Breakfast was fine. Continental and English. Good quality produce.
Location is good with views of the Dee estuary from the outside balcony. Heaters at each table on the balcony keeps the evening chill away.
Liked everything.

Comfortable clean basic rooms with good quality linens and bathroom toiletries. Staff very helpful good breakfast and service. Nice busy vibe in the bar area. Good location.
Our room was above the kitchens and next door to the very loud extractor fan which although wasn’t on from 10pm came on just before 8am. Vibrations through the bathroom floor.

Great place to stay on a recent visit to Royal Liverpool Golf. The location is lovely,.Parkgate being an Historic Conservation area. Our room was well decorated , quiet and spotlessly clean .All the Staff were very friendly and efficient . Nothing was too much trouble. We booked bed & breakfast but ate at the pub every night and the food was very good. The heated terrace is a great extra feature overlooking the marsh area and towards Wales.. I Would highly recommend this hotel..

Very friendly, helpful and willing staff and good and generous breakfast. Comfortable double bed - felt like it had a topper on the mattress. Lovely big shower with two different sized heads - husband likes the big drench head, I prefer the lower one ;). Pleasant location and the outside deck would probably be very popular in warmer weather. Clearly popular.
After booking, an email (to facilitate check in) asked if we had any special requests - I responded that a quiet room with a nice view would be lovely. Had to laugh when opening the door, as the small room had one net-curtained window that looked straight into another window across the service road and a second window that was glazed! However, this was their most basic and I think only the very few more expensive front rooms have a view. The room was a little over warm - hot pipe down one wall. A desk fan and portable electric radiator were available to use if needed. I think it would be very stuffy during warm summer weather. Absurdly, there were no bedside cabinets or anywhere to put anything within reach of the bed. I mentioned this when leaving and was thanked and promised that they'd look into it. We had booked for two nights, so I probably should have mentioned this after the first night and they might have found us one (or two) before our second night. The toilet seat was broken, but, after telling them, it was quickly replaced whilst we were out during the day. Paintwork could have done with some touching up in places, but generally clean. No wardrobe - just a free standing hanging rail and a single drawer beneath the luggage unit - fine for a very short stay.

We had a small, but clean and well appointed room. The bar/restaurant area is very welcoming, and dinner menu wide ranging and well cooked, although the breakfast menu is a bit limited. There are very pleasant outside areas with heating on the upper level. Staff very good. On site parking included
More choice at breakfast

Parking was a little chaotic but it was rather busy and for good reason.

It was amazing stay. The hotel and the pub were so clean. The staff was more than perfect. Our room was really clean, the mattress was the most comfortable one that we had in hotel ever. The food was so delicious and the breakfast was included at the price. Highly recommend that place.

It’s in a beautiful location. The hotel has recently been refurbished to a very high standard & was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent.

A marvellous location! Clearly a lot of time and money has recently gone into upgrades. A lovely place to stay!
Breakfast was good. Dinner was also good. Good wine list too.
Friendly staff.
Recommended.
Our room at the front of the inn was a little noisy especially on the weekend, however the view was great.
