Location excellent, character of the hotel very pleasing - a smart modern makeover of an inn with hundreds of years of history. Quiet square within a few metres of the riverside.
Staff were very pleasant but stretched thin...this meant waiting around at check-in and checkout for someone to turn up. I even took delivery of some smoked fish for the restaurant and found a fridge for it, because there were no staff about to take it. It's not a big deal if you are not pushed for time, but it could be a problem if you are in a hurry and have to catch a plane. Also, there's no aircon, and with temperatures in the mid-30s outside, a little cooling would have been welcome - but in such a historic building air-conditioning would probably have been impossible to fit.

Great location in Old Town. Clean, comfortable rooms.

Newly renovated, very clean, great part of town.
A/c would be nice but we knew in advance that it was not available. We just opened the doors to the balcony.

The staff, location, clean room.
No air conditioning, extremely uncomfortable, stuffy room. So much so, it was difficult to sleep.

The noise was not from inside the room but the church bell constantly going off

Room very small without closet and no space to organise our luggage.

A beautiful cozy boutique hotel. The room was cute but the best of all was David’s kindness and service.

overlooking the Christmas festivities was the highlight
Poor communication, had to stay first night in hotel around the corner —but still had to pay full cost. Cleaning staff barged in on my wife in the bathroom.

Good location on a quiet square with short walk to the covered bridge and old town. Comfortable bed and good Wi-Fi service in the room.
Our TV had some restrictions and we could not access shows other than local channels.

Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Room was very clean as well.
We also appreciated that there was a fan
in the room given that we cannot switch on the air-conditioner (we went in Autumn). - for clarity, it was not hot/warm, we just wanted some ventilation in the room.
The room we booked was also generous in size, which we super loved.

A very nice young lady on reception.
The breakfast was good
We were there Sunday and Monday night, and on neither night was the hotel restaurant open which was very disappointing. We should have been told this when booking. There was no parking, and we had to pay to park 8n a multi storey car park behind the hotel. We should have been made aware of this as well.
Our room at the back of the hotel was extremely noisy, from the road, the car park the bar next door and early morn8ng deliveries and road sweepers - the lot.

A lovely little hotel in a perfect central location of Lucerne, the room was lovely and the bed was great, the shower was also brilliant which is always a plus for me, great shower soaps aswell
No air con, it was a hot weekend when we stayed and air con would've been very welcomed. But it was only a minor inconvenience. A fan was already in the room when we arrived which helped.

Location, proximity to the lake, attractions and the train station are a big plus. The hotel is a cute, historical, boutique hotel, which was renovated in 2019 or so. There are just 2 rooms per floor. The hotel has a small but useful elevator, if you have luggage. The rooms are a little tight but ok if you are not staying for long.
Suggest to retrofit rooms with more power/USB outlets, No room service or evening contact person available if you need anything.

A very comfortable small hotel in an excellent location in Luzern. Easy walking distance to the station and very close to the Altstadt. Room was a reasonable size with a small bathroom, but comfortable for a short 2-night stay. Very friendly staff who gave us useful local tips.
There was no kettle or drinks making facilities in the room. These are apparently available on demand but we were unaware of this until we were leaving. The hotel is on a church square and the clock strikes every 15 minutes which could disturb light sleepers.
