Great location
Didn't get the type of room that we booked.
Staff overcharged city tax
Only 1 small bottle of water for two guests in a room

Excelente desayuno.
Excelente personal.

location is great no doubt
also breakfast was great
my room was expensive for what I normally pay, it felt very small.
pool was closed and very small.
my dad had an accident in the bathtub while showering and I called 3 numbers in panic and nobody replied so I had to speak with the laundry service to pass on my message, staff to a while to arrive. luckily was not a major event.

Need to have some maintenance…
The entrance has a very old carpet
It was closed at night and did not have signals
Rooms were old, same as TV.
The curtains were old and without color
The housekeeper never replaces the toilet papers and the towels. We need to call each time

It's not a 5 star hotel, may be 2 star. Dirty, bad service. The price is excessive in relation to the services. It has flaws that are not acceptable for that category and the price charged. The rooms and bathrooms are old and rundown, air condition makes a lot of noise, the wifi do not work in the room. There's a coffee machine but you have to pay for the coffee capsules. We had to ask every day for bath foam, shampooing, towels...
We wanted to speak to the manager, but they said she/he was on holidays.

The location is excellent: at the corner fom the Plaza del Mayo. The breakfast is also excellent, with different options everyday. The staff was also very friendly and provided me with everything I needed. the rooms were comfortable. I recommend it.
The only negative aspect was the wi-fi connection that at times did not work very well in my room, but it wasn't something that bad. Another curious aspect is that the restaurant was closed during the weekend. The food from the room service could be a bit better. But, again, the hotel is an excellent choice, and those aspects are small details.

Everything was quite well apart from what I will write in the negative comments.
My stay was alright, apart from the check-in experience. The staff in the reception was okay except for a guy called Alejandro Basques, or Vasques, - who works in the night shift. This person has certainly either no training, or he received training in some low-level pension. Therefore, he has no idea of customer service. He was super rude, and showed no sympathy whatsoever to me, a client who just arrived at the Hotel after 24 hours flights with lay overs.
Here is what happened. I have booked my room months in advance, as I came to Buenos Aires in business. To avoid any problems, I tried to pay for my stay ahead, for which I contacted the staff months in advance. My request was rejected, and I was sent a special link to update the credit card for the company card.
When I arrived, the Hotel charged the company credit card, and it did not work. I was already frustrated because I really tried to pay in advance to avoid that. In the middle of all this frustration and after 24 hours of traveling, this Alejandro Vasques ordered me in a very rude tone that either (1.) I should call the company to sort it out (it was 4 AM in Europe – which he didn’t care), or (2) that I should pay in cash (more than 1.000 USD). Otherwise, I could not go to the room. I was really grossed by the whole thing, the way he dared to talk to me, and these preposterous terms. First, I wanted to pay my room in advance and my proposal was rejected, to now be treated like this. Then, why couldn’t I solve the problem a few hours later, when I could call my company after having some rest?
I am still haunted by this experience, and I try to make sense of it: how could someone be allowed to work in hospitality, in a five starts hotel, behaving and treating clients this way!?
I am shocked for a person like this having a workplace at the front desk of a NH Hotel. How disappointing…
1.5
Wonderful staff. They are professional, helpful, and polite. Every employee in this hotel goes above and beyond, from the front desk managers to the waiters and receptionists at the breakfast bar. Melina especially was very personable and kind.
Phenomenal location.
The rooms were not cleaned properly. There was a lot of dust in the desk in the living room as well as around the couches.
The other big problem is the noise. There is noise from every angle. I changed suites twice. The first time, there was noise from upstairs hotel entertainment. I did not sleep and had work the next morning. The second time, there was noise from a shared hotel lounge (I was told by the front desk). The final suite had noise from the street. I was wearing noise canceling plugs but still could not sleep. I stayed 8 nights and was only able to sleep well for two. As this was a work trip, it was catastrophic.
The beds are nice, but the split is obvious and sn be felt at night.

The staff was extremely helpful and answered a lot of my questions. The location is decent, but there are better places to stay if this is important to you. I don't think the breakfast was that great. They gave me good sized room with a nice view, but the curtains were not long enough to cover up the sunlight coming through in the morning.
The hotel is outdated and in need of upgrades. Why is there a phone in the shower?? I've never seem something like this before haha. I heard some noise coming from the neighboring suite, so they should also add noise canceling. It wasn't a huge amount, but enough to warrant it needing to be addressed.

Great location to travel around the center Buenos Aires, Plaza de Mayo is right outside and takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to Puerto Madero. Amazing staff, the guys at the lobby are always looking out for you and eager to help.
The room is not that spacious, bed is right adjacent to the wall next to the door, and it smelled when I first got there. My sister stayed in the same hotel for the same price but she got a desk in her room and I didn't.
I usually keep my training up when I'm away so I use hotel's gym quite often when traveling. When I opened the gym's door and saw the equipments, I closed the door and walked away... the hotel should spend some money to buy some equipments
