Upon arrival at the hotel, you were shocked to find rats in your room. This is not only highly unsanitary but also poses a serious health risk. The presence of rats indicates a severe lack of proper hygiene and pest control measures in the establishment.
Furthermore, the room was in an unacceptable state of cleanliness. The bed, bathroom, and walls were marred with unsightly stains and dirt. A hotel room should be a clean and comfortable space for guests to relax, but your experience at Pausania Inn was the complete opposite.
In addition to the cleanliness issues, there were several other concerning aspects of the hotel room. The air conditioning was faulty, leaving the room uncomfortably hot and stuffy. The water pressure in the shower was insufficient, making it challenging to take a proper shower. The furniture was worn-out and in dire need of replacement.
The lack of soundproofing in the room resulted in constant noise disturbances, making it challenging to get a good night's sleep. The overall ambiance of the hotel was unpleasant, with outdated and shabby decor throughout the common areas.
Moreover, the hotel staff displayed a lack of professionalism and responsiveness. When you brought the issues to their attention, they were unhelpful and dismissive, failing to address your concerns adequately. As a paying guest, you deserved better treatment and prompt resolution of the problems you encountered.
We want to express our extreme disappointment with our recent stay at your hotel. Upon arrival, we encountered severe issues, including rats in the room and an overall unclean environment. Due to these unacceptable conditions, we made the decision to leave immediately and did not spend a single night at your property.
We are formally requesting a refund for the entirety of our reservation as the experience was entirely unsatisfactory and rendered the accommodation uninhabitable.

Good breakfast and pool area. Comfort rooms of good size for a family and having a fridge helps a lot. A restaurant in place for dinner also helpful and good food for some nights.
the big pool is deep so not suitable for smaller kids. even adults needs to hang on the borders.
breakfast could be improved with a better coffee as you expect to have that in Italy, maybe also a better assortment of fruits, but again it’s good enough to start the day.

Beautiful location, very friendly and helpful staff, outstanding value for money.

the location was great as we were there to hike and there were lots of options close by.
we got a free upgrade to a balcony room facing the forest which was really nice. The food in the restaurant was really good. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming on our arrival.
The hotel decor is a bit dated and bland and needs a bit of a revamp. When we went got our meal there was a very large party there. at the same time and we were totally forgotten about. we waited around 45 mins for our order to be taken then waited well over an hour for our starters, and when it finally came, it all came together and out of sync, the starters were lukewarm so were probably sitting waiting to come out for a long time, and the waitress acted like this was normal that all starter and main courses should come out together which was a bit frustrating…BUT the food was delicious, and they were under a lot of pressure due to the large party.

The view to the mountains in the west, towards Aggius is good. There is a decent sized swimming pool. The room was large and had a comfortable bed.
The hotel is popular with touring bikers from around Europe (who were all friendly).
After breakfast finishes, at around 10/10:30, it is not possible to get a drink of coffee/soft drink or alcohol until the late afternoon. Similarly, there is no lunch or snack service between breakfast and dinner. Alternatively, you are faced with a long walk into town - advertised as "1km" but (measured on my phone) in reality a long uphill slog (at an elevation of 600m this is not bad, but the effects of altitude can be felt) for nearly 2.5km until the first cafe in Tempio P.
Dinner is popular, but the food while not bad, is not great either - think motorway service station level (in the UK, not Spain/France, where it is possible to eat well at such places). It's cheap and there is some choice, but after eating in restaurants that dot the countryside and local towns, we were disappointed.
The A/C worked OK, but the shower was small in the economy rooms; there was an unstocked fridge for you to put your drinks in.
There is an astroturf garden that sits outside the bar - this was pretty dirty: fag ends put out on the astroturf by guests that refused to use (un-emptied) ashtrays but not cleaned up the next day. Some drinks are served in plastic bottles The flower beds were unkempt. The place looked like it had had better days and, with a bit of work and a better chef and more cheerful staff, could be improved quite a bit.

Very friendly staff, very clean rooms, lovely atmosphere
No one on reception and doors locked at night

great value for money. a little treasure just outside the town of Tempio Pausania.
Some not very social people at the pool who were very loud and put their towels on the chairs just to disappear for most of the day. But that is something you cannot blame this wonderful hotel for (although: perhaps the staf could just remove towels from unoccupied seats….).

Everything was just perfect. Kind stuff, clean room and great brekfast. We even received voucher for welcome drink and little snack by the pool. We can recommend this place and if we could, we would stay longer!

the hotel has an excellent position, outside the city in nature and yet near the small town where there were many restaurants and cafes. there are also tourist attractions in the immediate vicinity. nature is fascinating, the hotel is located in greenery, which has a very calming effect. although it was unbearably hot elsewhere, we did not have to turn on the air conditioner in the room thanks to the freshness provided by the forest
the only thing we didn't like was that the pool closes at 7 p.m. and doesn't open until 10 a.m. It would be nice to be able to swim early in the morning to wake up and in the evening to relax

The hotel is great value for money and the premium for a room with a balcony is worth paying extra for.
Plenty of on site parking, and the staff made us feel very welcome.
Both al la carte and table d’hôtel menus are available and offer a wide range of food and local specialities.
The swimming pool is clean and in pleasant surroundings with plenty of seating around the pool.
In a quiet location, but within 10 minutes walking of the historic town, there are local nuraghe and opportunities for off track walking and cycling.
Staff were helpful and friendly with most speaking English. Michele went out of his way to help us when we had problems with our hire car.
Although only 45 minutes drive from Olbia airport, the hotels offer a rural experience and makes an ideal first or last stop before flying.

Location is super. Breakfast ok

Breakfast was awesome with large selection of food.
Rooms very comfy only the shower was really small and not really comfortable to use. We had a room on ground floor and could hear a little noise from a car park.
It felt like the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, there was a town with shops but nothing we could do during the day and it took a while to drive anywhere.

The location is very nice, with a beautiful landscape. The common space were also satisfactory and well furnished. The staff was also helpful, attend at our needs.
Nothing. I chosed a room with economic rate and I could not expect more for the prize.

Nice and quite area, nice refreshing pool and central to visit the hotspots of the northern part of the island. Very friendly and flexible staff.
However central to severall ''hotspots' like Alghero, Trintino, Castelsardo, Costa Smeralda. All trips are quite far away and require a strong stomach for children in the back of the car.

The hotel was clean and the location was very relaxing. We had dinner and the food was good. But one episode spoiled our stay.
Unfortunately the self-service coffee machine was out of order and we had to tell the waitress what coffee we wanted. She was very nice when we placed out first order, but when our friends joined us, and we ordered our second round of coffee she said (in Italian) "you guys have to decide what you want to drink, I can't run back and fort for you". We told her that we were sorry and to not bring it... she stormed off, didn't apologise and didn't bring it!

Very nice hotel. Salvatore was really kind

Good hotel for a stop over to visit the beautiful city of Tempio Pausana. We a very basic room but there are a few more comfortable rooms also, then a longer stay could be nice
The layout of the site was a bit confusing
