Breakfast, staff and location great
Rooms on the side of the ramp. Felt excluded and underclassed. Bathrooms uncomfortable and in great need of refurbishment. Lifts too.

Location was great. Restaurant had lovely meals and breakfast vast variety and until 11.00am.
Complimentary wine and biscuits
Most photos on booking.com are of main hotel , not Palazzo Santa Caterina where our room was. Even though we complained of air conditioning twice and staff were prompt to attend we still slept with wet towels around our necks and forehead as air conditioning wasn't functioning properly steep walk up and down to room too so if you have mobility issues make sure you are booked in the main part of hotel. Bar fridge also want cold.

the location and the outside area of the pool were lovely. breakfast plentiful! staff lovely and very accomodating
the rooms are a little old and tired and the linen smelt a bit of dust. unfortunately the air conditioner isn’t turned on until June so it was quite warm in the room. They did accomodate us however with a fan.
4.5
Good accommodation for the price with great location and parking if booked in advance. It is recommended to reserve a room with a sea view in advance.
Sound insulation between hotel rooms could have been better.
2.5
location and outdoor area, parking, valet service
super dated, needs a refurbish immediately!
breakfast was poor.

Friendly staff (except one rude cleaning lady), nice breakfast and nice views. Convenient parking
Outdated, small rooms, awful mattresses. You can hear everything happening in the next room, and there are loud noises in the bathroom as an effect of other rooms flushing. A bit of a walk/climb to get to the city, you can probably find better value somewhere else

Breakfast was wonderful, room was very comfortable
Towels were limited

Location was better than expected. The hotel has an elevator which takes you up and down to the center which is literally next to the bus station. The beds were comfortable, and breakfast quite satisfactory. Some parts of the hotel (outside) were quite modern, specially the tunnel through the center, but the hotel itself was quite outdated,it needs new furniture.
We were technically upgraded to a seaview room, but we kinda wish we weren't. As it was just a one night stay we didn't complaint but the location of the room was horrible. Just above the entrance so a lot of noise from the outside (very poor noise isolation), and we could hear the water running through the pipes during the entire stay. Ok for one night, but not for more.

Loved our stay at Hotel Ariston. Pool area and terrace stunning with gorgeous views to ocean. Live music on the terrace lovely for sunset drinks. Large breakfast. Great location close to town and beach. Highly recommend.

All the staff were exceptional, always with a smile and super helpful. Breakfast had a small variety but was good and staff gave us breakfast on arrival day as we arrived early morning. The view from the grounds are breathtaking.
The fact that the room had a glass door and not a normal door and there were markings on the wall. But on the whole it was good. The pool unfortunately is open from 09:30-18:30.

Reception staff were very kind and super helpful
The pool bar was very basic. Not mant choices and the guy behind the bar was quite rude

i liked the location, the outside environment was really nice, and the views
cleanliness was basic (only linens and towels were clean) room not very clean you could notice dirty surfaces everywhere in the room.
WALLS WERE SO THIN AND ISOLATION SO BAD THAT TURNED OUR NIGHTS IN NIGHTMARES. you could hear everything from room neighbors, corridors and restaurant.
also room was very old and not well maintained.
overall would not return to this hotel, for which im sorry considering that its location and views were great.

Hotel is a little dated. Really hard to find the entrance with and car park with Google maps, but easy once you know. Disappointed with not being told it was another $20 euro per night to park next door- should be included in quoted price on bookings.com - not to far from old town and a good hearty walk down to the beach and then east walk back from the fernikula when you come back up. Would probably choose somewhere else next time, but reasonable value for money.
Aircon was crap- but service man did come and change the filter but still super noisy.

Parts of the hotel may benefit from an upgrade but was not an issue at all

most of the staff were really friendly and helpful

Great location, rooms are a little dated but clean.
Pool closed early. could do with updating, better sun beds and bar area. Breakfast could do with being a little better, more choice needed.
