Mooiste locatie waar we tot nu toe hebben mogen verblijven

De locatie is prachtig groen en ruim opgezet. Met twee verschillende zwembaden. Het is prachtig onderhouden. De hosts zijn super gastvrij en het personeel zo lief en hartelijk. Er lopen overal gezellige dieren rond en de kamers zijn prachtig ingericht. We komen graag nog eens terug!

Heerlijk adres in de wijnstreek bij Paarl

Prima locatie, zeer ruime accommodatie met erg vriendelijk personeel en een fijne familie als eigenaar. Het ontbreekt aan niets met een lekker zwembad, prima ontbijt (incusief) en mogelijkheid tot heerlijk diner

Weinig tot niets, hadden wat overlast van werkzaamheden en de load shedding

Tessa's proactive communication and friendly demeanour. The breakfast lady too! The room was clean and spacious.

Luke warm shower on Saturday afternoon, cold shower Sunday morning, re-chargeable lights meant to work during load shedding, not working on Sunday morning so the room was very dark.

Quiet and relaxing stay on the farm

The staff were lovely, friendly and hospitable. They responded quickly to any requests. The farm was quiet and peaceful which was what I went for. Our accommodation was upgraded to a cottage as they were quiet which was a nice touch. The dogs were very cute and friendly. I loved the fire in the central breakfast/lounge area which was close to our cottage.

The cottage was quite cold. We had a heater and the air con in the bedroom which made the bedroom warm but the lounge was cold. Perhaps another oil heater in the lounge would be helpful. A couple of extras in the kitchen would be useful such as a sharp knife, scissors, washing sponge and dishcloth.

Pleasant staff and host but disappointing overall.

The Nespresso machine was appreciated. The host was very welcoming, friendly and hospitable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was very nice with a warm fire going and a pleasant area to dine and relax in. The restaurant unfortunately only operates part of the year.

The rooms were not what we expected from a 4 star rated establishment. The skirting had come off in the kitchen area. The rubber seal around the fridge was loose and coming off. The shower has no door so is quite cold in Winter. The beds did not have sufficient blankets. We could not find the adapter for the hairdryer to fit the plug socket. There was no vegetable peeler or chopping board in the kitchen. Generally a disappointing stay overall.

Exceptional

We loved our stay at Leeuwen Hof. It was a great spot in terms of location and very easy to drive around the Winelands from there! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in one of the self-catering cottages and it was perfect. There is a restaurant and bar too, which was lovely in the evenings to sit by the fire and enjoy a drink. The swimming pool was lovely and great to cool off from the hot weather during the day. Would def recommend and will visit again!

A wonderful place to stay

A wonderful stay. This is a family run place where the family and staff go the extra mile, they are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. They have a lovely pool, a bar and the restaurant offers a different set menu every night and the food is very good, just wish we could have stayed longer.

Cosy, family-run estate

Unique and family-run estate. It was possible to eat at the place and also to cook in one of the cottages that we had. Nice with the pool and the braai-event the first evening.
