Discreto
O alojamento está com aspecto de que não está tão limpo. Precisa dar uma pintura para melhorar o astral.

Excelente toda la estadía, Pablo estuvo siempre pendiente de todo y las personas que trabajaban con el siempre atentas.

Quiet spacy and comfortable place in busy city
Make more use from the outdoor patio. We had breakfast outside every day. It was nice the staff put the tables there and served us outside on our request. It would be nice to have tables and lounge facilities ready outside the moment the weather allows this. It will connect people

- very beautiful 1920s building, in good condition
- building very badly lit, there are steps which you stumble upon systematically
- when it rains, part of path in the house is flooded
- although kind of nice, the owner unfortunately can be impolite towards women
- unpleasant price discussion even though you might have thought it’s agreed, you’re a tourist $bag and regarded as such

Architecturally interesting, historic building, with a modern design twist.
Helpful staff.
Great breakfast in a stylish dining room.
Lots of mosquitoes. But this might be just the time of year.l

I cannot say enough about the property. It is a wonderful old building lovingly restored by the owner himself, architect and artist. this is a must for people who appreciate the fine details of early 1900s architecture: the wood moldings, high ceilings, stained glass windows, etc. in so many ways I have the sense that I am staying at my grandparents’s home (Alfredo Mandino, a master mason and plasterer, who immigrated from Puglia to NY, building his house in Connecticut in 1920). The furnishings, the leaded glass, the koi pond, are just a few of the personal touches here. We loved being able to sit outside on a patio surrounded by plants of the tropics, the sweet smell of jasmine in bloom filling the air). In addition to the spacious common area courtyard, our suite had its own private outdoor seating area. The concept of this place is fantastic, a condo hotel, where one gets their own suite of rooms yet has the convenience of being able to have breakfast prepared by the staff, or a drink after returning from shopping. The entire place is filled with the owner’s own art. Pablo is a gifted multi media artist. He and the staff all give the feeling of welcoming their guests into their family. Laundry can be sent out, food picked up. Each restaurant recommended was an excellent dining experience. Casa Umare is impeccably clean and comfortable. In the neighborhood of Almagro, real people abound and chat with you in the streets. To experience the Real Buenos Aires, stay here.
it would have been nice if the restaurant had been open for more than breakfast, it would be an ideal setting for a small jazz combo and cocktails.

This place comes as a big surprise! Spacious rooms with high ceilings, some very nice patio's and a spectacular roof terrace. The roof terrace is not completely finished yet but when the long pool is, it will be a big bonus for this hidden gem.
We had a quiet apartment on the ground floor with 2 bedrooms. Fresh orange juice and coffee for a basic breakfast.
The personal touch and big influence of the owner (Pablo) as an architect and artist, made this casa especially interesting for visitors looking for an authentic place with a lot of character. Be sure to visit the Cathedral Club just a 5 min walk away where you can taste in a good atmosphere and for practically no money, a professional tango performance. Thanks Pablo for all your good information of this part of BA I hadn't visit before!
Some minor things:
I dont like to have a shower in a wobbly bathtub with plastic curtains.
The doorknob of the bathroom was missing. A guest took it home as a souvenir!

A nice quirky hotel apartment with a large internal courtyard for sitting outside in the shade. A continental breakfast was fine for my wife, as I am Coeliac I was provided with yoghurt and fruit at no extra cost. The staff were friendly and helpful although our lack of Spanish limited conversation.
Whilst we only required one bedroom the apartment had two bedrooms but you had to go through the second bedroom to get to the bathroom. Probably not a problem for those with young family but maybe not so good for two couples travelling together

The staff were simply amazing. When we were stuck, unable to get a taxi (as the World Cup final was about to start), Pablo went and got his own car and drove us to our next destination. Truly lovely people.

What a beautiful place to stay. blown away by the decoration. feels like your staying in a 5 star hotel. the building also has allot of history which the owner was kind enough to provide. Everything was perfect and the staff was amazing. situated near everything a mall, public transportation and restaurants. you won’t be disappointed if you stay here during your visit to Buenos Aires

Awesome place, great vibe, REALLY comfortable rooms, and great location.
Very minor detail, but a little bit of protein at breakfast would be nice.

Pablo was the most perfect host you can imagine for your stay in Buenos Aires! He helped us with every question we had and recommended us the best places around Buenos Aires. The apartment was dazzling and we all felt secure and happy about Casa Umare.

The place is a house restored by the owners themselves. One of them is also a plastic artist. Each "flat" or "apartment" has a collection of wonderful paintings. Every detail has been taken care of.
The apartments are spacious, and comfortable, with a large bed and a well-equipped kitchen. The shower and heating work perfectly. Because of its infrastructure, it is a place where you can rest but also work.
All employees are friendly and helpful.
I also recommend the restaurant.
The bathroom has a beautiful bathtub but should have a grab bar.
Fruit could be included in the breakfast.

The property is basically a few "houses" connected together. The rooms had very unique layouts that might be jarring to some people, others will love it and appreciate the uniqueness. The property had lovely green courtyard spaces that you could relax in with some tea or wine. The owner, Pablo, and his helpers, were very friendly and helpful and worked really hard to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was really good as well.
To enter the hotel you have to buzz someone at the main entrance (they have a door camera). Perhaps it's for safety reasons. It's not a significant problem by any means but if you like to come and go as you please you lose that feeling. They don't have any time restrictions though; you can stay out as long as you want, someone will be around to let you in.

Lovely rooms and the staff were wonderful. Breakfast was great. The rooms were nice and quiet, a haven in a big city
Missing some practicalities like someplace to hang towels. Also found it odd to be charged for tea bags

Casa Umare is a rare find in Buenos Aires. Located at the heart of Abasto where Tango happens, it is easy access to everything! walking distance to restaurants, malls, we even walked to Palermo Soho in 25 min. ! The property is almost hidden to the eye which makes it extremely safe for anyone staying. it’s comprised of only 6 apartments within a beautiful historical building that has been renovated with such detail and incredible taste! Our apartment was spacious, full of light, an inside patio for breakfast under natural light and you get the feeling of being in your own home. Pablo the owner is kind, helpful and ready to make sure you make the best out of your stay. Included breakfast was perfect with warm croissants, toasts, coffee and any extras you may want. I am originally from Buenos Aires and this is without a doubt my new place to stay every time I’m back!
