Location and staff were very helpful.
Nothing really

The breakfast was excellent, the breakfast room was small but delightful with a magnificent view. While our room did not have a view our small private courtyard was lovely. From the moment we arrived until we left we were made to feel welcome and valued.
The lighting in the room and hotel could have been brighter
A full length mirror in the bedroom would be good

This adorable and charming hotel is located in the perfect Taormina location. It's just steps away from shopping and restaurants. The breakfast room has a wonderful view of the sea and Mt. Etna as well as great food and coffee. The personalized service we received while staying at the hotel was amazing. The concierge made dinner reservations for us at the most delicious local restaurants for us each night (Trattoria Tiramisu was our fav!). Overall, great experience staying at Hotel Villa Taormina.
Finding the hotel by car was a little tricky, but if you follow the directions to the Baddia Vecchia someone from the hotel will meet you and drive the car to the hotel.

I am very happy we did book this hotel. From the arrival to valet parking to check in with a welcome drink, everything was smooth. We were very happy staying at this hotel. The room we booked has a good space. The sheets were luxurious, I am very particular with the thread count. The luxurious Ortigia scent is all throughout the property and of course its bath line is being used by the hotel. The breakfast location is amazing, you have the 90 degrees view of the sea and the spread of choices is enough. Everything is locally made which is unfortunate for us that we cant buy the lime and orange jam that they served because it is delicious. The inner courtyard garden was a surprise. The location of this property is perfect. You will feel at home on this place, the people working at this property is very hospitable. We would love to come back and stay more!
Nothing, we love everything.

The staff were lovely
The location is a little bit too far from the centre of town for us
They gave us a garden room which is not what we requested - after one night they moved us to the main hotel building
No swimming pool, which was a must with the heatwave in Italy at the time

Breakfast was very nice, with a perfect view! Location in the middle of the town made it easy to move around. The jacuzzi was a good option for a pool, and the staff was very helpful!

the staff were very friendly and helpful.
they didn’t have water for sometime but that wasnt they’re fault, it was due to wildfires in the surrounding area

The hotel itself was beautiful and the location was quiet. We arrived a little early but they were ready for us. I really appreciated the WhatsApp messages so we could get the details of where to park and easily stay in contact. Room was beautiful and so was the terrace.
All was good.

Gorgeous little boutique hotel in an old renovated villa, with very comfortable, luxurious rooms and modern bathrooms. Rooms are decorated with lovely, individual touches, and there are good quality toiletries provided. The bed was very comfortable, with big, soft pillows. Breakfast was served upstairs with a view over the town and towards Mount Etna, with everything freshly prepared. What really made it such a perfect stay through was the friendliness of the staff, who were wonderful and friendly throughout.
Nothing could have been improved on.

location was great.
Our King Suite was one of the two adjoining located outside the villa in the garden. The walls are paper thin between the two. Conversations can be clearly heard and its disturbing late at night. Our room was the first of the two and we needed to keep curtains closed at all times for privacy as the second room was accessed by walking past our window. The room was dark. The room felt like a garage that had been converted. If you reserve rooms at the Villa, these rooms should be avoided

The total experience - from the attentive staff to the ambience of the whole building was amazing. There was carious patio for you to enjoy the quiet and sunshine and the terrace for breakfast had views of the sea and Mount Etna
Parking was a challenge so we had to utilise th services of the hotel staff but a minor point really

Staying at Villa Taormina was like being with family and good friends. It is a small hotel and very well run. The breakfast is delicious and is on a beautiful terrace with the view of Aetna. Throughout the hotel you see nice art, but it feels like you got invited into someone’s home. . The location is excellent. Close to walk anywhere. The two dinner recommendations we received from the hotel were both wonderful. They care about their guests being happy and comfortable. We can highly recommend staying there.
The room itself was nice. The floor is tiled and therefore in April not the warmest to walk on. I do understand though that it will be nice in the heat of the summer. We had a “room with a view” but we had to get out on the small terrace and climb up a three steps in order to look out to see anything.

Paulo and his colleagues were so helpful and welcoming. They shared their enthusiasm for Taormina and made our stay as easy as possible. The hotel is elegant with great views and lovely rooms. The terrace has good views too and an evening G&T there was a definite treat.

Elegant 12-room boutique hotel with exceptional garden and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Close to downtown, yet secluded and quiet.
Small room for what was marketed as a Junior Suite. (“Double Room with a couch” would have been a better description, but staff accommodated us at check-in to change us to the largest such room.)

the property was so quaint with lovely gardens and over looks of the city and Mount Etna. the staff was extremely friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. Elena was particularly helpful with providing suggestions for places to visit and restaurants. She made sure to take her time with orienting us to the area. She was always helpful with making reservations for us for dinner. She also arranged for a boat tour of Isola bella for us when there were very few people offering this activity during the off season. All staff were very kind and helpful. overall, we are extremely happy to have stayed here!
I did not like that we could not use the AC. even though it was winter, it was a little too warm in our room in the evenings unless we left the doors completely open, then it would get too cold in the middle of the night. also we could not use the jacuzzi.
