Clean and comfortable room
Bed comfy but mattress old.
Good location
Parking around the back.
Quiet in spite of being by road
Pretty old historic property .
Shower needs updating .
Cheap hangers in wardrobe could be replaced by uniform wooden ones , elevating the quality .
Breakfast expensive for the size ( not a full English more like half )
Details like a bottle of water and complimentary biscuits would elevate this property for little cost .
Strict checkout at 10am meant I had to hang around til my flight which was at 9pm from Birmingham .
Considering I had stayed 6 nights, a little leeway and a slightly later checkout would have been nice and a token of hospitality .

Room well lit, not cold.
A shower screen for the bath, my partner has a injury and could not lower herself into the bath so using the shower head was a bit tricky.

Lovely building. Very friendly welcome. Spotlessly clean. Lovely room. Comfy bed.
Signs to where to park were not really clear enough, and the car park is a little tight on space. No choice of cereal at breakfast.
10.0
Comfortable guest house where we were given a very warm welcome.
No issues.

Very friendly staff, good breakfast and great location as a short walk into the town centre for ubs and restaurants.
Fine for me but the lack of pavement out the front made it a bit tricky to cross the road.

WiFi didn't work in the room

It was spotlessly clean and comfortable and we were made very welcome.

Location was perfect for us.
Everything we needed

Helpful receptionist, comfortable bed. It had a very central location.
We could hear some traffic noise but presumably there will be planning restrictions for modern windows, on such an old building.

I had a warm welcome from a lovely lady, Debbie. She looked after me for the duration of my stay, which was for my sister's wedding. She provided me with an iron and went above and beyond to help however she could.
I heard her giving other guests recommendations in the area and although I didn't have any breakfast at the property, it smelt incredible.
I would have appreciated a change of cup in the room and the radiator in the room left it on the chillier side.
However, I know that if I had asked, I would have gotten a new cup and the bed was so comfortable, I soon warmed up.

Very large bathroom with a massive walk in shower. Plenty of storage space Staff very helpful and polite
Difficult to access entrance when arriving by foot as there is no pavement outside property, and there is a grassy bank to go up to reach the stairs stairs. You have to go right around the property to reach entrance
5.0
comfortable and convenient
wifi was bad and essential for a work trip

Access to the property was good & the parking was safe.
There was no shower, only a bath & I asked for a shower. There was no breakfast which I believed was included but they wanted me to pay an additional £12.95. I went to Morrison's down the road & paid £6.00 for the same thing. The mattress springs felt broken & the frame of the bed rattled every time I turned over.

Comforable stay.
I was in downstairs bedroom, I could hear people walking upstairs. Roof need soundproofing.
No wifi in the room.

Gorgeous guest house, lovely interior, bathroom was very modern and ideal.
Location isn’t great for pedestrians, there’s no walkway at the front so have to walk through the side access road.

No breakfast available on the day we stayed which was a little disappointing but the plus side was we found an excellent place called Pinto Lounge in Banbury for breakfast instead.
Bathroom a little small!
Beds a little too soft for my liking!

very central and walking distance to town, shops and a hospital. lovely host and cute place to stay in
only think for me was the dust and spiders behind the radiator I had to move my bed up a bit from this.

Property is a charming old cottage with an open fire in the reception, that and the warm welcome from the proprietor was a perfect welcome on a very cold day!
Some things you may like to consider if you are a business traveller;
The property is full of oak beams, unfortunately I had noisy people above me continually walking on creaky floors which wasn’t very restful.
WiFi wasn’t very good - thick walls!
Pathway at front of property leads straight to Oxford Road, there is no pavement. You have to walk around the back, and it was very slippy with the ice on the ground.
