The location
Nobody there to meet us. No breakfasts available, had to walk to a cafe downtown. The toilet seat wasn't fixed, the shower worked but the head was falling down. The owner turned up in the morning when we were packing the car to leave. She was very pleasant but when I mentioned the issues she said she was selling up so didn't want to spend anymore on the property.

Pleasant accommodation in a good area to visit the town. A comfy room which was nice and quiet. Good parking.

Ann and Barney are really nice owners, this was my second visit to Ennislaire and I had decided to visit a second time after the warm welcome and hospitality the first time around. It was the same the second time around. The location is really close to Bangor town centre, with plenty of cafes, pubs and restaurants to go to. Ann was helpful with recommendations for where to go. Handy for public transport too, as Bangor bus and railway station are a short walk away. Which I took advantage of for a day in Belfast.
While I can't complain about the room, there was an awful smell from the bathroom and it could be traced to the shower waste pipe. It was off-putting at first, with the window open it wasn't so bad but it was always noticeable when you walked in. It put a bit of a dampener on the fact the room itself was fine and the bed nice and comfortable. I spoke to Ann and she said it had been a problem for a while, I hope it gets sorted as that was the only downside.

Ann was lovely, very welcoming. Gave us a little tour, when we arrived, and what was what.
I also left my charger at the property and Ann kindly posted it back to me, which I really appreciated.
Facilities were great.
Tea and coffee in the room, plug sockets, shower, etc
Beds were SO comfortable. Had a lovely night sleep.
Would stay again, was lovely for a couple of days.
We booked to see family and were slightly further out that we should have been, however that was our fault and none of the accommodation.
It was easy enough to get a taxi, and the taxi firm was so friendly and would reccomend.
