The hotel was very nice, directly on the beach. The staff was very friendly. Also the rooms and the food were perfect. Would love to come back again :)

This is the best place to stay in Sisi and in this part of Crete. The hotel is cozy and family-like, you feel like home there. Everything is clean and beautiful, room is very convenient, food is great. We stayed for a week and would love to stay for one more. There are two good pools, bar with nice cocktails. Once a week you can take part in Greek night for extra price – it is a great fun and is provided with a fantastic dinner. There is a good beach in 15 min walk from the hotel and it's worth a walk. Near the hotel there are supermarkets, car rentals, tavernas, souvenir shops. I highly recommend Costello as it is a place that will provide everything you want for a nice and calm vacation. Staff is helpful and very friendly. We will miss this place very much

Sea View, coffee machine, soft beds. Parking outside the front door. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
Resort has obviously ironed out all the kinks in the facility and it shows.

I just completed a one night stay at this property. Service is excellent! Everyone that works heres seems really happy & want to do anything they can to help you.
The restaurant is a real asset for the property.
Very comfortable rooms and the breakfast was great with a lot of variety. keep up the good work!

The location, the staff's kindness, the beauty inside the hotel (beautiful roads that lead to the scenery of the sea), and the views of the sea were some of the highlights.
Options of food (usually given the same/similar options in breakfast, dinner & supper). The room is so small (20m): open your door, there's a bed, bathroom, and balcony, that's it. WiFi doesn't connect, and cannot even call normally on WhatsApp.

Location perfect for exploring the locality. Room was clean and comfortable and the shower/bathroom really spacious and modern. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Pool area had plenty of loungers and bars served a good range of cocktails. All in a good value hotel for what was on offer.
If I stayed again I would not want a room overlooking the pool as we sometimes wanted to relax on the balcony in the evening which wasn’t possible with loud music, quizzes and karaoke going on. The good news was it did not go on too late. The balcony was very small and no privacy.

This is a clean hotel with very nice and polite staff. The breakfast is good and a great variety of different things to eat, like yoghurt, eggs, bread and pancakes.
The wifi is not good, it was very slow and I was not able to check-in. Another thing we didn't like was the smoking at the breakfast and at the pool. It's not nice to smell it as an non-smoker.

Breakfast was ok. They could change those beverage machines though with some more quality beverages.
WiFi is bad. Low bandwidth with random disconnects. Mattresses are too soft. Bed sheets have to be fixed to the Mattress all the time. The bathroom could get some more light. The shower had an extra hole drilled into the tiles for water drainage. The walls have absolutely no sound isolation. Still no electronic key for the doors(kind of annoying to have your key with room number in the pocket all the time if you are at the pool bar).

Sissi is a small village not far from Malia. The village per se is nice for a one maximum two nights, I wouldn’t recommend staying longer as it can get boring. The hotel is very close to the main attraction point (the harbor and a few streets with shops/restaurants) and 10 minutes from boufos beach (quite rocky). Breakfast is very rich but you won’t find a lot of local products. The design of the hotel is nice
-Wi-Fi had very poor coverage almost everywhere
- staff looked uninterested to solve issues and not helpful at all - the only one saving is the bartender at the main pool
-pool area very noisy, dirty and messy. No available sun beds unless you leave your towel in the middle of the night to save slots
-room cleaning service never cleaned the room properly. ex. a dirt mark on the bathroom floor remained for all the stay period
- we asked for the queen bed but we found ourselves with two single mattresses, one very stiff and hotel employees did nothing about it for two nights despite our continuous requests for fixing the bed or changing the room
- we were given a room on two floors with excuse that “it is an upgrade” an excuse they told to another customer right in front of me for not being able to meet the will of the client. I had severe knee pain and no attention was paid to my condition.
- in the entrance of the breakfast hall there is always a lady who insists to sell the spa services from the hotel, a bit pushy for my taste
- the food served in the pool area is not always fresh

When we finally got our room it had a very nice view. The staff were friendly. The place has a relaxed atmosphere and is conveniently sited for the village.
Arriving to be given a tale of a broken pipe and immediately shipped off to another hotel for 3 nights. Whilst the other hotel was nice it wasn't what we booked. The pipe was miraculously fixed by day 3 and we were moved back to a slightly superior room. Breakfast was poor quality, e.g. Tiny, hard, overbaked croissants. Although the hotel has a 'no towels on sunbeds rule' this was not enforced and sunbeds left empty for hours on end with towels being put out by guests seemingly in the middle of the night! We never got a chance to sunbathe by the main pool because of this.

