You could always find something to eat even if you're a picky eater there's something for everyone, rooms were nice and comfortable and could always get a sunbed in the morning.
Lots of rubbish around the pool but I think that's more due to the type of people that stay at the hotel rather than staff not cleaning up this hotel attracts people who act like it's there first time abroad and who don't know how to out there own rubbish In a bin

The staff were really friendly at the reception also the cleaning staff tried there best to keep the grounds as clean as possible
There was not enough beds around the main pool area for the amount of guests at the hotel, also didn’t fell that the dinning area was big enough.

There is a lot to like about HL Paradise Island, Waterpark 1 min walk from your room, Food is very good always a choice, All
Inclusive is only way to go with drinks and food for everyone. This does exactly what it says on the tin, It’s not the Ritz but it’s perfect for a family get away.
Not going to slate the hotel but the rooms are really basic,Its 1 bedroom and 2 sofa couches that make the other bed.Still
A bed, Shower, TV what else do ya want. The Hotel just needs a small revamp, A mini golf course, And different games for kids. Rooms needs upgrading big time.

spacious, 2 lovely balconies.
I would of liked a brush or mop to clean up myself, if needed.... there was some sort of mites on the counter work top a few times during our stay.. despite the fact, when I made a hot drink I wiped the surfaces over.. but it was a lovely apartment.

The hotel was absolutely filthy. My children were exposed to live electrical cables. The rooms were infested with ants. Staff were extremely rude and the food was the worst I've had in a hotel by far

it’s very dated and run down desperately in need of a freshen up. rooms feel minty stains and marks all over the floor and walls. generally a tired and old hotel

Overall very good place to stay with family. Very good selection of food each day which was lovely. The Dino park was great for the kids. We had issue with sink in bathroom, reported this and was fixed within 20 mins. Overall very good holiday for families.
The beds are very uncomfortable which means sleep was hard on a night as was difficult to get settled.

Staff are lovely, food is lovely, such a fun place for kids … and nice clean pools etc.
no mirrors were ever cleaned, shower was dirty when we got there and haven’t been cleaned at any point by the cleaners whilst there.
People Do hog the sun beds (All of them) by 7am which is highly annoying and unfair on others!
it needs to be stopped by staff, I genuinely watched 6 sunbeds untouched for 5 hours whilst I sat on a chair because I couldn’t get a bed and watched as these people came back from the beach … sat on them for 10 mins and then picked up there towels and left!

Overall, for the price paid, the accommodation was adequate, they supplied shower gel and towels and there was always something we could eat from the all inclusive and the pina colada were nice, I would recommend saying weak otherwise it tastes like pure alcohol.
Overall the staff were very friendly and welcoming, however one evening our family went for dinner and there were people coughing everywhere, we decided to sit on an area where no one was, the guy cleaning the area took a dislike to us sitting in an unoccupied area and literally started crashing the plates together and knocking glasses over. He was being so loud we almost took our plates over to the coughing area. Very very rude and made us all.uncomfortable. beds were uncomfortable and no shade from the sun on the terrace we had at out apartment

great pool and water slides. Food was great , something for everyone even fussy children and different every day.
A bit dated, could all do with a bit of paint and TLC. stairs to water slides were a bit slippery when wet. ‘Sofa bed’ was just a plastic coated sofa and not very comfortable at all.

The position of room, the comfy 6ftx6ft bed,one large balcony and one small one off bedroom, food excellent, workers in restaurant/bar excellent, worked so hard. Room serviced almost every day. Brilliant for families( not so much for couples)
Reception was chaotic with about two or three staff dealing with each query or check in etc! They were always answering phones and other queries while dealing with guests. Maybe they were all new staff but it could have been much smoother if they just did one job at a time! There was no information on display regarding entertainment although it was mainly aimed at kids, the stage area was outdoors and there clearly wasn't enough room for all guests to see any of the shows as the area was too small also it's very cold at night to sit outside. The seating area inside at reception was like trying to nab a sunbed in the mornings, impossible! We never got one the whole week, towels were put on them at dawn! There was only a small number of extremely uncomfortable seats and a few tables in the lobby,, again clearly not enough for all guests. It wasnt down to Covid/social distancing as we were all jammed together in the dining hall so not sure why there were only a few seats. The hotel was around 2 miles from the town with no bars or cafes between it and town so that meant in order to escape the kiddies shows (and to get a seat! )we would walk into town which is a lovely walk ,downhill and get a taxi home(only 4 euro in fairness). The main strip in Playa Blanca is where all bars and shops are, there are literally just hotels, villas, apartments by the hundred and nothing else. I wouldn't be rushing back to Playa Blanca anytime soon and although the hotel was fine I would not stay there again because of its location and its really aimed at families, do not go if you want a quiet holiday, the music blares night and day. The chairs in general around hotel could do with an upgrade. It felt like they didnt want people to stay to long on them...and it worked if you were lucky enough to get one! The balcony furniture was very old and could also do with being replaced. The staff were amazing and we were disappointed that more guests didn't give them tips.
