Everything I needed as a solo traveller, and the continental breakfast included in the room rate was really good, great coffee!
Perhaps it would have been good to be warned about the bell ringing practise across the road on the Wednesday evening, it was no big deal but I would have planned my time a bit differently if I had known, ie not to study or watch telly at that time!

Breakfast was very good, a variety of dishes and homemade apple cake. Everything was fresh and friendly personal service.
Would have liked a shower in addition to a bath. Other than that everything was fine.

The room was very clean, comfortable and warm. The buffet continental breakfast was very good with a large variety to choose from. The location was very convenient only a few minutes walk from the town centre.
There was some noise from glass bottles being binned at the end of the evening. The shower water control knob was stiff to operate and the water pressure a little low. These were reported on check out and should be easy to rectify.

Excellent Italian restaurant downstairs where we had dinner. Decent breakfast & good location
Number to call on arrival was not answered so had to occupy ourselves for a while before gaining entry. No-one present was advised beforehand but no response to call was disappointing. Room was bit hot & unlike our beans at breakfast which were cold, clearly forgot to stick in microwave. Toilet used by all was next to our room.

The Beaumont room is amazing! (if you like sitting in bath to shower). The breakfast is great (you have to order the night before). We were able to park at the property also after check-out which helped us out a lot.

The room was fabulous, great value for money. Bedding and towels were very clean.lovely old building. Food was amazing. Would definitely stay again.
The valance sheet could do with being changed, as lots of stains on it which didn't look good. The mattress could do with being replaced at some point, as felt a bit old.

Ideally located in the centre of town in a cute quirky building. Some nice breakfast options.
This venue is first and foremost a restaurants and it’s clear the rooms are an afterthought. Check in process needs improvement. Despite all the lights being on there was no-one around and the door locked when we tried to check in. Staff not very welcoming or apologetic for making us wait outside for 10 mins. Plumbing in bathroom sink is poor, water taps splutters and gets water everywhere. Shower small and difficult to use with poor water pressure. Mattress is old and uncomfortable, could do with changing. TV has terrible signal and not useable. It’s a historic building but it feels like the hotel is using that as an excuse not to make necessary improvements.

A lovely period property in a great location opposite Loughborough Parish Church (All Saints). This used to be the local Manor House and we had a huge room with exposed beams, a large fireplace and lots of original features. The bathroom had a large, modern shower with toiletries provided. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the bed was comfortable (and large!) There was a private car park to the rear.
Just a small thing but a bit of a nuisance as I was using the room to get ready for a wedding! There were a few mirrors including a full length one but nothing with light suitable for applying makeup (and no mirror in bathroom). The car park was a little awkward to get in/out of when it was full but that’s probably more of a comment on my parking skills than anything else.

Great staff and service, restaurant downstairs was wonderful, eating there was such a pleasure.
Room was a little warm at times, but an excellent fan (whisper quiet) was provided.

I love this hotel. The rooms are so tasteful.
We pre-booked a car park space, but there was none when we arrived.

The room we had was absolutely lovely - have stayed in there before. The room is extremely spacious and full of character. I love the fact that you get your won parking spot and the arrangements for breakfast are very good.
I cannot fault this hotel. It is in a perfect spot, excellent facilities and lovely staff.

Hotel is in a good spot. The bedding was clean and the bathroom spotless. Nice spacious room with plenty of furniture and storage.
Our room - the Huntingdon - was over the restaurant and quite noisy, also the kitchen extractor fan was constant and very loud. A lovely room with original beams, but let down by lots of little things. The bed cushions were very stained - they should be washed or thrown away. The TV remote didn’t work from the bed - you had to get close to the TV. There was an electric fan, it didn’t work. The curtains have gone and there’s just a very rickety Venetian blind at the window - looks very bare and lets all the light in. The chandelier looks beautiful in the online photos, but it only had ONE bulb working. The mirror light in the bathroom didn’t work. To cap it all, we were asked to book a time slot for our breakfast and when we went down at the allotted time the restaurant and kitchen were closed and we had to ring the owner to get the chef to come and serve us. We’d pre-ordered smoked salmon with scrambled egg and toast, but it was served as little bits of salmon mixed in with the eggs and the toast was from a thin white sliced loaf, barely toasted and still white. My pain au chocolat had been microwaved and was soggy and chewy. Also, asking guests to decide the night before what time they will be ready for breakfast and what/how much they will feel like eating is not very customer-focused.
