Beautiful setting, and gorgeous antique feel with lots of animals in the grounds. Close enough to facilities, but far enough for the country feel.

Nice room, friendly owners
There was confusion with what we booked which turned out the unavailable. However the alternative offered was nearly as good.

Actually to be honest it’s so out dated & run down it’s an embarrassment to the town of Richmond ! needs closing down
well where do I start - no fly screen on window & we had a cat in our room of the owners - I honestly think it sleeps in there ! the place smelt - dirty as - creatures on the walls - the health inspector needs 2 shut this down !! totally disgusting - should have complained & tried to get money back. !

Location and nice surroundings. Bed was comfortable
Lighting was terrible. Sound on tv wasnt adjustable so very hard to hear. Toilet dripped all night.

Great meal at the restaurant and host accommodated special diet and provided meal promptly. The property is unique, farm animals, gardens, bespoke rooms and ample parking.
The rooms are dated though clean.

Excellent country location. Peaceful comfortable.
While everything was there for a wonderful stay the property does need revitalising. This did not detract from our stay.

Great bathtub! The room was comfortable and clean and very quiet...out in the country. Friendly reception upon arrival and free and easy parking.
It was a bit out of town which made finding a place that was open for dinner a challenge...disappointing that the restaurant at the hotel closed at 6pm. It was the week before Christmas so understandable that things closed early. Very cute little town and we did find an excellent place for breakfast the next morning.

great historic buildings and location
no outside private sitting

The location is stunning with lovely greenery and animals around, not to mention the beautiful brick cottages and fairytale like reception!
3.0 / 5.0
We liked the location of the cottages. The cottages had an old medieval feel to it.
Out of the 2 rooms, one of the rooms was not good. It didn't have air circulation and it had a suffocating feeling due to that.
