The swimming pool.
Parking there was none. Room service there was none. It was stopped the night we arrived. We were there 4 nights. I emailed on hotels website 1st night gave room number and NO response to absolutely no parking and other concerns. Port Douglas itself was beautiful and many other places to stay next time. Spa in room took up way too much space. Vanity cupboard falling apart. Very bland room.

Location to the beach was great, main pool and restaurant were also great.
Th Spa had issues with turning the bubbles on. Property could use with some maintenance.
Property did not match the price paid for the room.

Stunning facility. beautiful pool area. Restaurant pricey but food worth the cost. Staff very helpful. Short walk to the beach. Would definitely stay again.
Disappointed with the cocktails we had at the pool bar. Need a car if you intend to travel into town.

I think it's disgusting I have to wait 10-15 days for my OWN money to be returned to my account from the holding deposit. When tkmf upon check in it's just a hold and released back upon checking out. Which is NOT true.
Poor communication and appauling you can keep someonea funds for over 2 weeks. But we have to pay in full before entering the room.

Spacious and clean unit
Over 45 mins to check-in and 20 mins to check-out. Had to pay by credit card so that the hotel could surcharge my card. Very slow service...

Lovely setting and pool
The first room we had,113, was impossible to sleep in as a very bright orange outside light shone directly into our eyes through the side of an ineffective blind. I raised this but was told that due to ‘staff shortages’ there were no other rooms as they had been closed off. Only after I said I would pay for an upgrade was a room found and I was charged an extra $200 for the night. This room, a 2 bed with roof terrace was infinitely better. The breakfast buffet was disappointing. No chef on the second day for omelettes, no rolls, no yoghurt and very small selection of cold items. Worst of all was the transfer. We requested a private transfer back to Cairns airport but we’re told there were none available so they had booked us on to shared transport. This proved to be a jam packed basic minibus with poor suspension , no ventilation and inadequate air con. We were literally bounced all the way and arrived very overheated with terrible back pain. We didn’t realise but we could have taken an Uber for the same price.

Close to the beach and has a lovely pool to relax in. only a short drive from the town centre. Really great restaurant Aluco, highly recommend the barramundi, the best in Port Douglas in my opinion.
A lot of kids which wasn’t ideal for a couple’s romantic getaway, the breakfast wasn’t great value for what you pay and would suggest going to Choo Choo’s at the marina 8 min drive down the road instead. The gym facility wasn’t really great, very small with 3 pieces of equipment and very light weights, for the price you pay I’d expect better facilities.

We were asked to pay full price upfront, never have needed to do this before, putting up a card upfont..OK BUT PAYING FULL PRICE UPFRONT NOT OK..bad start but facilities and stay excellent.

The pools were magnificent. Room was quiet & spacious.
Housekeeping was very minimal. Had to request every day. Not enough choice within the resort for food.

such a great layout. Especially the pool.
not enough parking near our room.

The pool.
This does not deserve to be a 5 star hotel. The rooms were unclean with black marks on pillow cases and towels upon arrival. The hotel itself is quite rundown. The service was the worst I have seen, sometimes you had to call the reception 3 times before anyone answered. When you do ask them something, they tell you how you can do it yourself. That's fine, but don't call yourself a 5 star hotel!
We went to the restaurant for breakfast and it is so overpriced for an average buffet and once again, low standard of cleanliness. The food for lunch was average too. In room dining is very limited (you also have to pay $5 to get it delivered to your room).
Wish we took our money elsewhere.
