Breakfast was amazing with plenty choices served in a past era setting
There was nothing to dislike
4.1
Breakfast good. Location with sea view good. Staff in bar, restaurant and reception very good.
Rooms dated. Our door rattled all night (room 3). Head to wedge it with a spoon!
Bathroom very small and shower was a dribble.
4.1
The hotel was clean and the decor was amazing. It has an "old world" feel about it. The room was clean and a nice size. I would most definitely revisit and recommend friends and family, too. Thank you for the most enjoyable stay. Kim and Denise.
The only dislike we had was the pillows, they were hard.
4.1
Room was lovely and the location could not have been better for the seaside.
Very little places to park which meant we had to stay in the paid parking nearby, but you can only stay there for 24hrs! Food was very hit and miss, my burger was very dry and overdone and choices for breakfast was limited. Recommend not paying for the breakfast and going into town to the old rock shop bistro for pancake stacks! but you need to book.

The staff were very friendly and accomdating.
On site car parking was good but manoeuvring around the hotel was challenging.
4.1
Lovely view and great breakfast

Location, location, location.
No local ciders in bar.
4.1
Nice room and comfy bed
Only one bedside lamp which was irritating. Water pressure in bathroom very poor particularly in the basin.

The room layout was nice, the bathroom was really nice
Staff in restraunt was very slow
4.1
Friendly staff, the room was very nice, Bed very comfortable, Evening meal and Breakfast was tasty.
Our bill got muddled up with someone else's. Ordered drinks that didn't arrive and lastly our shower was cold.
4.1
The location of the hotel was very good being far enough out of town to be quiet yet close enough to walk into should you want to. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent - when it arrived, and breakfast the following morning was equally as good - eventually.
On arrival the room was very hot with not much scope for ventilation - only one window could be opened and that was only about 30cms. There was an electric fan in the room which we set to max but was not enough to cool the room down to an acceptable level. We didn't sleep very well that night.
At dinner it took 50 mins for the main course to arrive - we didn't have starters - which I think is not acceptable by anyone's standard and we had to wait a while for breakfast too!

Location great
As the room was small and window restricted to open perhaps a fan could be offered as room was very hot.
4.1
Staff were very helpful and pleasant.
The room was extremely cramped with no space for even a chair. The bathroom was too small to accommodate a handbasin and became hot with no ventilation at all.
4.1
Beautiful beach front hotel, great staff and a room overlooking the sea.
The bathroom was on the small side but fine for a night’s stay.
4.1
The food, the location, the kindness of the staff.
Nothing

Great location. Friendly staff. Close to town centre and all facilities.
A little bit faded grandeur.

The staff were very friendly
There was nothing to dislike, we had a very pleasant stay.
4.1
The room was clean and comfortable but small
The bed was a small double but comfortable
Good size bath towels.
Had a small car park which is free.
The Bar
Took 3.5 hours to get to the hotel checked in and then my wife and I went out for a meal and a show in the Cromer Pier Pavilion.
Got back to the Hotel just gone 22..30 and thought we would complete a great with a nightcap together in the bar and guess what the bar was closed .... Closed on a Saturday night at 22.30 I paid £163.90 for a one night stay and the bar closed at 22.30 absolutely ridiculous.

Room was very small with poor design

Location good, food good, room comfortable.
The best bit we're the staff wete exceptionally friendly which made our stay special.
Couldn't open the windows in my bedroom as far as I could ascertain. The room would get extremely hot in the summer I would have thought.
4.1
lovely view and breakfast
room heating was on and off, sometimes quite chilly in the rooms

I had an enjoyable stay in a well appointed hotel, with an excellent view. The staff were friendly and efficient, the food was excellent and both the cleaning and service were fully satisfactory. I would recommend the Cliftonville Hotel to anyone visiting Cromer.
I have no complaints
4.1
Good central point and parking
4.1
The room was great. I was lucky enough to be given a sea view room. In my experience many seaside Hotels have single rooms that have a view of the Car Park. Not so here. If you are travelling alone ask for room 40, you won't be disappointed.
I would have preferred a chair rather than a stool as I always sit at a desk working for part of my evening. Sitting on a stool, even though it was a cool stool, wasn't very comfortable for doing the paperwork in the evening. Everything else was great.
4.1
Relaxed and comfy atmosphere . Friendly and helpful staff . Large room ( for a single ) with sea view . Good food and service .
Cramped car park
4.1
Comfy beds. Friendly staff.
Location was good. Lovely sea view.
Room in need of serious upgrading. Outside entrance to hotel very dirty. Generally a very rundown building. Not good value for money. Breakfast very expensive but food good.
4.1
Lobby/bar area really nice
Room a bit on the tired side

We had little contact with anyone, or visit any room, but the guy on reception could not have been more helpful,
The hotel was a labyrinth of stairs, and because my partner uses a walking stick we found them impossible to negotiate, the guy on reception did his best to accommodate us, but without success, so eventually offered us a refund.
4.1
lovely setting and architecture
nothing
