there. We really didn't need to pack as much as we did. Quiet with a forested view out the back window. The A/C was especially needed a couple of days (for those that don't realize most home in the Pacific NW don't have A/C) Just a great place for the family to gather and hang out for 4 days. Michael was a great and understanding host.

Good neighborhood but the property felt very dirty and outdated.
The kitchen and main living areas of the house were nice but as soon as you reached the carpeted areas things went downhill. The carpets were very stained and tired. All of the mattresses throughout the house were very cheap, thin mattresses without any box springs. The comforters smelled of mildew and some even smelled of urine.
4.0
The house was very clean, well stocked, and spacious. We like to play games and the chairs were not comfortable, the sofas were hard and so were the mattresses. Outside furniture was rickety and uncomfortable also. No lamp to read by in the living room. The owner was very nice and accommodating but I could have used a sheet left out with instructions on how to use the thermostat and with check-out instructions.
5.0
Property was in great condition and well equipped with all necessities. Our hiking group of 12 enjoyed the stay and very comfortable.
