Location was handy , just off the motorway. The breakfast was pretty good and plenty of it ,pity about the plate size.
The menu could have been better . Ther wasn't much of a choice in my eyes for evening meals, also felt it was a bit pricey for what you got.
More time could be spent on maintenance . There was condensation on the windows in the morning, signs of mould on the stairway ceiling. Three identical rooms booked but 3 different things in the room. One room had a fridge and a sofa, another room had a sofa and the third didn't have either. Confused to say yhe least same price but different things in each.

I've called the hotel 3 times since staying asking for property I left in the room & how could I complain. No one has called me back, I'm worried my property will go missing! We only stayed the one night out of two because of the poor cleanliness of the room, the noise from people up & down the corridor all night & how dated it was considering the write up of it. We booked because it had a swimming pool but we both never used it based on the dirty room, no doubt the pool would have been just as poor. So lots to complain. Very expensive & not value for money in the slightest. I'd like to know how you go about complaining, getting my property back I accidentally left and getting at least a partial if not full refund based on all of this. As I say we didn't even stay the second night. It ruined our wedding anniversary weekend away.
As above

The staff were very helpful, and kind and attentive - particularly the lady with blonde hair who checked me in on Friday evening on 3rd May - and the staff at breakfast on Sat and Sun morning were so helpful and provided such good service.
The first room they put me in was very unpleasant - the second floor was stuffy and hot and the windows steamy, the room window wouldn't open and was also covered with mold/ dirt around the edges, the carpet wasn't clean and the curtains were stained - I asked to change the room ( the next one was similar but the window opened next to the M6 ) and there didn't seem to be aircon so I asked to change room again - the lady was very nice and finally 3rd time lucky, the room was downstairs and it was lovely, clean and had heating/ aircon / new windows (not moldy) and quiet area.

We stay here often and love location and normally facilities..love the hotel
To be brutally honest found one member staff not that helpful felt she was not bothered we tried to smile at her but nothing . Also I’m allergic to dog hair and was mortified to see dogs in rooms and we were 2 doors away counted 5 dogs with different peale not nice ..wanted to tell staff but felt they would have been REALLY!!! So was awkward we had room 142 it was really nice but noisy next door etc .

Very poor hotel.
Chosen for location, which was good.
Hotel breakfast was appalling, facilities were very poor, staff uninterested.
Food was of a very low standard- both lunch and breakfast. Exceptionally expensive too for a very poor service.

We got a free upgrade to a suite, which was amazing. Thank you 😀

The location is good and the rooms are reasonably comfortable.
One staff member on reception. A younger girl, probably the rudest and most obnoxious person I have ever met.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and use of leisure facilities was a great bonus. We had a dog friendly room with a cute doggy welcome pack on arrival. I ended up booking an extra day.
My only complaint would be the heat in the room as no air conditioning and the towel rail stays on permanently. Although the staff supplied a fan on request.

Breakfast was good.

The location was very close to the Haydock and was very pretty
Paying for the best room there and then the air-conditioning not working or the extra facilities that i paid for either. The fact that literally noone could assist us

Front of house staff were excellent. The location if attending Haydock Racecourse is perfect. Rooms were clean.
The very poor service provided by the young staff at the bar and at breakfast.

the hotel is beautiful staff are really helpful and pleasant
a member of staff in the restaraunt put his hand in the bread and loaded the breakfast it really is a bad way to load the empty box the day before the young lady did it the right way I would have though a lesson had been learned with covid

I was chosen as Guest of the Day! Was given a room upgrade which was gorgeous and huge, given a discount for dinner and a free breakfast
If I hadn’t of been chosen for Guest of the Day, I would have had to pay for parking in the hotel’s own car park for the evening. I am unsure as to when hotels started to charge for parking onsite but it is not acceptable. Guests pay enough to stay at the hotel as it is, what with food and use of any facilities they have

The hotel and staff were amazing, very friendly and nothing was a trouble, excellent service through out our stay, our suit was amazing spacious and clean, I'd highly recommend also had a little decking area wich was perfect to sit out and enjoy also while relaxing. I carnt fault the hotel, nor the suite we has, was perfect, even the room service, as he orded got delivered and Brought into our lounging area. Was perfect from start to finish, beating seating areas in side and out also. Couldn't fault the hotel, the staff every one was helpful and very welcoming. Should be a 5 star hotel.. exceptional quality.
Wasn't anything I didn't like about the hotel was all perfect 👌 only down fall was jacuzzi bath didn't work, or the TV in the bathroom, but apart from that it was just amazing.

Staff was very helpful, my partner needed scissors for her dress fewhours before check in, was sorted instantly, we needed ice for our own wine, sorted with no fuss, I needed my racing tickets printed, sorted no fuss, staff were excellent!
Breakfast could have been a bit better, I did not like been given a child's plate to eat of, insinuating that if I was given a bigger plate I'd eat too much, well that's how it felt. 😋, hash browns were bad ,
