We really enjoyed our stay in this warm, large and comfortable house. There was parking for 2 cars outside the house and the ability to park another outside the next house. We enjoyed the hot tub but being a winter holiday we didn’t get chance to use the sun loungers. Well equipped kitchen and quality bedding. It’s a steep climb up the hill from the beach and 17 steps to the house so not for those with walking disabilities, but rewarded by fantastic beach views. We didn’t have any issues with the climb and the steps as we are quite fit senior citizens and hope to return again.

We loved our visit to Coast view.
Brilliant location to visit with 3 Babies under two and a teenager.
House clean and comfortable and plenty of space for us all.
Wonderful to have beach on the doorstep and the wonderful garden to the rear.
Only two negatives would have loved a bigger fridge and the sun beds needed a bit of a clean.
But these are small things and really would not deter us from visiting again. Thank you My Favourite Cottages you were helpful, informative and nothing was too much trouble.
Always quick to respond to any queries and we’re always so professional.

We found Coast View to be cozy, clean, well equipped and everything we were hoping it would be for our family get away.
The house is finished to a high standard, the bedrooms all comfortable and clean, and the kitchen had all the utensils and equipment we needed during our break.
The hot tub was a real bonus and was well maintained during our stay.

Coast view, more than anything is about location. The views are incredible and Woolacombe town and beaches are a very short distance away (albeit with a bit of a hill).
The property is well stocked with equipment and facilities, spacious and has some lovely spaces to while away the hours.
Not much to criticise other than an early morning wake up (7:30am) when the gardeners arrived to cut the grass, but it gave us more time on the beach!

Thoroughly enjoyable week with family in spacious accommodation with excellent facilities, clean and tidy and would recommend this property.

We had a family holiday here - 10 adults/children and a dog. The property is in a brilliant location for access to the beach, coastal walks, pubs and there is even crazy golf and a small cinema 8 mins from the front door!
The hot tub has lovely views over the stunning, sandy beach (bring your buckets and spades) and the views from many of the bedroom windows are superb! The kitchen is modern and open plan and there are plenty of showers for everyone to use! There is a spacious lounge and there is also a snug which our children used as their den/games room. Perfect!
Whilst we were there the gardener paid a visit, the window cleaners popped round and the hot tub maintenance man visted every other day to check the pH levels and filters, showing that the owners clearly look after the property for their visitors.
We would all highly recommend this property for a group gathering. Woolacombe is a stunning part of Devon - so tranquil, pretty and relaxing. A great place for families.
The only thing to be aware of is that there are only 2 car parking spaces allocated to the house. Being out of season we did find a couple of spaces on the road that weren't being used (the whole street is allocated to the houses along it, with 2 or 3 spaces per property). I imagine that if you came in peak season though you would have to use the payable car park 8 mins drive (30 mins) walk from the house.

Amazing house right by the beach!
My family (6 adults and 3 children age 16, 13 and 7 and our dog Millie) recently stayed at Coast View over the Easter break.
We stayed a week and loved every single bit of our stay at Coast View.
It was fully equipped with everything we needed, we especially liked the fact that there was lots of glasses, cups, plates, cutlery and not limited to 10. All the beds were comfortable and there was enough towels for everybody, including towels to be used for the hot tub.
There was plenty of space for people to have their own space if needed. My son really enjoyed the little snug area in the kitchen!!
The accommodation was spotlessly clean.
The fenced garden was perfect for dogs and the hot tub on the patio with the views was spectacular.
Woolacombe Beach is approximately 5 minutes walk down, but probably 10 minutes walk back up the hill!!!
Coast View is in a great location in Woolacombe with everything within walking distance - great fish & chip shop, crazy golf, amusements, pubs. We absolutely loved the food in The Jube, would highly recommend.
We would highly recommend Coast View and would love to go back another time.

A perfect escape
Outstanding views especially during storm Eunice, an excellent warm, dry, vantage point to watch the dramatic waves! Perfect location for beach and hill walking. Wonderfully spacious, comfortable, very clean and well maintained. Not a complaint and generally, very well equipped but if looking to improve would appreciate more serving bowls, and basic cleaning solutions/kitchen roll to help maintain hygiene without having to buy lots of things whilst we were there. Could have done with some spare light bulbs, it seemed like a silly thing to call someone out for when I could have changed it myself. Thank you for making our family welcome.

