About this house rental
The 2024 Summer Calendar is now open for bookings! Newly built (2018) south facing home in Bayview, ID. Enjoy morning sunrises, afternoons down at the lake and evening sunsets. Our modern lake house is your home away from home! Only available for the months of June, July & August!!
The space:
Our two story home sits on a hillside, overlooking lake Pend Oreille and the town of Bayview, ID. Just off the main road, you travel down a dirt road for about a 1/4 mile before arriving at the home. There is parking for two vehicles in front of the home. The main level offers a living room with amazing views of the lake, double sliding glass doors that open up to the upper wrap around deck, a full size sleeper sofa, fully appointed kitchen, eating nook (table seats up to 6), 3/4 bathroom (shower, no tub) and 1 bedroom. The bedroom connects to the bathroom, has a king size bed and partial views of the lake. The lower level of the home has a roomy game/lounge area with a queen sleeper sofa. Large windows along the south wall offer more incredible views of the lake. On either end are sliding glass doors that open up to the lower, wrap around deck. The second bedroom, just off of the main room, has a queen over queen bunk bed, plus a twin trundle. You will also find a full bathroom and full laundry room. There are 4 smart tv’s throughout the home, all with Blu-ray players. A bbq and large, farm style table is located on the lower deck to enjoy your meals outside. From the lower deck, you can access the stairs that take you down to the lake and boat dock. The expansive dock offers plenty of space for lounging, fishing and lake time fun! PLEASE NOTE: Home occupancy - we allow 4 adults MAX, with a maximum capacity of 8 in the home, when including children. All occupants past the first 6 is an additional $20 per person, per night - no exception. We do NOT allow parties or large gatherings.

Pets - We do NOT allow pets in the home (including our own).
Water Levels - Mid September to Mid June, water levels are low and provide a rocky beach for exploring. During this time the dock drops and is not accessible by boat. The two higher decks connected to the dock are open for your enjoyment. Mid June to mid September the rocky beach is covered and the dock rises with the water, allowing boat access and swimming off the dock.

We absolutely loved our stay at this lake house. The view and surrounding areas were utterly fantastic. There were families of deer and quail that greeted us every day, and the kids loved playing in the lake. The house was clean and well stocked and communication with the homeowners was fantastic. Can’t give this a better review, we will definitely be back in the future!

Our weekend stay was absolutely amazing! The mountain/lake views for our morning coffee, lunch and dinner were stunning! We loved our stay in this beautiful house right on the lake. It had everything we needed and more. We all enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding. Our son loved the game room. He’s only 4 so he got his first experience with air hockey, packman and foosball. His life has changed forever! We enjoyed the proximity to silverwood but also being able to come back to the serenity of the house and the lake after a long day at the park. Thank you for an amazing vacation!

We had an amazing visit, we arrived on a Sunday afternoon, I do recommend arriving in the daylight as finding the property at night could be quite challenging. We only. Has one issue locating the property, the dirt road you turn on is “Jeepster” and this not mentioned in the directions but we were able to figure it out based the mileage descriptions. Looked like a newer sign so this may be a recent change. Directions are perfect, home had all the amenities of home and was very quiet and relaxing, loved setting on the deck at night and in the morning relaxing. Very chill, close to Silverwood, great place to unwind. Loved everything about it.

This was an exceptional rental. The location and views are phenomenal. The home was stocked with all the necessities and many little luxuries. My family enjoyed the paddleboard and kayaks. I wish we had scheduled to stay longer. Thanks for sharing your home with us. We loved it!

Fabulous cabin rental on the water!
What a wonderful cabin! This cabin is exactly as it’s as states. Beautifully decorated, incredibly clean, very well appointed with all the equipment/supplies you need. The bed and lines were super comfy & great quality. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful views, complimentary use of paddle boards, kayaks and life jackets. The games room, board games & dvds provided added such fun.
I would caution future guests to be mindful of the accessibility at this cabin - there’s loads of stairs within the property and the driveway/road is a touch frightening - definitely do not drive your boat past the village of Bayview, and really communicate with the hosts about parking etc. BEFORE arriving. Requesting additional pictures might be useful.
Also, the village of Bayview is very small and I’d recommend sticking up on groceries in one of the bigger nearby centers.

