Great place with lots of room and a great backyard!

Awesome property!

We loved the outdoor spaces! We felt like we all had room to spread out. If you have trailers it is tight, but we made it work.

Extremely clean for dog friendly.

Lots of amenities. In addition to the ice machine in the refrigerator, they also have an extra ice machine which we loved. Lovely home. We all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Views, plenty of space inside, had 3 truck and trailers but not enough parking for them.

It was so clean and had everything

Everything was great! The house is clean and spacious, great layout. All of the rooms were really nice and comfortable, stocked kitchen with crockpot, keurig, icemaker etc. We all had a great time and had everything we needed, just wish the check out time was later. Nice yard with firepit and hot tub, enjoyed using both. Definitely recommend staying here, thank you!

Can’t say enough about this house and amazing comfortable place to stay while adventuring! Knowing we were coming in late the house was comfortable, lights left on so we could see! Clean would be an understatement and felt so welcome as we spent out time! If you ever have a chance to visit Moab then you’re missing out if you don’t stay here! Amazing

This place is spacious enough for our family of four adult kids with their spouses and 3 little grandkids. We all had a good time.

We loved all the room with 5 bedrooms and 3 baths...

We had a great time staying here for the week. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and cookware. The property was great to hang out in. The dogs had plenty of space to wander. The hot tub was in good condition which we used often. Everything in the description was accurate.

We had a fun family reunion. The property was clean when we arrived, the kitchen had everything we wanted, and there were lots of clean towels.

The house was beautiful and hosted our party well, however it has a MAJOR ant problem. Also dead bugs all around. There was an ant invasion in the kitchen and mounds everywhere outside. The outside cushions on the balcony were worn, torn and had cigarette burns. The lock on the door to the balcony didn't work. We got locked out several times and had to call the other people in the house to let us in. The hot tub was cloudy and stunk. We called and requested maintenence on Wednesday, but when we left on Monday the issues were never fixed. We never heard back and no one ever came. We weren't able to enjoy the hot tub, and had to constantly be worried about getting locked on the balcony. There were spiders in the extra blankets in the closet. Not sure if there are mice, but some kind of critter got into the chips. The ice maker is really nice. There was lots of space which was nice as well. We had issues with VACASA from the start. Out first house sold and they couldn't offer any comparable houses that fit our group so we had to pay close to another $1,000 for an upgraded house. Then it took multiple calls and emails for them to get that right. All in all, the house fit our party well but could use a good bug bomb and deep cleaning.

House was exactly as pictured. Reviews about cleanliness are pretty spot on. Dead bugs throughout house, spiders making a visit. Overall ok. Great for large groups with plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the outdoor seating area and comfy couch. Kids play area was a nice surprise. Kitchen had a crock pot and Keurig. Knives were super dull and we had an issue with outlets on the stove wall constantly tripping. Hot tub wasn’t super clean and smelled musty. Beds were comfy, linens were clean, and showers were hot. I wish the ice maker in the fridge, or the countertop one worked, but neither produced ice. Overall we would stay here again just because the layout is perfect for our group of 8 adults and 2 small kids.

We enjoyed the 5 spacious bedrooms with privacy for most every member of our large group. Big tables to gather around. Landscaped yard fire pit hot tub and grill were nice amenities!

Property not worth the $$
For the amount of people in the group, we were short on towels, bedding, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, and trash bags. . If you are going to advertise the house can accommodate a large group, supplies need to be stocked adequately.
We found an empty Capri sun package in one of the beds. Made us wonder if sheets had been changed. Found old socks, and trash under beds. There was not a dust pan with the broom.
The remotes in 3 of the bedrooms didn’t work or were missing. There was no cable. We had to download our own apps/accounts. We discovered after we contacted the property manager.
There is a picture of outdoor fire pit. Assumed firewood would be provided if you are traveling and advertising this ammenity. This would be a great addition.
For the price, we don’t recommend.

Not a great property for the $$$
Read the reviews, some old some recent, before I arrived hoping that these issues would have been addressed before I arrived at Trails End Retreat. They were not addressed. This house needs a good deep clean. There were dead bugs in the windows seals, bedding & towels old & ratty, base boards filthy, coffee pot on its last leg old & slow, grill in kitchen but power cord doesn’t work, great! Double queen bathroom needs attention. Small things make a big difference in comfort when traveling. What the price of the property lists on main page is NOT what you pay once outrageous fees & taxes are added. Buyer beware, the price advertised started at $650 per night & ended up $1000 per night once taxes & fees were added. $65 cleaning fee added for hot tub weather you use it or not. When I pay almost $400 cleaning service I expect clean & sanitized, house was not. Need to get rid of the dried flower arrangements as they are full of dust mites & falling apart all over the house. Likely will not book with Vacasa in the future due to outrageous fees & home needing attention but nothing done to address reviews & past renters concerns.

