Delightful Devon
Everything went very smoothly and we had a lovely stay . Very well appointed and the description of Coast House was very accurate. Fabulous view from the terrace which we enjoyed, very nice kitchen.

Fantastic Location
We spent a lovely week at Mortehoe. The cottage is in a perfect location with views of the sheep one side and the stunning coastline the other! Hearing the waves lapping was true bliss! My grownup kids spent their days surfing in the secluded bays or at Woolacombe. The coastal pathway was outside your door so we enjoyed beautiful walks in both directions to Lee Bay and Croyde. The cottage is well set out with three floors, so had plenty of room for us all and had everything you need for a perfect holiday. We can highly recommend The Rock Inn, Georgeham and for a beautiful coastal walk to Lee Bay , The Grampus Inn for lunch. Would highly recommend the cottage for a relaxing break away!

Exceeded expectations
The photos of this house do not do it justice. The views from the terrace overlooking the ocean were amazing. A proper sun trap. We ate, drank and had barbecues out there most days when the weather permitted. As a family of five, the house had everything we needed. Four of us were remote working during our stay, and the WIFI handled it fine. We also liked being across three floors, which felt private and spacious. The location was perfect. A five minute walk up the hill to the two pubs, tea room and fish and chip shop in Mortehoe, and ten minutes down the hill to Wollacombe. The house is also right on the coastal path, so you can walk straight out of the property along the coastline for stunning walks and runs. And seals! We’d been to Mortehoe before, so were aware of the steep hill and parking and it didn’t pose a problem for us.

A Little Gem
What a lovely cottage! Everything we could need for a family holiday.
Stunning location on the cliffs, walking distance to beautiful beaches. It is on a steep hill between Woolacombe and Mortehoe, some people may prefer to drive to the beaches.
The cottage was spotless and Norah was a lovely host, keeping in touch to check we had everything we needed.
Can’t wait to go back!

Lovely location
The house is in a wonderful location, just on the sw coast path with a wonderful coastal walk literally on your doorstep. Also a 15 min walk down the hill to woolacombe to the beach. The house is well equipped, was a nice size and was very clean, which is important at this time. Norah was extremely responsive to any questions. The view to the front of the property was amazing and if you’re lucky may see some great sunsets. There is a car park to the left which is a shame but you do get used to it. Would def recommend this place, if only for the location - we had a fabulous week.

Great location and accommodation - pity about the parking issues!
House and views amazing. Just the parking ... really need to sort
size of parking spaces and 'a gentleman's agreement' on who parks where, I don't think so ...

Stunning views, relaxing, peaceful, lovely coastal walks and icing on the cake was seeing the seals, we would come back. Property had everything you needed but would be good to let people know they have to pay for the car park in Mortehoe,if they have more than one car.

The inside of this place is really surprising, great layout, enough space and decent spec.
The picnic bench in the garden looking out to sea and the sunset was just perfect. Norah was great and i’d Stay here again and again and recommend this place.

Lovely property with amazing views.
Stayed here with husband, daughter, son in law and granddaughters. The house was big enough to accommodate us all with ease. Having two bathrooms was a bonus. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It would be useful to have a broom or a vacuum cleaner available rather than making do with the dustpan and brush.
It is a short walk to Mortehoe village however those with limited mobility may find the walk a challenge as it is up a very steep hill. There are two pubs in the village both of which are very popular and we found eating here difficult as there were queues for tables and no booking possible. Woolacombe is the other direction and about 15 mins walk downhill. The take away in the village was amazing and I would definitely recommend this. There is a parking space outside the property which is useful but as we had two cars it involved one being parked in the village car park. The walks from just outside the property were spectacular.
We had young children with us and In hindsight the position of the house was not ideal as a pushchair was not really useable and trips out either involved the 15 month old being carried in a sling or going in the car. Despite this we had an enjoyable holiday in a spectacular location.

Very well presented property
We just spent 5 nights at Coast House and it was lovely. The views over the coastline are stunning and was so good to be able to walk to the beaches. The house itself has everything you need for a very comfortable stay.
The teenagers appreciated the excellent WiFi and it was great to have a second bathroom.
Would have no hesitation recommending this property and coming back for another stay.
