as usual I enjoyed my stay there. And I will always come back

The Staff in the main were excellent. I have stayed here before many times and always found the staff and the facilities excellent. However only 2 young girls were serving/running the Bar and restaurant area and they did not show much enthusiasm for their work

The room had not been serviced correctly. There was food in the fridge and faeces in the toilet bowel. When the room was serviced the following day our towels even though wet were folded and put back on the shelf -although this could have been because I hung them up rather than throw them on the floor. The toilet was left in quite a dirty state

Aside from the breakfast experience it was enjoyable

When we went for breakfast we were asked to go back in 20 minutes because it was busy. Went back & there was no cutlery on the table & all the hot food was gone. Some did come out but not all at once & other people who had been waiting grabbed it & there was nothing left again. Not happy with the breakfast experience at all.

Comfortable , cosy .

Spacious , lots of on site facilities . Liked how our room was able to be accessed from outside .

There were some guests in our wing who were very loud and drunk returning to rooms early in the morning - but that not is not the property’s fault .

Rooms were beautifully presented and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Air conditioning in the room was appreciated. Parking was great as it was outside the room and this was secure for my motorcycle and easy to offload my panias.

Taxi situation was annoying but that is not your issue/problem.

The heated pool

The standards have been slipping each time we stay. There were no swimming towels, the spa wasn’t heating, the restaurant wasn’t open for dinner. There wasn’t enough food at breakfast and every time more food came out you had to rush to get some before it was gone again in about 3 minutes. It was all a bit disappointing.

Well done Copthorne!!

Had the executive suite...spacious, tastefully decorated...spacious!...immaculately clean. A TV in bedroom and another in lounge was very helpful. The bathroom had a jacuzzi bath and double basins separate shower and was crisp white and clean...with double access from lounge and bathroom. Best room I've ever had in Masterton. Well done Copthorne!!

Room service took awhile. But was great when it did arrive! Parking was a little problematic but only because it was full to capacity with lots on in Masterton that weekend. A microwave in room would've been good.

Poor breakfast

Poor breakfast, supposedly due to staff shortage only 'continental breakfast' available. Was still charged 75 dollars for 4 adults and 2 kids and they ran out of pretty much everything already at about 8am. No salami or toasts and we had to pay extra for every coffee. Very disappointing for a hotel.

Overall we all enjoyed our stay and hope to come back one time when it is not raining!

Easy to get around (especially nice was the all internal corridors to get to everywhere as it was RAINING!). Nice and clean and everything as expected. Having our room open out facing the pool and kids playground was really handy (would love to come back when it's sunny so we can actually use this!) and the indoor pool and spa was a good consolation

The "games" room was pretty average and didn't really have any actual games. Seemed pretty sad and neglected. Having a online compendium to "save paper" was really annoying and the app was not easy to use which made doing something simple like looking at the restaurant menu much harder than it needed to be.
