We loved everything! Beautiful place and the owner has a passion for this place. It's cozy, welcoming, and so much attention to detail. The food is outstanding! Chef came out and made sure that everyone is happy! The plates were stunning, the presentation perfect, and the staff members so politely explained every meal that was put in front of us! Big shout out to Bar Host John and the boys who worked hard! The rooms are simple but very elegant, the bathrooms are amazing, owners definitely have good taste. Comfortable beds! Breakfast! Amazing, again so much attention to the details, they do think about you as a customer! Thank you, you all made our stay wonderful and we will return! Highly recommend this place for staying over, for foodies, weddings, or date nights!

Fabulous breakfast of the highest standard. Wonderful bathroom with full bath, just the thing after a long hike. Friendly hosts.

The whole experience was just excellent. My room was so nice and the breakfast was so good.
The views around the property are just stunning.

Fabulous location and outstanding restaurant for dinner. Cosy room with character.
Having to pre-order breakfast. You never quite know how you’ll be feeling in the moment. When it’s so beautifully cooked and fresh, it would be super to have the flexibility to order on the day. The bedroom could do with a mirror and small dressing table, with chair and plug, to put on makeup and dry hair. Sitting on the bed to do this, wasn’t ideal.

We loved the breakfast and home made jam but would have liked some cereals, back bacon and marmalade.

The location was wonderful and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. I had a meal with a friend and the food was very good.
The rooms in the annexe are not as I expected. My room was on the ground floor was very noisy due to the use of 'shabby chic washed wooden floors' - very trendy and nice to look at, but unbelievably noisy - everything echoes and resounds! The annexe room 'garden' which looked lovely in my booking, was actually a shared space with the room next door, so no privacy or ability to even walk around as you were very aware that you would be invading your neighbours space if you did so. I also had to close my curtains if I wanted privacy as the only windows were floor to ceiling which meant people could see inside the room - and we had a couple of workmen repairing the fence in the garden so not very comfortable really.