Amazing house in an amazing location
We've just had the best long weekend at Coast View - it was for my husbands 50th birthday and it really did tick all the boxes - every room had amazing sea views, it is set up for the sea life with the drying room and the 2 shower rooms downstairs - looking over the sea in the hot tub - very dog friendly garden and patio areas - beds were comfy - very stylish decor - just a walk from the beach - couldn't have asked for a better house in a better location.

Amazing views!
Fabulous location. A lovely comfortable, well maintained house. Hot tub with super views. Ideal for dogs as garden fully enclosed with a gate to open countryside and footpaths at the rear. Very convenient for the beach and shops. Will certainly book again!

family holiday
a Lovely property in good location for beach, parking for more than two cars difficult. A gate from the top area would be very useful as difficult to stop toddlers from racing towards steps with the potential of a fall down them. For anyone not very technical better instructions for TVs would be good three tvs two remote controls. Recycling instructions did not correspond to the the bags/boxes outside there was no food caddy.
for young children not needing high chair or to big for the very small Childs table and for any not very tall adult the chairs round the kitchen table were very low.
There was a very large infestation of flying ants in the inside of the main door into property which should have been noticed by the cleaning team and treated.
It was a rush to get out by 9.00 with a two year old who was on that morning not being very cooperative with eating breakfast. Welcome book said 10.00 to leave arrive 4.00 so a bit confusing
we paid top price for extra luxuries which had been removed due to covid which may be understandable but could have been overcome

Wonderful!
An absolutely stunning, luxurious and spacious property with incredible coastal views and only five minutes walk to the beach. Perfect for our family of five adults and five grandchildren aged 5-10. Owners have put so much care and attention into every detail to make it a truly wonderful holiday home. The hot tub was a huge hit as was toasting marshmallows on the fire pit at the end of each day! Yes, there are steps to the property but so worth it for the views. Car parking on a private road a real bonus as was easy access to shops and restaurants. Already booked to return but not surprisingly we will have wait until school holidays 2023 as 2022 already full.

Even better than expected!
We couldn’t fault anything about the property at all. The photos and descriptions we had see beforehand really didn’t do the property justice! My main worry having a toddler and 2 dogs was that the outside areas weren’t safe/secure. Both the front and back garden/terrace were fully secure, which was very reassuring, although if your toddler is wild like mine, there are a few steps/steep bits to be aware of! The fixed baby gates on the indoors staircases offered further reassurance. Each room was decorated beautifully, and was immaculately clean. The beds and furniture were all really comfy. The view from the hot tub was just beautiful. The property is huge. We were so excited to arrive and explore, and were incredibly sad to leave! We hope to be back in the future! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our holiday at Coast view,
excellent views really good location plenty of room for everyone, everything you need in the kitchen also having three televisions saved any arguments over what to watch, the hot tub was excellent after a long walk on the beach.

Great place to stay
Great place to stay. Well located close to beach and woolacombe village. Stunning views across the bay and out to sea.
Comfortable accommodation, would recommend for a family or large group.
Hot tub was a favourite.

Coastal View
The property itself is lovely but the steep steps without handrails leading up to the house make it unsuitable for elderly and young children.
The balcony attached to the 2nd bedroom is quite dangerous. The railings are missing and have been replaced by wooden boarding.

Lovely big house with a stunning view!!
6 family members, ages 57 down to 2 years stayed for 6 nights, very comfortable beds, lots of space and a fantastic view. Hot tub on patio overlooking the beach is fabulous. Lounge could have done with more comfy chairs, ok for 6 but would have been a bit of a problem with more adults and it's the first time we've stayed somewhere with a log burner that wasn't made up ready for first use or any logs supplied. Also the dining table is too high for the dining chairs especially for shorties like myself lol. One of the downstairs shower rooms doesn't have a WC as stated but enough to go around and the property is not suitable for less able bodied as there were lots of steps. We spent many an hour sat in the conservatory watching the sea when the weather wasn't nice enough to sit on the patio, however we were quite lucky that we only had 2 days spoiled by rain. Had some fantastic walks with amazing views, the area never disappoints.
Would we visit again? Definately!

