Hôtel charmant à l’image de son personnel qui est très attentionné. Nous avons bénéficié (upgrade) d’une superbe chambre joliment décorée, vaste et très confortable. Les nombreuses attentions - message de bienvenue, bouteille d’eau, café et thé dans la chambre, oreillers selon vos souhaits etc. - renforcent le sentiment d’être comme à la maison. Le pdj est de qualité, varié et abondant et il y a même un coin dédié aux enfants. La terrasse est parfaite pour un dernier drink en été. L’emplacement est idéal pour visiter la ville et proche de la gare.

Schweizer Gastlichkeit - auf professionellem Niveau

Das Hotel liegt mitten im Zentrum mitten in der Fussgängerzone und ist trotzdem oder gerade deshalb sehr ruhig. Es liegt in kurzer Gehweite zum Bahnhof und zu allen wichtigen Infrastruktureinrichtungen. Auch Parks zur Entspannung sind in auf kurzem Weg erreichbar. Geschäfte und Gastronomie in Stadtmitte natürlich auf bestem schweizer Niveau

Friendliness & how helpful staff were. Ear plugs in room as construction work going on in nearby building. Breakfast. Cleanliness of room.

Weekend getaway

One of our best hotel stays in recent years, our corner room had all the comfort we may have needed, including small details like umbrella, slippers, the way breakfast is presented, etc. We usually try to avoid staying in old buildings, but this one was clean and well equipped/maintained.

Small thing, I did not manage to cast to the smart TV for some reason.

Excellent, very comfortable and would definitely go back & recommend!

I absolutely loved it. I told them my parents had a special celebration and they made a beautiful surprise. I also changed clothes for my civil wedding at the room. Absolutely great, staff awesome, comfortable room, and would highly recommend for anyone who stayed at Winterthur

Minor thing is a detail that for business trips you should book in advance business centres

I shall certainly stay again but may have to buy a blanket at a nearby store even for four nights.

The staff, the pleasant room, breakfast room, the convenient central location.

My only problem is the absence of blankets. They offer normal duvets and summer duvets. Even the latter were too warm despite the very efficient air conditioning.

Lovely staff, fantastic location. Clean, traveled with a 6 month infant and the hotel met all our families needs.

Unfortunately our air conditioning was broken, it was shortly after 10pm when we found out and there was nothing which could have been done, asked service staff to escalate the issue the management and we were informed that there is no night manager after 10pm. When travelling with an infant during a hot spell of weather I didn’t think this was good enough but in fairness to the helpful service staff an extra fan was given to us. It was the only issue we had with our stay.

Great service, location and beds. I love Sorell.

The service is always great! Love the location, so easy to get to and really in the thick of the town where all the shops and parties are nearby. Also, gotta love the yoga mats provided!

Room is a tiny bit small for 2 people.

Highly recommended hotel, perfect stay in Winterthur

It was my second stay in this hotel this year. Everything was perfect again. The rooms, stuff, breakfast are exceptional. You can feel like home during your trip.

There is nothing to complaint about.

Very nice stay in the center of Winterthur

I had a room on the fourth floor. It was quiet, big, clean, with a very comfy bed and pillows so I could sleep well. There was a big work desk - nice, if you are travelling for work. I got the welcome bottle of a still water. I liked the electric kettle and the possibility to make a tea in the room, but there was also a nespresso machine for a coffee. The bathroom was big, clean, had a huge shower and there were also Rituals cosmetics so I felt very relaxed in it. The breakfast was varied and tasty. The whole service was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. I will come back again.

I could not adjust the heating so sometimes it was too hot in the room.

The room was a bit too warm and it wasn't clear how to turn down the heating. The wifi bandwidth was a little low which could be improved.