Pros and cons
House was great for the size of our group. Comfortable to all be together. Grounds are beautiful, nice large garage. However, landscaping needed, several LARGE rose bushes at front entry snagged clothes and poked us. Also, sprinklers go off every night at midnight hitting the bedroom walls for about an hour. We had to clean the outside furniture before use.
Hot tub was horribly dirty when we arrived, after several calls, we were told the spa company came out to service it and they "discussed it with us", we were not there when they said they came. It didn't get better, put in another call, long story short, unusable for a week :(
Called to get more TP, paper towels, dishwashing detergent and laundry soap. We were told they only give enough to get renters started and we would need to buy more. These items should be included in rental cost.
No hangers in the closets. Pantry is locked for private use, this made a week of groceries for 8 people difficult. We cleared out a dish cupboard to avoid storing it all on the counter.
Dog friendly means lots of pee stains everywhere there is carpet.
A big concern was the mold in the downstairs master bathroom. It looks like it continues to be painted over, this could be a health hazard and needs attention.
Note**Hot water in the shared front bathroom is scalding hot! Had to turn it as low as the water flow would go on cold to not burn ourselves.
All in all, we had a fantastic time, just items to note if you decide to choose this property. Also, it is in a rural neighborhood, which is quiet but about 15+ min. from town. Not a problem for us we enjoyed the space.

Great home!
Plenty of room, comfortable beds, hot tub and fire pit were great. No complaints here! The kitchen then had adequate cookware. Grill was also great!

Average and not very clean
There was a lot of mold in one shower. Also, the hot tub temperature gauge wasn’t calibrated correctly and the water was scalding.

Comfortable Home Away from Home
We found the house in good condition and with beautiful roses blooming in the front yard. The kitchen was especially well equipped with all the things we needed.

Great space for large families
Great space with lots of room. Beautiful yard. Strange neighbor but other than that it was perfect.

Overall, great stay
The house is very spacious with a good amount of bedrooms, we very comfortably slept 11 for 4 days. Only lost a star because it could have had more towels, been a bit cleaner, and communication on VRBO is difficult.

Moab Vacation
Great location close to town house was nice and clean but some areas need some attention to detail outside area when entering should of been much cleaner upon arrival, fire pit area also needed attention grill not so clean, upper deck chairs some cushions need replacement. Inside was clean as I said but washcloths very dingy not white at all master bath had none. Dryer took forever to dry cloths. What was most important was my family had a great time being together finally after a long time. All in all it was good.

Fun Family Getaway
We had a great time staying at this house during our visit to Moab. The house was well kept, clean and stocked with everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. The fact that it was pet friendly was a huge plus! Plenty of beds and bathrooms for our group and we also enjoyed the backyard space which has a beautiful view.

Awesome home for family gathwring
This well appointed home is perfect for a family gathering or group. Very clean and has everything. Yard and barbecue worked out well. Rooms were comfortable and we will come back again!

Peaceful little getaway
It was far out of the town of Moab, but was quiet and very spacious. The only problem we had was the floor was very sticky upon arrival.

Great hiking getaway
The house was great for our group of 5 senior citizen guys for a week of good hiking and frolic. The bed in one of the bedrooms was reportedly uncomfortable.

A few minor issues, but still great.
The house is great. Plenty of room and nice, but it could use a more detailed cleaning than what Vacasa(who actually manages the property)is doing and it’s about 15 minutes from town by the time you actually get into the neighborhood. The TV is definitely a pain to get going and because the internet is spotty, even if you connect to your account, it will go in and out. The hot tub was too hot for most of our group, even though we did make sure the thermostat was left in as instructed, so most of our group couldn’t use it even though that was a big part of us renting the property. Overall though, we had a great time!

Nice house
The house is well maintained, presentable and makes our 4 days stay very comfortable

Nice but not as private as pictures make it seem
I read previous reviews before booking this house, hoped the issues other people had would have been resolved, but the tv issue was still the same and no direction on how to do it. Hot tub overheated the entire time so could not use. Would have been nice to have some firewood for the fire pit so bring your own.
Overall it was nice just not as great as thought would be for that price.

Large house, gorgeous views
Stayed here with my father and brother while doing some hiking around Moab. It was a great location for that, and we appreciated the hot tub afterwards. Wish we could have stayed longer. Only issues were relatively minor, but we did have some trouble with the front door latch, which was not a big deal for a household of handy people but might pose someone else a problem.

Could be a really good rental, but...
We stayed in this house for 18 nights in October to virtual school/work.
The Positives: The outside of this house is great. The views, the fire pit, grill, hot tub, the porch, yard and parking were all very good. Inside, the beds and the LR furniture was all comfortable.
The Negatives: The layout of this house is a little strange. The Great Room (Kitchen and Living Room) really only has one small window. It's a shame because the house has such great views. Also, the bed distribution is strange. MBs all have queens while the rooms that share the hall bath have kings.
What's frustrating about this house is all the little things that could so easily be fixed. The house is priced as a premium property but so many things are low rent. The coffee maker is terrible; there are lots of great TVs, but no cable service; all light bulbs are low quality CFL (harsh light); inadequate glass/dishware/cookware; no hot tub towels; all pantries are locked, so there is no place to store food.
It feels that simple $500 trip to Walmart could dramatically improve this house.
Also, the rental agency is not great. Vacasa seems to function as some sort of virtual agency with limited resources in town. Questions pre-booking were either left unanswered or were answered by an agent located in Oregon with no personal knowledge of property. When trying to resolve property issues, you have to deal through an 800 #. It was painful. The owner should consider changing to a local agency that can provide a higher level service that is aligned with the price of the property.
Other than the layout, the issues with the property are easily resolved. If those things were resolved, I would rent this property again.
