About this house rental

You can't go wrong with this 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom retreat. Enjoy a drink on one of the two decks over looking the beautiful Lewis and Clark Lake, or just relax by the fireplace, or maybe a movie in the theater room. You can enjoy the sites of Yankton, boating on the water ( full service boat dock 3 miles away, Weigand Marina) , fishing at Gavins Point Dam, or catching some rays at one of the many beach areas during the day. All while, knowing that you have all the amenities of home.
The cabin has 4 bathrooms, each with a shower. The Master bedroom has a queen size bed and bathroom with a rain shower. Also on the main floor is a bedroom with two full size futons. Up stairs there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. Bedroom 1 - has two full beds and two single beds. Bedroom 2 - has one queen bed, one full bed, one single bed and a baby crib. Enjoy a big kitchen, grill, laundry room and bar area with a full size fridge.

We booked this listing for my Parent's 50th wedding anniversary. This property is spacious and clean. The decks have a view of the lake. The pool table and theater room were great we needed a break from the outdoors.

We celebrated our 45th anniversary with our family. Beautiful home. Very spacious. Well supplied kitchen and use of outdoor equipment. What a blessing to have our entire family under one roof!!!

The house is very nice. BEAUTIFUL scenery. There were some bugs in the house (and a few blankets). It looked like it had been cleaned, but had been empty for a few weeks.

Our family of 7 adults and 5 children found this to be a great home to enjoy spending a long weekend together. Nice view of the lake! Kids enjoyed playing pool, games, and the adults made a few fires outside after a nice 2.5” rain storm that came through. Brought the kayak to the beach nearby. Lots of life jackets for kids to use and beach chairs-thank you. Would recommend this to any family with kids and will come back if in the Yankton area again. Cheers

This rental was perfect for our family Christmas gathering! It was spacious, accommodated many families, and had amazing views! Matt was very responsive and receptive! Overall, a great stay!

Third time we have stayed here. This year we had 9 on our guys golf trip. Key to us is the number of individual beds. We also enjoy the huge deck, gas fire pit and lake views. The large kitchen works for us as well because we bring our own meals. This place never disappoints. Everything you experience is as advertised.

Stayed here for a yearly family get together, and it was great! We enjoyed the spacious home that fit everyone comfortably, the outdoor gas fire pit, and we were able to use a kyaak and paddle board that they had on site.

The house accommodated our family of 16 adults and 1 baby fine. The house was very nice, beautiful view of lake on upper level. Our family enjoyed the home. Owner was accommodating on communication.

We really enjoyed our time at the house. The view was spectacular. It was a very comfortable home. The pool table and tv/theater room was wonderful when the weather turned a little bad. The spacious kitchen was wonderful for gathering and cooking.

Was a great place to stay! Lots of privacy. The house was beautiful although not newly built. Lot of space to spread out. Close to lots of outdoor activities. The kids had a great time catching fireflies and roasting marshmallows in the front yard. Saw some gorgeous sunrises.

The home was beautiful and perfect for our weekend stay. Our only major concern was the dog next door. We were given a warning about him but I feel that this issue should be addressed further. On several occasions the dog came on to the property barking and showing aggression. We did not feel safe on the lawn unfortunately so we did not get to enjoy the fire as much as we would have liked. I also did not feel comfortable walking onto the lawn with my daughter as the dog was very unpredictable. When trying to check out the tree house he barked and ran down a family member. Fortunately he ran back home once we yelled at him. Other than the dog we enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and close to nearby restaurants/bars and the lake!

We loved the floor plan and decor of the home. It provided our extended family the chance to cook and eat together, play board games, enjoy the fire pit, and make great memories together. Having enough bedrooms and bathrooms provided privacy as well. That was important for the babies and small children. We wanted to be close to the beach, but not too close because of all the small children. We were only 10 minutes from the beach, so the view of the river was scenic too. The only challenge to the location was when it rained one evening, the gravel road next to the property got pretty messy which made it tricky to climb the hill with our vehicle.

We celebrated Memorial Weekend / My Wifes 30th Bday here and it was just the perfect space for the trip. We had 9 of us the first night (plus 2 kids), 13 the next, and 6 the final night. This house gives you all the space/comfort you need to accommodate any size. Spacious kitchen, nice bathrooms, big laundry space if needed. Nice Cold A/C on hot days in all the rooms was a huge perk! We didn't use the natural fire pit out back, but the gas pit facing the lack was just a natural hangout space if we weren't on any of the decks! We didn't use the DeepWater lake entry at all, but was available to use. Just a short drive to L & C, CJ's, Murdo's, etc. Will be back for sure!

We comfortably had 80+ guests for a graduation party and the property was perfect. The kitchen was fully stocked with serving items and pans needed!! Also everything was very clean and inviting. We hope to find time to visit again soon!

This home has everything you need and more! The first VRBO we've been to that accommodated our children above and beyond our expectations! The views are breath-taking. The owners were very helpful with area attractions. I can't say enough. We hope to visit again! There is a steep incline to the drive, but still plenty of room to park our pickup and boat.
