Beautiful property that is well kept. Location is helpful for sightseeing and for starting Camino Ingles. Twin room was very nice. The veranda above the front door was a highlight. Breakfast was very good and varied.
Really can’t come up with anything significant.

The purpose of the stay was to undertake the Camino Ingles. The location of the hotel was located at the edge of town which was fine as to coincide with the starting point of the Camino.
The cleanliness and standard of the rooms could not be faulted. The staff were friendly and helped when asked.
The cost of the rooms was not the cheapest. We opted for a 2-day stay after we arrived by train from Santiago de Compostela.
Both my son and I were looking forward to our breakfast in the morning. It was waiter service and we got off to a good start. Sadly, the selection was poor and the coffee served was cool and not hot. The choice was not what you would expect for the standard you are paying for.
We walked the length and breadth of the town and there are few things to see and do other than coffee shops. Restaurants were few and far between and dinner was never served until 8 pm. We ended up eating a snack at the hotel which was not the best. The quality and standard of food was not good.

Excellent stay at the Parador. Lovely place with old world charm. Our room was quite large, and very comfortable. Location on the Camino Ingles was perfect. Staff members were helpful and kind.
Hours of food service in the restaurant weren’t ideal, but that’s generally a Spain thing. Otherwise all was well.

The location was excellent. The staff was very helpful (my luggage arrived the next day) and the breakfast was really good. I can only recommend to stay there.

beautiful property. great location. friendly staff. great restaurant/cafe.
pillows were too hard.
No AC.

Nice old house in a great location to start the Camino de Santiago from Ferrol. Clean and comfortable.
Our 2 rooms were at the back and mine was very quiet but in the other one my family slept very little because of the noise from people walking about and wheeling cases at night. The floors are wooden and the sound carries.
I was a bit disappointed at the quality of the shampoo and shower gel. It may be a 3-star hotel but that's unusual in a Parador.

The parking lot was full. Difficult to park the car without employers assistant.

It was a pleasant surprise when we eventually found the Parador. Not too easy to find if you are driving. However, on arrival we found the reception staff were very helpful, in fact, Marta (we think that was her name) had brilliantly responded to one of our e-mails where we showed a little concern about the lack of car parking at the Parador. She was a very good "face" to welcome new guests. The restaurant staff were again very attentive, a very young man dealt with our evening meal and could not be faulted. Overall, a very nice Parador and certainly worth more than 3 stars (the bar man alone, being a Barcelona supporter, certainly made me feel at home as I watched El Classico in the bar area even if Barca lost!
We enjoyed our two days at the Parador. We saw all that we wanted to see and spent some time in the town cafes and bars.

The parador is lovely with easy driving access to lovely beaches and we enjoyed renting bikes and exploring the immediate area
Sadly the town of Ferrol is in decline with many derelict and abandoned houses and businesses

It was a beautiful building, lovely location very close to the start of the Camino walk. Would happily stay here again. We also arrived quite late but they were still happy to make us dinner at 10:15pm.
Nothing, it was a pleasant surprise!

Beautiful old building that has been well-maintained. Nice amenities and great breakfast!
The doors should be fitted with modern card key openers.

wonderfully helpful and welcoming staff. beautiful location and building. very nice bar. A nice place to start the Camino Ingles
our standard room was comfortable but unfortunately the window opened onto the extractor pipe - the alternative ( air conditioning) was noisy so the room was not so comfortable.

Beautiful place, excellent staff, the restaurant has a view to the bay. My compliments to the restaurant staff for the great service. the FOOD was incredibly delicious.

Beautiful property, excellent location.
Rooms are very nice but small. The air conditioning did not cool the room well.

The Parador had the option of "cafeteria" for breakfast, in addition to the breakfast buffet .
We like the dinner food in quality and quantity.
We didn't take the breakfast buffet because it looked expensive and our usual breakfast is more modest.
We didn't like the surroundings of the Parador between the Parador itself and the port: a lot of derelict old houses and buildings.
The Parador didn't have reserved parking for customers (that a customer could use by paying a fee); we had to go around and around until finally getting a small place to park two blocks from the Parador.

Everything is taken care of. This place is beautiful, staff is attentive to everything.