Bayview beauty!
Beautiful property exactly as described on VRBO! The house is beautiful, clean, very nicely decorated and the views are to die for! The kitchen is very well stocked and the downstairs game room has so many games/activities for the kids. The kayaks on the private dock was icing on the cake. I could go on and on about how wonderful this house is. We had zero issues during our stay.....check in and out were a breeze. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

The Best Lake Home Ever!!! If you want to know why read the review, guarantee you will love it
We have used home rentals from New York to Florida Southern California to Northern Washington and everywhere in between we look for the neighborhood that is secluded but not too far from great things something that holds our family Of six and will be a place we remember. And we will remember this place. It is the best home we’ve ever stayed in we’ve paid way more for way less the home is perfect very comfortable, but extremely nice inside without feeling over the top, everything is new inside, from the kitchen to the bedroom, especially for how inexpensive it is to rent. They provide way more than any place i have been from, kayaks, a game room, perfect kitchen, and amazing dock with Lakeside views moorings for a boat. We spent one day at Silverwood for the younger kids one afternoon doing a ropes course for the older kids and the remainder of the time just hanging out on the dock or on the deck watching the bald eagles in Osprey flyby, fishing relaxing at night watching movies and TV and playing games we were only there for four days but guarantee will come back again. This is the perfect place, no buts.

Lake House Getaway
Recharge at this beautiful lake house. Very peaceful and serene. The home has many comfort amenities as the owners clearly stay at the property too. For example, high quality linens, toilet paper, coffee supplies and cooking equipment.
Another nice feature is how quiet the "game" floor of the house is relative to the "relaxation" floor above. It's hard to believe they're only one stairway away.
Hosts are responsive and very helpful.

Dream Lake House
One of our favorite VRBO rentals ever!! Gorgeous, clean, comfortable, new home at a dream location on the lake. My family enjoyed our stay so much! The views and access to the lake was amazing. We loved relaxing on the dock, playing with all the kayaks, paddle board, beach toys, and very much appreciated the life jackets being provided. Highly recommended!

Perfect house, perfect location, perfect hosts!
My wife and two friends spent an amazing time at this idyllic lake house. The house itself is immaculate, almost like a set with props at a ver nice furniture store. It was spotless and had everything we can possibly need plus more. The beds are super comfy the pano windows offer an awesome view to wake up to in the AM. Location is peaceful, fairly secluded and right on the lake, which was a must for us! We spent relaxing days swimming, fishing, and paddle boarding. All the while, the Knolls played perfect hosts. They have a beautiful home that they clearly love and take care of, and their thoughtfulness as hosts shows in the entire setup. We can’t wait to return!

Property was very nice, the views were excellent. The kids loved using the dock and all the toys. The house was very clean and the game room was fun. The only things to say that needs attention was the cloths washer smelled a little and the oven smoked a bit when we tried to use it. Every thing else was wonderful.

Beautiful place for a family get-away
We absolute loved this place. The house was awesome and had everything we needed. It was perfect for our family of 4, but could definitely accommodate more. The views are incredible, and there are lots of options for relaxing on one of many decks. The kayaks were a great option to get on the water. The kids had a blast with the arcade games and air hockey. The water was low in early May, so we couldn’t access the dock, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the lake and the decks on the water were just right.

Great place with amazing view
This place was really put together nicely! Its a perfect get away spot with beautiful views! The view reminded us of our stay at seward AK but with a much quieter and more peaceful setting. I love that it is centrally located between Coeur d'Alene/Schweitzer mtn.-Sandpoint, and so close to everything that you would want to see while you are there as well as get to enjoy the peace and serenity that Lake Pend Oreille has to offer. We have stayed in many VRBO properties and this is the first one that we actually were happy to chill at as much as explore the area. We made it a point to come back early to relax as well as eat in :) Well stocked, very clean, love the amenities, the layout is great, the owner is great, have nothing bad to say about this place. Our family loved our stay at this property! The views are spectacular and the home is comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. It is evident that the owners truly want their guests to have a great experience while staying here. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, boating and just relaxing on the deck or dock and taking in the beautiful scenery and solitude! The kids loved the game room (and so did the adults to be honest). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and and had fun exploring Bayview and the surrounding areas. We have great memories from this vacation and look forward to coming back in the future. 😊�

Amazing tranquil getaway!
I can't really recommend this place high enough! We absolutely loved how charming and clean the house was and how accommodating the owner made it for my family, including young kiddos. There were so many thoughtful touches that made our stay absolutely perfect! Our favorite things were the breathtaking sunsets on the deck, the bbq for grilling, the dock for fishing and the super comfortable beds! We can't wait to stay here again, and that's saying a lot coming from a family of 6! Would give 10 stars if I could! Thank you!!
