The water pressure was very low

Very good value for money, good parking, it was clean and close to the hospital and town centre.
The staff were incredible. So friendly, kind and helpful.
Really good breakfast. All cooked well and a good amount of choice.
The beds could have been nicer but still great value for money.
3.0
The staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Accommodating and kind, I can not fault them and they were a pleasure to be around. The hotel is in a central and convenient place and had free parking. The beds were comfortable.
The toilet didn’t work, there was a burnt hole in the wallpaper where the light had faced it and it had caught alight previously. I could hear all the other people in other rooms and they were not considerate or quiet. There was a vile and distinct smell of cigarette throughout the halls and the lift and I needed to put on a scented candle in the room as this smelt too. There was not thick enough bedding to keep my grandma warm and there was none extra at the time however they did provide warmer bedding the next day.

Free drinks machine, location
Breakfast could have been hotter
2.5
Far too hot in rooms with no clear way to cool down. Lifts were incredibly slow and mattress were so thin they were like travel mattresses, not comfortable at all.
4.0
Very clean and comfortable with good facilities
Adjacent to very busy main road....very noisy

The fan wasn't working had to sleep with the window open and there was a lot of traffic noise. Not the best sleep was had

Location was good for centre of chesterfield and the staff were really friendly. Also complimentary tea and coffee is a brilliant idea.
Smelled of cigarettes throughout. The whole property is in need a face lift asap. The lobby area is very unwelcoming, dated and looks pretty dirty. Also the curtains in our room weren’t black out! I thought these were as standard?!

Hotel comfortable, staff friendly.
No criticism of Ibis but the walk into town from the hotel is not safe as you have to cross busy roads with no pedestrian crossings.
4.5
Nearly central to the town. Nice rooms and staff are always cheerful and helpful.
Bar shuts too early .
3.5
The room was pretty good considering the cost - quite big, roomy bathroom, extra pillows provided. Nothing special, but it was £50 so can't complain.
The hotel is dated and in need of some TLC - it was clean, but looking a little tired.
3.0
The environment.
Staff were rude.
2.5
Close to amenities
No fridge in the room , wall paper coming off the wall , noisy roads

This is our second stay at this particular Ibis. Location wise its easy to find.
I asked for and received a shower mat as I can be unsteady on slippery surfaces.
Pool table in the lounge area. Personally needed a quieter area to sit and relax in.
It was very warm in bedroom even with the windows open, an electrical fan would have been appreciated.

The onely bonos was free water
The blonde woman on reception needs to sort out her attitude, speeking down to people I would strongly advise not approaching her for ANYTHING even when checking me in she was talking down to me

the property was close the the town.
the room was dangerous wiring behind the bedside table!!!!!
4.0
Nice, quiet room, good selection of breakfast. Very pleasant staff. Bonus points for serving breakfast from 6:30.
There were issues with hot water, but got resolved quite quickly. The elevator seems to be not working as well, might be under maintenance.

I liked how accommodating the staff were to both myself and my mum. They were very helpful with directions for where we wanted to go outside of the hotel.
Also additional note the beds were the most comfortable i have ever stayed in highly recommend
Not really a dislike but I just wish the bathroom was a tad bigger but thats just my personal preference nothing wrong otherwise.

Bed comfortable and clean.
Lift wasn't working and had to climb stairs to 2nd floor with a bad knee. The hair dryer was smoking and nearly blew up in my hand.

Staff very friendly and doing good job at what they doing .
The building inside old and crumbling and smells ,especially carpet it really stinks . Price was too mutch for the size of the room and for its quality, and we been on random weekend where there was no celebration or bank holiday .
