About this house rental
Vacation in true Virginian style in the historic Overlook Manor, located in the Sheep Meadow neighborhood of Homestead Preserve. This five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bath home impressively sleeps twelve and offers all comforts of home with a hint of luxury.
Choose from one of the many sleeping quarters, from the king-sized bed, to one of the three queens, or opt for one of the two twin-sized bunk bed sets. Each bedroom is complete with a private bath and is beautifully decorated.
Gather your group to relax in the living room with to watch a movie, or in the sitting room to go over plans for the following day, or enjoy eating breakfast in the sun-room, where you can enjoy the warm glow of the sunshine as you sip on your coffee. Cooking is easily done in the fully equipped kitchen and can be enjoyed at the six-person dining table, with additional seating found at the counter.
The large porch includes rocking chairs and beautiful views of the lush, wooded grounds. For your convenience, there is WIFI and a washer and dryer included in the manor.
Guests also have access to the Old Dairy Community Center less than 10 minutes away which offers a seasonal outdoor pool, large indoor hot tub, game room and fitness center. **Please be advised that Old Dairy access is limited, and will not be available if there is an event.**
Overlook Manor is located about a mile and a half to the Homestead Resort.
Please note that guests must be 21 years of age to rent this property.

Just great! We all enjoyed our time at Outlook Manor and would happily come back. Everyone in our family reunion group was so happy with the house and the way it is outfitted. Super clean, beautiful setting, we couldn’t ask for more. When we needed a little internet help, Stacy came right over and set us straight! We felt sad checking out because our wonderful time there had come to an end.

Overall the home provided great space for our big family group. Two things: I pulled several dirty (very) out of the cabinets and felt I had to wash each dish we used by hand. The shower in the master bath is not big enough to use… the water sprays directly at the wall and without ability to adjust the shower head (which has several clogged openings) it is not conducive to showering.
Also, the listing online has the Millhouse pictures, which we figured out prior to coming we’re not at the house, but I did think the pool table was located at the house. I just think the online listing could be a little more clear.

Enjoyed being located close to both Warm Springs and Hot Springs - but with a fabulous house for our friends and family to gather. House was as described & a delight to stay in.

This home is absolutely beautiful and stunning. Each room was comfortable and cozy with its own fireplace. The kitchen was fully stocked and a great dining room table for large families. The bedrooms were spacious, beds were comfortable and plenty of hot water. Everything was clean and spotless. We loved the location only two minutes from downtown and the ski slopes. We will definitely stay there again and recommend to our friends!

This is a remarkable property in a natural setting. The manor is quite spacious with many bedrooms and baths and a great accommodation for a family gathering!

We had a great long weekend in Hot Springs. The house worked well for our extended family - lots of bedrooms & bathrooms. The view is nice and the grounds are pretty. We always enjoy the facilities at the Dairy, concerts at Garth Newel, and nearby hiking & kayaking. Thank you!

This is our families second time staying here. Plenty of room and comfy beds. My only complaint is there is a leak in the master upstairs bedroom or mold in the ceiling. Not sure which but it’s very large. I would recommend some plastic cups and plates for kids!

We loved the house and the property! We have five adult children and we all gathered to celebrate my nephew's wedding. The house and location were perfect for us.

Great cozy home
The house was great. The neighborhood was beautiful and only one minute to the market. The Omni homestead is also one minute away where my kids really enjoyed the skiing.
We got about a foot or more of snow while we were there and we were quick to communicate with the staff and the informed us they had a crew that clears the driveway and roads - which they did right before we had to leave!
Our family really enjoyed our stay and we will be back soon!

Wonderful property with beautiful views!!
The suana, gameroom and Hot tub pictures should come down!! Our staff enjoyed walking around this beautiful lawn. Playing lawn games and enjoying the Sunsets!!

Perfect mountain getaway
This property was perfect for four couples for a weekend. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and the house has plenty of space to spread out. The property that the home sits on is beautiful! Check in and out was simple. The home is about 3-5 minute drive to the Homestead. We will definitely rent again.

This house worked very well for our group of 8. The house is historic and has real character, but was also very comfortable and spacious. The kids in our group loved playing outdoors, and the library (with gas fireplace) was the perfect spot for after dinner games. Stacy (our contact at Natural Retreats) was very responsive and helpful

Home of former VP
Beautiful historic home in a quiet, verdant neighborhood above The Homestead. Easy and quick access to all Hot Springs and the surrounding area have to offer without having to be in the tourist fray of the resort.

House perfect for 10 adults in the Mountains of VA
Used this house for a “Big Chill” high school reunion for 10 adults. Could not have had a better 4 days and 3 nights. Took advantage of all the outside activities offered by the Omni Homestead Resort as well (which was 3 minutes away). The 5 bedrooms and 5 and half baths worked perfect—as did the outside fire pit, front porch for a morning coffee or early cocktail and the modern kitchen allowed us to hire a chef to cook an in home dinner for tthe group.

Beautiful property
The house was nicely appointed with a beautiful back yard. Each room has its own bathroom. The children loved the fire pit. Natural retreats made sure we had everything we needed and the house was very clean.
