The building itself is beautiful. The room had great tall ceilings. It was nice the place had a little history to it. I was given an early check in which was great!!
There were some small things wrong with the room. No toilet roll, but then I did check in early. Loose tiles in the shower. See-through chairs in the room were disgusting and also not clean. Some nice antique furniture would look great.
4.2
The building was lovely from the outside
The room was small the carpets had burns in it the bed frame was threadbare the bedside lights were broken the bathroom was tiny if you sat on toilet and the door was opened it banged your knees
4.2
The room is great, facilities are work so well and the beds are actually comfy and big in the twin room. Like the part that they provide £5 voucher if you opt out daily cleaning, it works well.
The live music starts from 5/6pm to 9pm, and the night life at the weekends would make some clear noise till 3am. The hotel indeed mention this in their booking email, just the noise is much louder and clearer than I imagined.

The staff were wonderful, very helpful and friendly - booking taxis, giving directions etc. The room and facilities were good and I liked the sustainability initiatives
Being technophobic it would have been nice to have had a book/ sheet giving some general information rather than a computer code to scan. Not a lot of help if you don't possess a smart phone

Great service and location, receptionist found us a suitable room

location
there was quite a longer wait than previous visits to be seated.
4.2
Great location for Sheffield city centre. The staff were very friendly and allowed us to check in an hour before standard time.
We booked a suite, which was listed as being in excess of 800sqft, this was definitely not the case.
The room also says it comes with a view - again, not the case.
The bathroom was a bit cramped and the overhead shower was broken / did not stay put, which meant overall experience not brilliant.
4.2
The location is fantastic to explore Sheffield.
The restaurant and bar are nice spaces, and the pizza was amazing.
The local area is great for food and drink choices.
Staff where helpful and friendly.
The bed is huge and super comfy, a nice size for a standard room.
The room wasn't as clean as it could have been on the bathroom floor, fluff on the window sill, the furniture and decor was looking tired and in need of a refurb.

My second stay at the Leopold, and it will be my choice of hotel on my next trip to Sheffield too. The service was excellent, friendly and helpful staff and we were surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which was totally unexpected and made our stay even more special.
Nothing, it was all positive.

location and staff were very helpful & friendly
shower was too hot, that’s all.

The bed was the most comfiest beds I've ever slept in!
The shower pressure was poor

Staff were friendly, brilliant service, and the hotel was clean. Good quality buffet breakfast (if a tad pricey). Great location.
Struggled to get comfortable with the pillows in bed, and the stairs in our mezzanine suite were very creaky.

We had a nice large room in the basement area. Quiet and well-equipped. The Staff were excellent particularly Adam.
One of the most expensive hotels I have stayed in and breakfast was not included.

4.2
The location was great, the room was clean and comfortable. Check in and check out was quick and easy.
The room was very cold on the first two nights, as it was cold out and the heating did not work well. No matter what temperature it was set to, by us or the person we spoke to at reception, it never reached above 19.5 degrees, and it took quite a while to reach that temperature.
As it was the weekend and the room was overlooking the square, it was quite noisy at night until about 2AM.

Perfect location in the VERY center of the city just 10 min. walk from the train station. Helpful stuff - the first room I've got was in the basement :-/, but I just asked for a change - and got a new one!
Otherwise the hotel is in an old beautiful building, nice interiors, big and comfortable rooms.
it was a wall of another building in front of my window, so not a nice view, but I guess it depends on how lucky you are.. )
