About this house rental
This charming & dreamy artist's home is a tranquil escape close to shops, hikes, restaurants, old town, and public transport. Our home has been lovingly renovated with an understated elegance; cozy, full of natural light & character. We have a well-appointed kitchen, free off-street parking, huge back deck, outdoor grill, basement home theater, Free high-speed WiFi, and full washer & dryer. Upstairs Master Suite has a queen bed + huge soaking tub. Fenced yard + dog friendly (please inquire ahead about extra fees).
We think of our home as our "Enchanted Forest Cottage" in a quiet neighborhood, a backyard that has well-established pine trees, and beautiful landscaping. There is a spacious Master Suite that feels like it is in a tree house. Regina is an artist, gardener, and tidying coach so there is lavish beauty throughout. The home is well-organized and very clean.
Sleeping: The Master Suite upstairs has a Queen-sized bed with a memory foam mattress. It is a fairly large open space upstairs with plenty of room for a pack-and-play for a little one or an extra air mattress if desired. In our home office on the main floor we have a bunk-bed with a futon double bed + top single bed. The basement has a home theater and, upon request, we can set up a very comfortable queen-sized air mattress with Memory Foam Topper. (When our nieces & nephews stay over they love converting the big couches into a fort and sectioning off their own little nooks!)
Bath & Kitchen: We have a newly renovated kitchen with premium appliances, including a gas stove and double-oven, Keurig, Blendtec blender, etc. Our bathrooms are updated as well. There is a shower + toilet on the main floor. Upstairs, in the Master Suite, we have a double vanity, extra large soaking spa tub, and separate room for the toilet. Our Tankless Water Heater ensures hot water for all!
Pets: We love dogs and are happy to welcome them if they are not destructive and/or loud enough to disrupt our neighbors. We have a nice fenced in yard for them to enjoy, a beautiful walking path around the lake just a few blocks away, and several dog parks nearby. Sadly we are allergic to kitties so we cannot accommodate them :( We do have pet policies and an extra pet deposit of $250/week. Please inquire and let us know details about your furry companion!
Guest Access: You will have private access to the full home with the exception of the garage and unfinished basement which we use for storage. You may park in the driveway or on the street in front of the house. There is a keyless entry so you are welcome to come and go as you please. We are a call or text away and are available to help with any concerns you may have.
Location: We are located 1 mile from Old Town Lafayette, 3 miles from Old Town Louisville, 10 miles from downtown Boulder, and 20 miles of downtown Denver. Our home within walking distance of 3 parks for children, a scenic walking path around a lake, an awesome pub with a food truck, a local farm "stand" (Isabelle Farm), restaurants, grocery, shops, Lafayette Old Town, and more!

Our stay at this property was nothing short of exceptional. The host was extremely communicative and friendly. Intuitive instructions were provided to aid in check-in, check-out, controlling the lights and fans, and utilizing the equipment. To top it off, the hot tub was a huge bonus! Will definitely aim to stay here again, next time we’re in town.

This property was amazing! The pictures just don’t do it justice. The home was clean, and it felt cozy as if I never left home. All the artwork, and little details in the home, are just amazing! Regina was so sweet and accommodating, I would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much!

Home away from home
Absolutely exceeded expectation! We were displaced from the Marshall fires; Regina and Jay could not have been more warm, welcoming, and accomodating. The house is gorgeous...cozy, comfortable, and has everything you could possibly need, all top-quality. We felt so safe and cared for during an incredibly difficult time. Highly recommend!

Wonderful home, wonderful hosts
This home was comfortable and beautiful, and the hosts couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. My husband needed to work during our stay and Jay was kind enough to locate a desk top riser that allowed him to work while standing for portions of the day. This helps him a lot with some back issues.
The home was also well-stocked; Regina and Jay have thought of everything for a comfortable, homey stay!

Met every need
Thanks to Jay and Regina we were able to stay in a spacious, clean, fully stocked home, located brilliantly between Denver and Boulder. From coffee to first aid, wonderful media room for Premier League game and the very well appointed desk area for work - we had no need that was not met.
The back garden, seating and plantings were a delightful way to spend the relaxed mornings or evening cocktail. Regina’s beautifully arranged flower bouquet was such a thoughtful surprise!
We found that the suggestion of using the whole house fan overnight provided a very comfortable sleeping climate. We only had the ceiling fans of old to compare (noisy!) but this was a low hum that was barely noticeable.
Thank you for a truly wonderful stay!!

Hiking in Boulder and Rocky Mountain National Park
We had a great trip. We really needed a place for us to relax after hiking, cook some meals, space for all of us to sleep. The house fit the bill. It was close to everything we wanted to do, so that was really nice. Owners responded quickly to any questions we had. The only thing that would be nice is to upgrade is the air conditioning. It was in the upper 80's and 90's when we were out there. After a day of hiking it would have been nice to have a cooler house. Other than that we were very happy with everything!

Amazing
Everything was amazing, the property itself is beautiful the hosts went out of there way to set us up with everywhere needed and even had a bottle of champagne ready for New Years and treats for our dog. Would recommend this home to anyone visiting the area!

Our stay in our Lafayette oasis was second to none. The cute house about 10 min from Boulder could not have been any more perfect for us and our 2 dogs. The house is completely remodeled with oversized bathrooms (even with a soaking tub), new floors, nice bedrooms with comfortable beds, a fully stocked remodeled kitchen (with every cooking utensil, spice and pan you could hope for) and up to date technology for personal and business needs.. The backyard is like a botanical garden with multiple flowers, shrubs and trees and a lovely deck. The location was perfect for us as it was a 5 minute walk to a small lake, close to restaurants and golf courses and in a safe neighborhood. The hosts were beyond accommodating and incredibly friendly. We really enjoyed chatting with them and learning about their place. Truly good people. We hope to be back next year when we again leave Texas for cooler weather.
