The location was amazing, the food was really good for an all-inclusive, there was a small problem at check out with the payment and since we had the boat very late in the evening they allowed us late check-in for free.
The check-in was not the greatest experience because there were a lot of people and we had the room 40min after the check-in time that was promised. Since our check-in was done is two phases, first for payment and after to get the room (they allowed us to use the facilities but not the room), we did not have the whole explanation of how restaurants work and we could have used it better if we knew he had only one restaurant visit included.
Also, while waiting for the room, the suitcases were under the sun.
We felt like the place was mostly meant for families with kids.

Location, amenities, beach, staff was great.
The room we stayed in needed to be refreshed as in needed painting, floors were chipped, towels were thin, bath mat was frayed and old. Cobweb in the bathroom.

Beautiful beach, facilities and location, great activities for children and wonderful for relaxation.
The variety of food was rather limited and somewhat disappointing. Although we visited in the off-season it was during the easter period and evening entertainment would have been great. Also would have been good to know that the speciality restaurants can only be booked with stays of 4 days or longer, we would easily have added another day had we known!

The Island
The food, the facilities, the rooms, the unavailability of choice and even the massage was very poor. Regarding food and services, you have to suffer the poor quality of the all inclusive offering.

Nice hotel with good infrastructure. Staff is very friendly and willing to help. Overall a positive experience
Not really a 5 stars, but more like a good 4 stars. The hotel is a bit oldish and breakfast room could do with an face lift. Having said that, no biggies

It was clean, pleasant stay. All we needed around, close to beach. A lot of pool area.
Don't leave mess or sweet stuff around, there are small ants coming in, but I am sure its totally normal for Madeira and places close to nature like this.
Breakfast was avarage, but still a lot to choose from and a lot different nice pastries.

+ The rooms were of decent size with large balconies
+ Shower good pressure and bath nice too
+ Location with walkway direct to the beach was a real joy
+ The garden design was amazing, really bursting with exotic plants and cacti grass creating a well integrated feel
+ Hotel provides beach towels and robes
+ Sauna + swim in the sea was a great combo ( but the steam rooms were unfortunately underwhelming )
+ Lovely big swimming pools but outdoor ones were colder than the sea ( winter )!
+ Breakfast sitting on the terrace was very pleasant ( once we discovered the fresh omelettes and pancakes )
+ Most of the staff were very nice and helpful, particularly the cleaner and one of the receptionists
+ Although off-season we found 2 very nice restaurants about 15 mins walk from the hotel ( we did not have all-inclusive so did not eat at the hotel's onsite resto )
+ Rooms had ample fridge space to store drinks n snacks
+ NYE there were good parties, and fireworks on the beach !
- Sauna / steam / spa generally didn't work for first 2 days
- Steam rooms were not fully working as never got really hot enough! ( but once the sauna worked it was amazing )
- The first room we were allocated was next door to a family with a baby and we could hear everything because our room had a locked door directly to theirs, so must've been intended to be a joined up room. Anyway the reception changed us to a lovely quiet room and we were very happy with it. But I don't know why they allocated us to a joint room in the first place.
- Breakfast was a huge variety of everything you can imagine including fizzy wine! However, the quality of some stuff was quite bad, like the bacon was v cheap and the coffee machine produced really industrial tasting milk coffees like latte but black coffee was fine.
- As a Brit, tea is important, and the hot water was never hot enough at breakfast to make a good tea! ( but the room had kettle so we could get our tea back in the room ).

It is a gorgeous property with many amenities. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and our Christmas dinner buffet was excellent. So many choices!
They charge 15 Euros for room service.

it’s an old, very old resort. and time wasn’t very nice with it. you can see it wrinkles everywhere. is not very well maintained and seems like its glory days have passed. for sure is not a 5* hotel.
the location.

We really enjoyed our short stay at this beautiful resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place is really nice and the beach just wonderful. We visited Porto Santo in December - it was not that warm and the sea very refreshing, but you can still swim in the sea. The advantage was an almost empty beach and a very calm atmosphere at the resort.

if you are in Porto Santo is certainly a place to be. You have a directly access to the wonderful 9km beach 🏝️, inside the hotel you can feel like in the big Caribbean hotels. Staff is super kind and professional.

The staff, food and location. We also appreciate the box of dinner prepared for us as we arrived in the hotel quiet late. Also, the extra effort to deliver the cake on my birthday.
The cleanliness can be improved. Attention to details, the cover of the door card reader was missing. The pillow was too soft.

Personal working as bees.
You need to pay extra for sunbeds at the beach. it's really 5stars hotel?

Near the airport so that was easy.
Staff all very kind.
There’s something for everyone! I think a week is the max/ perfect amount of time to stay..it was for us anyway.
I found the sun loungers extremely uncomfortable.
The pillows were not plump enough. They look lovely, but as soon as one lies down on them they go very flat! Disappointed we couldn’t book at the Sushi restaurant- Koi. We tried for days to book and were then told no availability. Televisions in the room and bar areas are tiny! They could at least upgrade and put bigger screens in there- Especially when there’s a big sports tournament going on!

Hotel was in a fantastic location, grounds and pool were beautiful. The room was very clean and well maintained.
No tea or coffee facilities in room and tv was very small. Due to Covid breakfast times given were very limited and there was not many food options within the hotel for dinner that was not the buffet.
