Nothing not to like.

Jill (the host) was very good at communicating with me with regards to dropping in my luggage earlier than the usual check in time. She responds promptly via the booking messaging service. Jill was very accommodating and helpful during my stay for 1 night. The room, kitchenette and living/dining space downstairs is immaculate. She puts alot of care and attention into making the place feel homely. It’s well worth the stay for such a reasonable cost. Many thanks Jill : D

Handy 5 min walk to Centaurus Rd shops and Brickworks Bar/Restaurant. Welcoming homely feel but with privacy.

Everything...quiet, convenient and comfortable. Great breakfast.

For what I was doing the location was good as it was around the corner from where I needed to be. I didn't have a car and the accommodation was across the city from the airport so I got a shuttle. I don't think it was central to the city but there were a couple of restaurants within walking distance and I had access to a kitchenette which I hadn't expected. Over all was just what I needed. The breakfast was a bonus and the owner did her best to accommodate my dietary requirements, which was really kind of her. There was also an offer of a bicycle so getting about would have been ok.
I was a bit nervous of the dog. It had free rein in the house so could come down to the part I was staying in and to the front door. It wasn't nasty or vicious, in fact it looked playful and friend but I'm cautious of dogs especially when the owners are out. Had I returned when the owner was away, I wouldn't have felt safe opening the door with it there. I understand this is a personal issue but I wish I'd known there was a dog in residence before I booked. It's not to say I wouldn't have stayed but I would have made my caution known to the owner.

Good sized clean sunny room, warm comfy bed, good ensuite/shower. Quiet location.
Fridge not in kitchenette or bedroom area but in separate lounge room.
TV channels not adjustable from bedroom - had to go out to lounge room down hallway to make changes on main TV.

It had everything I needed, great facilities, felt safe and secure as a solo traveller and loved the breakfast provided. Communication was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Great to have a continental breakfast each morning. Lots of excellent information available for tourists to Christchurch. And, plenty of reading material too. Very modern warm house and lovely views!
Nothing really, lovely quiet and peaceful place to rest up.

Good-sized bedroom, spacious bathroom, kitchenette, own dining room and terrace, all well-furnished, friendly and clean. Were invited to explore the garden with superb views of Christchurch and fruits. It's the only holiday accommodation in the host's house in a quite location overlooking the city. Enjoyed staying there.
Bed is quite small and wobbly. Whenever my husband turned, I woke up.

Great quiet location away from bustle of town. Bus links very good. Superb quality all round. Very friendly hostess, I would definitely rebook and stay again as well as highly recommend to friends.
The sofa bed - a friend made use for one night we advised host this is not really suitable for adults.

I was welcomed by the owner of the property with a beautiful and welcoming smile on her face despite arriving late at night (after 11pm). She kept updating me through messages about the roadworks and how it may affect my access. The house was clean, tidy, and very well maintained. The bed was comfy and the living room was well-equipped with a range of stuff to keep you entertained (I did not try anything since I was there only for a night). Breakfast was on the dining table even before I woke up and was presented in a beautiful basket. Appreciate the aesthetic sense of the owner. All in all, a very satisfying and pleasant stay that exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!
Nothing.

Highly recommend. Jill has established an exceptional B&B. Fabulous location close to the port hills and away from the main 'flat' city. I was able to borrow a bike and ride to the top and back. Port hills also have walking tracks. ( Cycle lanes everywhere in CHCH) The room is 'Newly renovated to a level better than any hotel. You have your own French door entry opening out to a lovely green and private area. Parking is off the street. I hope to come back again
