Una estancia agradable pero no a la altura de un 4 estrellas

El personal, el edificio y sus rincones

La habitacion al menos la mia en la tercera planta, muy amplia y camas comodas, sin embargo el resto de detalles desde la limpieza que no era mala pero tampoco excelente, como el aislamiento frente a los ruidos de la maquinaria de ascensor, y otros aspectos del mantenimiento general de la habitacion, fueron algo deficientes, no a la altura de un 4 estrellas.

Disappointing

Location is good .

Booking confirmed a double bed was available , was not an option on arrival . Booking confirmed a sea view via email , not delivered . Hotel stated it had parking but it was full fir the two days we were there and parking very difficult to get on the street . No electric kettle for tea and coffee in room . Fridge small and not cold

Ok, but will look at other properties in future

Location and historical, would have liked to more about the history but couldn’t find an information board about it.

Room was tired looking and someone had been smoking in it previously, light very poor

Good

It's a beautiful hotel and a good location for the old town. Nice bar and pool. Bar staff are very friendly and helpful.

We've stayed 3 times and each time is different, sometimes breakfast is included, sometimes parking and other times nothing but the price is always similar. Also we had parking included but weren't allowed in till we had checked in and the 15 minute waiting área was full leaving us nowhere to put the car legally while we checked in.

Good choice for an airport stay

We chose this hotel for a quick stay nearby the airport. And it did just that. 24 hours friendly reception, not noisy even though right at the highway. Room small and basic but ok for a short stay. Bathroom was new and nice.

Bed was quite hard to sleep on.

our 3rd time at this Hotel, great location with underground parking. Excellent buffet breakfast. wonderful ambience to the whole building.

getting into the shower is a little difficult as you have to step into the bath and it could be slippery.

A very bad experience!

Superior room was Allright

Front office/reception very bad. No service. Not a nice attitude to the client/customer. What you see is what you don’t get. Pictures of food on booking suggest that there is a restaurant. There isn’t! A no go!

Beautifully converted old monastery

Beautiful hallways and stairwells. Nice atmosphere. Classic room and bathroom, nice big bed, minibar, balcony with view of the pool/garden. Good breakfast, helpful staff. Near the train station.

Soundproofing could be better. Shower in bath is set too high.

I will be back!

Staff at hotel are accommodating, patient and helpful! Even called a cab for me to go to the airport!

WiFi was spotty. Courtyard will be beautiful after they finish renovations.

Comfortable hotel with welcoming staff.

The room was above our expectations as it had a separate living room area, with comfortable chairs and another TV. The building was full of character and the breakfast was plentiful with a wide choice. The parking int heir underground garage was extremely useful and safe.

A sense of the past in an intriguing building

Historic feel of the hotel with lovely reminders of the past use of the building. Superb breakfast with hot food options and wonderful cakes. It was lovely to be able to take time over breakfast in an unhurried atmosphere.

A little more sunshine in February would have been welcome.

hotel full of carácter/history, super comfy bed and pillows , lovely warm room ( we were there in January) good breakfast

only faults were not plug in bath to have a bath ( shower good but wanted a 🛀 … as I think because it was January/ off season cafeteria only had drinks or a sandwich 🥪 and we wanted to eat ..( had a long day and didn’t want to leave hotel.. but staff friendly and took sandwiches and drinks to room❤️👍🏻

Good stay overall

Bed is very comfy...walking distance to restaurants and local attractions and ferry to Cadiz.

interesting concept but the building is a bit old...didn't have coffe maker in the room.

A peaceful stay in a historic hotel with attentive and friendly staff

historic beautiful building, comfortable beds excellent breakfast. Welcoming and friendly staff on reception and at breakfast.

temperature control a little outdated as unable to cool our rooms. We understand the need for responsible efficient energy use but rooms were hot and stuffy. In fairness perhaps this was a “ one off”? We had to sleep with balcony doors open instead. ? photos of rooms not quite descriptive of what you think you’re booking. Not the staff’s fault as apparently there is only one photo type on Booking.com
