Mitten im Geschehen und trotzdem ruhig.

Das Hotel hat eine superzentrale Lage, es ist jedoch trotzdem ruhig, da es sich im Fußgängerzonen-Bereich befindet. Wenn man mit dem Auto anreist ist ein öffentliches Parkhaus in unmittelbarer Nähe (Tagespreis ca. 34€). Das Zimmer war gemütlich eingerichtet und das Bad war in einem sehr guten, modernisierten Zustand. Die Betten waren bequem und die Fenster ließen sich komplett zum Hinterhof öffnen. Die generelle Inneneinrichtung der Zimmer ist eher nüchtern, dafür der Lobbybereich sehr einladend. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich. Das Frühstück kann ich nicht beurteilen, da ich es nicht mit gebucht hatte.

Five nights in Haarlem

What can I say but go here instead of Amsterdam, and specifically this hotel over any other. Might be a ten minute walk from the train, but honestly, that's desired as the hotel is in the best possible location within the city center. Close to anything one might ever consider needing, from plethora of groceries to toys, clothes and restaurants. Probably the best place I've ever visited as a tourist, with an exceptional hotel at that.

The electric bikes in the city are a bit frightening, but apart from that, there is nothing to subtract from the experience.

Nice breakfast. Not great otherwise and overpriced.

The breakfast was nice and had a good selection and the staff at breakfast where very nice. The location was pretty good.

There was a broken shower, broken hand rail, ( they did fix shower as it wouldn't work) also found items under the bed from previous people who stayed there, so wasn't cleaned well. The beds were very uncomfortable. On the second day our room was left open and the safe was opened while we were out the room!! Nothing was missing but the door was open anyone could have walked in and our safe code was changed. Reception didn't really care when asked they said the cleaner didn't lock the door properly and it happens! I then asked why was the safe was open thenand there reply was "that they clean the safe sometimes" !!!!! not great and never ever has a cleaner cleaned the safe when in use! No real apologie. It was also so loud at night with the Church bells and on road noise.

The room was really cozy with a very comfortable bed. Nice big bathroom also and good breakfast

Clean, comfortable, black out curtains, great location, and helpful/friendly staff. The room and bathroom were a good size and the elevator was appreciated. The air conditioning didn’t work great, but helped some at least. The water refill stations were a nice addition too so you can just refill your bottles.

-The air condition was bad and hot in room in the middle from 319 to 325, and i changed my room twice. -There is no parking for cars. - They don't have any Arabic Tv channels. - I asked them for free late check out and they agree for me until 3 pm, but in the next day they Saied you have to pat 25 euro for each our ?!!

I liked my room very much. I had no breakfast at the hotel. I had to walk a little from the train station, but nice views in between.

Just the location of the hotel and the distance to the train station was my only problem.

Charming and friendly, well located but double check the Aircon is working before you book.

Great location, friendly staff, very comfortable

Air conditioning not working throughout the hotel, there were fans everywhere but it was hot and steamy. This is a major drawback and needs to be addressed urgently

Great experience. We booked additional days both before and after our Smithsonian tour.

Located next to church and close to many great restaurants.

Beds were comfortable but soft. Located one mile from central train station, but easy walk or $12 taxi ride.

Good location, clean, very nice helpful staff

The only complaint is the glass bathroom door. Felt there was no privacy since it a little more than a shower door, practically see through!

I used to stay in the Amrath Hotel in Alkmaar, this was my first stay at the Haarlem hotel, brilliant, would be my first choice in AHaarlem

We enjoyed our stay and the room

The location was very convenient (next to underground parking, and very close to the city center, and with good restaurant inside/below the hotel); the hotel room was very clean and beds were ok.

The airco was not working properly (hence staff had placed ventilators in the rooms and corridors, but these are only circulating air, not cooling). In case the airco would work, I think the price of the room would have been fair.
