Large, comfortable room with wonderful view.
Large, impersonal hotel. Bar was noisy and food mediocre.
4.3
Everything was just fantastic
There was nothing we didn’t like about the hotel

So so breakfast. Food poor first night - better 2nd time we ate there. Thought food was pricey.
Food could be improved - cod on mash seemed boiled - yet haddock in batter excellent!?

excellent - lovely welcome from lovely staff, beautiful hotel, gorgeous ensuite comfy room with fantastic view through lovely big window with sea view. Woke at 6am & watched the waves & changing light.
Would’ve liked to have check out at midday or even 1pm followed by lunch in downstairs restaurant
Car park on same level as hotel would’ve been brilliant tho i could see my car from my room

Front desk staff fantastic. Views. Location. Sauna and steam.
Waitstaff did not realize that you have gluten free bread available. Kitchen staff did not offer the options on the website. You had to ask.

Receptionist on arrival was delightful. Room had lovely view and was well appointed.
Food was surprisingly average in the bar area. Both of our meals (wife and mine) were returned for different reasons. Mussels returned (not hot) seafood platter (salmon dry). The seafood platter was pretty poor overall with what appeared to be frozen items served. We also were disappointed that what appeared to be a spa hotel (relaxing atmosphere etc) was like a creche in the evening.

View from room was amazing & the junior suite was very spacious
Staff were all very friendly & attentive
Had to phone reception for toilet roll & only one bath robe in our suite
Chips my.partner had for dinner in the bar were poor, tasted, like frozen chips

We liked the breakfast selection and bar food. The pool area was also lovely!
The room in which we stayed was not clean - I pulled out one of the beds and the amount of dust on the ledge and floor was unbelievable. The carpet on the floor was crumpled up which I would imagine was result of pulling beds along the floor! There was no fridge/mini-bar in room and the orange armchair could have done with a good clean. Overall, it just felt like a 'chain hotel'.
Also the tennis courts were not operational as the nets had fallen down - a few people who turned up to play had to leave again.

the reception area and bar where lovely
our room was dirty there was a rotten apple behind the desk it was also very small for a family the food was not great the bedrooms didn’t reflect the reception and bar area as they where old

Nothing really.

Carolyn the assistant general manager and mika bar manager couldn't do enough for me. Their friendly and efficient manner was just as needed during my stay.. safety and comfort of the guests was all they wished for me .. I'd go back in a heartbeat 💓. Bar cocktail list a little disappointing but rruely wonderful staff.. Gethin the waiter was more than helpful..
The staff could have been a little more informed of the area and things to do . But we got sorted in the end.. maybe a bike scooter hire facility more readily available just a thought as it is a little bit away from town. If wanted to make most of aera
