Great location. Plenty of parking.
Nice welcome at check in and was helped with taking my luggage to the room
Decent size room with a big bed.
Nice bathroom with small bath and two options of shower head. Good pressure and plenty of hot water.
Ate on site both nights as food was good and reasonably priced.
Breakfast very good.
Lack of lift to upper floors which also had stairs up and then down.

Location to the A14 was good and also within easy reach of the West Suffolk Hospital where my husband was.
Breakfast was ok but sausages were of poor quality. No bread available to toast at 8.30 am. There was no information in the room for time of breakfast.

BREAKFAST WAS NICE , ALTHOUGH WAITING FOR FRIED EGGS WAS ANNOYING.
THE WIFI WAS SLOW AT TIME , WITH TRAVELING FOR WORK THIS BECAME A PROBLEM.

Location and staff were very helpful
It was great no issues
2.5
Location was good to get into the town centre
Room was very cold and heating was minimal.
3.5
Comfortable bed in a quiet and spacious room. Interesting interior decor looking like a huge wood cabin. Kind people working there. Beautiful greenery around hotel eliminates noise from a busy road.
Sorry to say but dinner was not good at all.
4.0
Breakfast was OK, but sausage on Tuesday very dry and bacon quality poor, no egg on Thursday
Knives and Forks could have been cleaner
All else good
Evening meals not great

it was very easy to find, and in the centre of where we needed to be for our weekend plans.
the Staff were very friendly and approachable
quite a few stairs to different levels but other than that no problems
2.0
nice green setting and nice furniture in communal area
room was dirty, with lots of cons webs, and black mould and dirty bathroom tiles. 2/4 lights worked. our room wasn’t cleaned on our second day even though we left the door hanger saying “please make up our room”
4.0
Very clean room and helpful staff and very convenient location.
The only issue we really had was one of our party needed a gluten free menu and there wasn't a lot to choose from and so we chose to eat elsewhere. Would have preferred to eat at the hotel
4.0
Good clean hotel. Staff were helpful but rather over stretched in reception when I arrived. Good clean en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and shower over.
Room was comfortable and clean, and well equipped.
I was contacted promptly, to tell me that I had left something in the room.
Room lighting was abysmal, especially if you wish to read or work. No elevators, and the ground floor have 4 stairs to navigate. Very few power sockets at a convenient height - not sufficient for the modern age.
Check in at reception was delayed. A party of 10 people arrived just before me, and there was only one person on duty, and one self check in machine, which guests needed help with.

Close to what I needed and it's just a nice hotel to stay in

good location and good choice for a single night stay. breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly.
inconsiderate guests making loads of noise at 3.15 am. A reminder note in the corridor to think of others may help to keep the noise down.
2.0
Okay rooms, decent location and facilities were good.
The walls are paper thin, people were having room parties in the hotel awake until 4am screaming down the halls. The bed wasn’t a double, it was two single beds pushed together with a sheet over the top.

Accommodation was adequate and clean
5.0
Just every thing was perfect even to the nice warm smelling fresh room what a perfect touch on a cold day
Every thing was fine
1.5
The low rating was due to the ‘free internet’ which didn’t actually work - the signal was barely there and went again almost instantly. I told the desk about it and they said I was near the router and there was nothing they could do. It was just as bad on Sunday night when most of the guests had left. I think this is typical of a chain where nobody really cares. Also the room was far too hot even with the radiator off and the window open - probably the scaldingly hot towel rail in the bathroom and general heat from other rooms. Providing a fan is not the answer!! Who needs a fan in October?
3.0
No staff in reception or bar for significant periods.
Coffee in room not replenished.
Water pressure in shower very low..
