Ultra compact but fine, fab view from 15th floor!

Very central, lifts were ok, reasonably priced.

Have stayed in Ibis Budget before, but that room was huge compared with this one!!

Saved a lot of money, clean guest room, great city view, the booking experience was awesome, noisy and restless

This is the second time I stayed in Ibis Budget in AKL city. It is perfect for those people who want to live in the heart of the city; are frugal and wish to save some money from their travels; enjoy a great city view from the high floor.

The wifi is limited. Therefore if you run out, you gotta buy extra. No late checkout. My booking said I can check out before 12 pm but the reception said otherwise. A wee bit untrustworthy. Noisy neighbours/patrons outside. Thought I lived on a high floor (the most expensive option) that I wouldn’t hear any noise. But I was wrong. It was Saturday so a lot of people were hanging out nearby. Also other guests slammed the doors after midnight. It was not hotel’s fault. If you are noise sensitive, please do not choose to live in the city especially during weekends.

Good location, fairly clean, enjoyed being on a floor high up.

Poorly designed room. Although it was a small space better design could have made it much more comfortable. Should not advertise that there is a balcony - you can step out of the unit but there is no room to sit, one person can barely stand.

My stay was decidedly average.

The location is very central and the bed was comfortable.

The room was very small and there was construction work going in very early in the morning which was very noisy. Also though there are some hot plates there are no plates or knives and forks.

If you’re on a tight budget and are looking for hostel-level accommodations, but without the commensurate fun, stay here

Great location.

It felt like a college dorm room mixed with a hospital room. There was no chair, side table. Ratty wall-to-wall rug. When it rained, it was like the roof was made of corrugated metal, how loud it was. In a way it was like a cheap white noise generator.

Very small rooms, beds only small double and the hotel is in dire need of a revamp.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Particularly when people's cards would not work in the lifts or to open their doors.

The rooms did not look as good in real life as they did in the photos.

Prima voor goedkope prijs

De prijs. De locatie in het centrum. Verder ook alle benodigdheden aanwezig en relatief schoon. Ik kreeg nieuwe handdoeken en het personeel was aardig en behulpzaam.

Niets echt duidelijk voor deze prijs, maar als ik iets moet kiezen dan hoe de kamer eruit zag (duidelijk zichtbare leidingen enzo) en het onderhoud van het materiaal.

A very disappointing stay cause of the cook top and me and my partner had to sleep on two sngle beds

My partner and me was disappointed at the cook top on the bench it didn't heat up the frying pan to cook battered fish fillers I had to throw them away cos the cook top didn't work properly that's why I'm giving a low scoreethe

The hotel is fine for my type of stay.

The Ibis Budget hotel is well situated for arriving and departing by Intercity bus. The room is fine for one person but might be a bit cramped for two people. Bed satisfactory.

If two people were occupying room you would need two chairs

The location is very good and this is the second time we stay here.

Very good location with walking distance to Sky City Bus Terminal, Countdown supermarket as well as to the Ferry Terminal. The room was quite small and the bed was comfortable.

Better than expected for the price.

Central location. Included breakfast in nearby cafe. Could leave luggage during day after checking out. Good security. Room had sink, kettle, fridge and microwave, iron and ironing board.

No plates, only mugs and a teaspoon. Clothes hanging rail much too high to reach. No bedside table or shelf or light.

Good location. Didn't sleep that well due to outside noise.

location was good. Room was very small. bathroom in particular was extremely small. It was a wet room and because it was so small the toilet and basin also got saturated when someone had shower. There was a small wardrobe but the rail was so high that I couldn't reach it therefore it was unusable. I am not particularly short at 160cms so it would be beyond the reach of many patrons.There were no bedside cabinets so books, phones etc had to go on the floor. no dishes or cutlery in kitchenette. Comfortable bed but a bit noisy with traffic, alarms etc at night.
