The perfect B&B, with pleasant hosts, delicious breakfasts, quiet location.

We were made to feel very welcome by our friendly hosts, and it was very homely accommodation. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, especially the sausage! The location was in a pleasant residential area, nice and quiet, with access to various sources of food for our evening meals. We would certainly visit again, to continue our visits to Kent's numerous country houses.

There was rather a difference in size between my own room and my friend's, but this wasn't really a problem as we could sit comfortably together in the larger room in the evenings. My bathroom was not en suite but as I had sole use, that was no problem either.

This was better than our expectations in every way.

The owners were very friendly and welcomed us warmly. Both our bedroom and en-suite bathroom were unexpectedly palatial and very clean and comfortable. The bed was advertised as an extra large double and it was substantial with a quality firm mattress that provided comfort to my partner who suffers with some back pain. Our vegetarian breakfasts were nicely prepared. The location was quiet and ideal for visiting a number of National Trust properties in the Sevenoaks and surrounding areas.

There was nothing we did not like.

heavenly bed with huge bathroom.

Ann Sofie and Richard are very nice hosts. The Upthedowns B&B is our best stay during our month long tour in UK.

The couple who run UpThe Downs were friendly ,helpful and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The twin room was a perfect size for 2 and had all the facilities we needed. Some lovely touches we fresh milk in the room for tea/coffee, also a carafe of cold water. Breakfast was nicely served and cooked. Definitely recommend and I hope we get to stay there again.

The hosts had paid a lot of attention to detail, there was nothing lacking. I don't normally eat breakfast so just opted for coffee and toast. The coffee was excellent.

Checking in could be earlier. Alot of walkers stop here and sometimes it's difficult to judge arrival times. Perhaps a little flexibility.

we went wine tasting with our friend and found this B&B which was unbelievable.

2 min walk to curry house food was great. on suite room was amazing as was the double ,breakfast was very very tasty .

Very suitable for our one night stay whilst visiting Sevenoaks School.

Very pleasant, friendly owners of the B&B. Nice view of attractive back garden from bedroom window.

Squeaky floorboards in toilet / shower room. Had a cooked English breakfast plus toast and marmalade and coffee but not offered any cereal and fruit juice.

The perfect B&B

The hosts were very warm and welcoming. The room was large, immaculately clean and well equipped. Lovely furniture. Breakfast was superb and served in a beautiful garden Room with lots of art. Very quiet and peaceful location.