The location is good. The wifi is about 4Mb/s. Food is quite good as well. Swimming pool. The rooms are clean.
View to the sea. Sometimes food at the dinner is good as in local restaurants (just don't expect too much and you'll be surprised two-three times in a week).
Sometimes wifi drops for 5-10mins.
Dinner. BE AWARE. You have to pay for drinks. Yes, dinner is included but this is a trick. So, add 2.5-18€ for each day of your stay. Or eat without water. I didn't try to bring my own, but generally that was unexpected.
They don't have an espresso machine. Not only for the breakfast, but even when you pay 2.5€ for a cup of cappuccino.
There is no transfer. Only taxi or bus from your travel agency. Taxi is about 45-60€ one way. Offers with price more than 60€ is a fraud. If you order it in the hotel, they just call a taxi a local driver and charge you 5-10€ for this service.
I had to ask to connect mattresses. Originally it was just two single beds that moved close. Mattress quality is low. The Cheapest option, probably.
After request, they put a big lining under bed linen so the bed became twin-sized and you don't feel Bonnell construction anymore.
People "reserve" places near the pool with their towels in the early morning, for the whole day. This is prohibited but staff do nothing
Hotel staff can't give you suggestions about the place like they never leave the hotel.
The restaurant manager is rude to the young waiters.

Close to the sea, next beach about 5 mins walk.
Every night 21.30 there starts some sort of embarrassing disco party or magical show, loud old school music doesn’t let you sleep until midnight. Horrible! The balcony door doesn’t close properly as there is a huge gap always open, your neighbors can just walk in. The hotel tries to be upper class but doesn’t get there, cheap food for buffet, loads of meat, only one plate of cheese. In the kid‘s pool there are lots of tiles missing, the sharp edges are dangerous. 7.30 in the morning people put their towels on the pool chairs for reservation, which are too less anyway for the amount of clients there. Rude person at the reception, mocking herself about the clients, very unprofessional. Rooms very small, either to a construction site or to the busy pool. Would not recommend going there, there are a lot better hotels nearby!

We loved everything. Exceptional personnel and hospitality. Our room had a sea view which made our stay extra special. The restaurant was delicious starting from breakfast to dinner. I am definitely coming back!!

Magnificent sea view from balcony.
Proximity to harbour , village and beach
Reception waved extra charge for staying till 6pm on day of departure as a gesture following issue with birds on balcony .
Bird droppings on the balcony due to pigeons nesting under the veranda roof .
Food only lukewarm in buffet at dinner time.
Flies around the fresh fruit at the breakfast and dinner. Shower door leaked. Some staff defensive when issues were brought to their attention.

The location was perfect, the hotel was spotlessly clean, the room was beautiful, such good value for money and I have to say one if the comfiest beds I have ever slept in. Breakfast was fab, so much to choose from. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay here again.
I enjoyed everything, the only down side was we couldn't check in until 15.00 and when you are only booked in for one night it's quite late when you have to check out by 11am.

The location is very good. There is a supermarket just across the road with many kind of products and food.
First of all I’ve paid for a executive room with sea view and a did not get it. I asked to change because I paid nearly €800 euros for a week and the staff said it was the right room.
In the room it was 2 sockets in the all room, one of them wasn’t working.
The breakfast was nothing special, everyday the same things.
The play area for kids it’s just a joke - everything very old, definitely this hotel it’s not family friendly - I would say for a couple it’s ok. I paid lots of money to have really bad experience.

Room service a little lax. Did not replenish cups for tea/coffee on day 2. Made up one bed and left the other one with the sheet folded at the bottom of the bed even though it was obvious we used the sheets on both beds [twin beds pushed together].

Superb breakfast & dinner.