Family holiday with children and grandchildren
At long last our long awaited holiday, booked in Sept 2019, arrived. We were disappointed to loose 3 hours off our holiady due to covid restrictions. The directions given were accurate and we arrived more or less together. Parking was tight but we had 3 cars. Lot of steps up to the house but got used to these throughout the week. Inside was spacious and airy with all good appliances in the kitchen and laundry room. Should say the door lining of the microwave has a fault that needs action.
The bedrooms were as advertised and comfortable though the top floor was very hot even with the windows open. Think the adult room there should have a safety lock on like the children's room.
We had a great week in Woolacoombe taking part in Surf school and horse riding and lots of dog walking.
There was no key to the downstairs shower room with access from the garden making hosing down wetsuits and sand shoes difficult having to use the back door to carry wetsuits to hang in the laundry room. This made the floor wet which became slippery causing some accidents.
The enclosed rear garden was great for the dogs but would like to add the front area could have benifited from having a gate installed to stop children and dogs escaping onto the road. Was a rush to get packed up and out by 9am on our departure day.
Overall we had a great holiday and might try to come again when we can get a slot in 2022.

STUNNING HOUSE JUST STEPS AWAY FROM WOOLACOMBE BEACH
We spent Christmas at Coast View and were thrilled with the property, location and of course wonderful Woolacombe. The property was furnished to a high spec and had all the amenities 9 people required. Would totally recommend this property if you are looking for a large house in Woolacombe that is local to the town and beach. The views from the property overlooking the beach and the downs is another big plus just a pity we couldn't enjoy them from the hot tub due to the weather.

Highly Recommended, we cant wait to return
Firstly the location is amazing with great sea view's of the wonderful Woolacombe beach from the outside terracing, Bedroom, sitting area, Games room and Sitting room, and only a short walk from Barricane Beach, which is our favourite to escape to, and also the local shops, pub's and restaurants.
The quality of the furnishings is first class and Contemporary in nature with everything we could have hoped for from a Let including towels , toiletries and even toilet paper provided.
We could not fault this wonderfully, spacious family home and will certainly be paying another visit or two without question.
Thank you to everyone who made this stay so special

Just wow!
We booked Coast View as a last minute alternative to our planned camping trip and we loved it!
4 adults with 4 children aged 6 and under, the house was just perfect to accommodate us all comfortably (and with one room to spare).
Fantastic light, airy and well appointed living area along with kitchen and dining room space ensured everyone had their own space during our week long stay.
Bedrooms were all well decorated and comfy - the front bedroom has a fabulous view of the bay, perfect for a quiet morning cuppa while the kids were (still!) asleep.
The children loved the games room at the end of the property (along with the games provided there) and it meant they could spread all their toys out without the dreaded end of day tidy up every night!
Two downstairs shower rooms (one with w/c) plus an extra w/c off the kitchen worked well - clean and tidy with lovely hot showers every day.
The utility room was useful to wash and dry off clothes from all our visits to the beach.
House was equipped with pretty much everything we needed, from kitchen utensils (including full plastic sets for the kids, picnic items and gin glasses to good sized pots and pans).
Useful additions to the house added a family friendly feel - stair gates on all levels, toddler steps in main bathroom, night light on landing area and bed guard rail in the bunk bed room.
BBQ on the terrace is a must, great sunset view of Lundy Island made a magical backdrop to our last evening. Plus the hot tub for the adults to relax in after a tough day at the beach or "The Big Sheep".
Prompt and efficient communication from owner and cleaner made our arrival and departure very easy (lovely to be greeted by a Devon cream tea selection, thanks!)
Lots to do in Woolacombe and surrounding area - we visited the main Woolacombe Bay beach (10 min walk with the kids and beach trolley) a number of times as we all loved it so much. Good waves for body boarding, rock pools to explore, chip van, shops and toilets all nearby. Watch out for the seagulls who are very partial to an ice cream/any food!
Electric Bar was great for evening meal and drinks, staff great and pizzas amazing.
We visited The Big Sheep farm - great day out if weather not too great for whole family. We also hired bikes and went along the Tarka Trail. Hire shop in Barnstaple can be very busy so would definitely recommend booking or there is another in Bideford, with easy access onto the trail and lots of pubs to stop at for lunch.
All in all a fantastic trip away.
We could go on, but you should just book and see for yourselves!
