Great location, really central in Old Town.
Whilst it didn’t affect us, there are about 8 flights of stairs up to the property. The host when contacted was unable to set up the sofa bed, (as we were two friends), we had to change the booking to 3 people. The bottom sheet on the sofa bed kept pulling off constantly (maybe a shrunk sheet, or not right size sheet?) which was annoying. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest.

Amazing location in the Nice old town with a range of restaurants, shops and very close to the beach. We loved the French style of the buildings and the vibe of the neighbourhood. The apartment also had everything we needed to make our own breakfast and wash our clothes.
Nothing to point out.

Perfect location, very clean apartment
The dish washer was broken and the air-conditioning is very low

I stayed here with a group of friends and everything was just perfect! Super clean, right in the centre and there was even a washing machine we could use. Very much enjoyed our stay and we would a 100% book here again

Great arrival information provided. Fab location, very central.
It doesn’t mention online that this property is up 70 stairs ! Which wasn’t a huge problem for me, however it was an inconvenience having to carry a >25 kg bag up and down the stairs myself. Not a good location for those with mobility issues or for those travelling with hold luggage.

location
comfy bed
decent sized bathroom
modern kitchen
bathroom door wouldn’t shut
one door of the wardrobe had come off its runner & glass was cracked at the bottom
one of the window blinds kept falling off the wall
sofa was incredibly uncomfortable. The seats kept moving forward leaving a big gap at the back ( it’s a sofa bed)
but the worst thing was that we arrived to find that the hallway & all the walls up the stairs were being replastered! there was plaster dust everywhere, we could even taste it. We had to negotiate men up ladders as they went about their plastering with blobs dropping all over the place. when I raised this with the owner they apologised but said they hadn’t been informed. There were 2 notices pinned up in the entrance hall advising that the work was to commence on Mon 16.1.23.
This considerable inconvenience probably made the other more minor issues more irritating than they normally would have been.

The location is beautiful, near the cathedral.
The apartment is in an interesting and very old building. It has a nice view over the cathedral.
It is very spacious. The WIFI was good.
The floor is hilly and creaking. We had issues with the water drain in the shower. Many small things were missing: a decent knife for apples, a pot with handles, a fourth mug for tea, a second wine glass, etc. The heating was not turned on before we arrived (January), so the first night we were freezing. I was charged differently than Booking wrote (I paid everything at reservation and nothing at the property, while taxes were supposed to be paid at the property).

Location and the apartment.
Aged travellers should be made aware of the 71 steps to the apartment.

The location is great - in the old town and close to the promenade. The apartment is spacious and good value for money. A few wee touches - like fixing the blinds, would make it even better.
The 71 fairly steep stairs up to the apartment were a bit of a trial, although it did mean that there were better views out of some of the windows. There was a bit of an odour at times on the staircase also. The sofa/sofabed was not comfortable to sit on.

The location is quite good in the heart of Old Nice, many stories above Place Rossetti. There are good restaurants right outside the entry. The apartment was clean and the bathroom sizable and functions well.
The entrance is dirty and obstructed with junk leading to the 71 steep stairs to this apartment. It is a very long haul to heave luggage up such a winding stair. The kitchen is not very well equipped. The bed is not wide enough for two large people. The sofa is uncomfortable. Given only two mildew smelling bath towels and one hand towel. Have to haul your own garbage out after your stay. All the window blinds were bent and askew.

Excellent location
The dish washer should be fixed. Reading previous comments it’s been out of order for long time. Yet flat is advertised as having a dishwasher when placing booking. However, we were warned just before arriving that it wasn’t working.
Very squeaky sofa bed in sitting room.

Amazing location in amongst the buzz of the Cathedral and Nice Old Town. Great for restaurants, cafes and shops and close to beach too!
Entrance and stairs old, steep and bad odours.
General lack of mugs and glasses in kitchen.

It’s central location in the Old Town was fantastic, the area has a lovely atmosphere, close to the beach and the local people were very friendly.
All the facilities for an enjoyable stay.
The stairs were quite hard with luggage.

the location was great, the size of the unit was very spacious and had everything we needed
the million stairs up, more like 6 floors up, the place was a bit dusty and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable but it was good for 1 night

The position, in the hearth of Old Nice. The apartment is pretty enough, needs some improvements in furniture in the living room, but the positioning makes up for it. The bed in the bedroom is very comfy, you can fall asleep right away.
The fact we were told we needed to pay extra for sleeping on the couch, even though this wasn't mentioned in the reservation details.

Location, AC
Host came in the apartment although it was agreed to not enter but leave the sheets in front of the door.
Wanted extra cash for using the sofa bed (we booked it specifically because we are two friends not a couple). Not very friendly host.
Impossible to have video calls (3mbit only and with interruptions).

Pillows could be more comfortable

It's comfortable; well appointed.
Spacious.
In a great area.
Good lighting.
Sunny.
Well lit communal spaces.
Good food preparation area.
A few minor things need attention; none that compromise the accommodation in any way.

Apartment was very clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable and the sofa bed was too. Location is great as it is close to the beach and many bars and shops. Air con was a massive plus and was such a relief after a hot day!
Unfortunately there is no lift and the property is up 4 flights of stairs. Dishwasher was out of order, but only a minor point.

Excellent apartment! Comfy! Highly recommend. The host is easily available by mail or phone. You will get very clear instructions how to get the key etc by e-mail in advance. Electric oven, washer and dishwasher is a big plus. Nice design. It's pleasant to stay there. I recommend a big Monoprix about 15 minutes away. Nice choice of food including a seafood. In about 25 minutes away (close to Nice Riquier railway station) there is a huge Carrefour with oysters 4.99e a dozen!
You need to be a bit sporty to get to the apartment (about fourth floor). No elevator. Electric towel dryer was not working. I hope it'll be fixed soon!
8.3 / 10.0
Very nice location in the heart of the Old Town. Very nice apartment and well equipped. The host answers immediately on your emails.
If the two guest are not a couple the apartment is not ideal, because the couch is very uncomfortable to sleep. Also, the nearest train station (Riquier) is 25' walk. Finally, the check in is late (after 15.00) and the check out is early (until 11.00), which is very inconvenient.
