Lovely welcome to the castle, log fire burning in the hall, really felt the atmosphere. Had a really nice meal in the restaurant and really friendly staff thtoughout but unfortunately had to leave without trying the breakfast. Nice White Company toiletries. Only stayed for one night as travelling but would have enjoyed staying for longer.
No heating on in the room or bathroom even though there was a heated towel rail, although there was an electric heater which we used in the bedroom. Fortunately it wasn't too cold but we would have probably raised the issue if it had been. TV signal poor in the bedroom, but what can you expect in an old castle with thick walls 🤔

Beautiful old building in a delightful setting
Everything was fine

Our room was exceptional and the room service was fantastic.
The facilities were not great - the shower did not have nearly enough pressure, and the products were not great quality.

Car parking was spacious and easy to get too, all staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was huge and clean. Food was incredible. Loved our stay. Didn't know much about the castle or its history until we stopped and enjoyed learning about it. Tour guide at the the night time (Rodney) was very knowledgeable and entertaining lovely bloke would stop again.
Not much in the village nearby but not hotel related.

Friendly staff, rooms are great, we were upgraded and the room was spacious and amazing 🤩
We have ordered 5 steaks for dinner with friends and all were very tough. We informed the staff but we didnt get any response.

Very friendly and helpful staff upon check-in. The suite we stayed in was enormous compared to the pictures online. We were very impressed.
There was a fairly limited menu at the restaurant. It would have been better if the menu included food options from the bar menu.

Amazing property full of history & atmosphere. Very user friendly for all ages and so good that dogs are welcome👍

Our bed was great, evening meal was delicious. The night manager was very entertaining and we were glad to meet him.
The size of the meal was a little less than i would have liked. They would not burn a little wood in the fire at reception to make it cossy. Breakfast was confusing

The size of our apartment
No door to the bathroom in the master bedroom and no lock on the door to the bedroom, there should either be a door to the bathroom or a lock to the bedroom

Lovely old castle - still authentic
Reception staff lovely
Bar food was great
Water pressure was poor - shower was terrible
Room was full of cobwebs
Breakfast was poor

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, we booked the hotel ghost tour and the host was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the hotel and the families who had owned it over the years, I can thoroughly recommend booking the dungeon for that intimate dinning experience, wonderful.
After the tour our ihost/guide nvited us through into bar for a short whiskey lesson, this certainly didn't disappoint, top marks to the hotel, the staff and a personal thank you to our ghost and whiskey host, would highly recommend to all travellers looking for something a tad different to the norm 😁😁😁😁
I cannot think of a single thing to complain about whilst we were there

Hotel does have character & history, the staff are friendly & helpful
TV signal in room almost non-existent, dining room a little depressing, food about pub standard (but priced higher).

We had a fantastic stay, staff were so friendly and professional, made us very welcome. Room was excellent, slept like a log in very comfortable bed, view from window superb. Food was fantastic, the venison dish was top class.
Nothing really, only thing would be it was up a hill, due to disability couldn't go a walk.

My husband wanted to stay in a castle while in Scotland and this worked out great! We had a wonderful room that was spacious with comfortable furnishings. I really enjoyed the breakfast too.

staff are friendly and well trained, it’s a well run establishment. interesting building with history, country house/castle but not grand and imposing. Food was very good, well prepared and tasty with excellent range of choices
as a solo woman traveller I don’t like to feel a bit lost in rambling corridors and the stairwell. perhaps better signage? it’s not very difficult to find your room but it’s not great.

Very warm welcome fire was on in reception after a very long drive and wet day.
staff were fantastic dinner was delicious
I was aloud to see the grand Hall by myself made to feel very welcome can't wait to go back.

The reception and central stairs were so beautiful. Outside castle structure also appreciated for the age/history. It was convenient to have bar and restaurant at hotel so we didn’t have to drive at night. Room itself was nice.
I was disappointed that the bar and restaurant were so “modern”. I chose to stay in castle accommodation thinking it would offer a more historical feeling in decor /surroundings. The brightness, white walls, modern art, were all a let down.

We loved the authentic feeling of being in a castle. The library room and the bar room were amazing! The staff was unbelievably courteous as well! The dungeon restaurant was such a unique place to share time with our friends.
We would’ve liked to had prior knowledge of the transportation to the lodge. It was completely fine, but we were just confused about how it was supposed to work. We got confused about how to get there.

We had such a marvelous stay at Tulloch Castle! Our room#10 was comfortable, clean and we had a four-poster bed with no canopy, but it was still fit for a Queen/King. We received a warm welcome from receptionist. We had dinner in the
restaurant which was delicious. I had fish and chips and my husband steak ale pie. Staff were all friendly, attentive and polite. About 10 o'clock Rodney took us on a ghost tour of the castle, it was great.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Tulloch Castle. The staff was great! Everyone is friendly and inviting. The ghost/history tour with Rodney was so interesting and fun. It was wonderful to see someone so passionate about the area and history. Also incredible knowledge of Whiskey. The room was comfortable and met all of our needs. We had two breakfasts and one dinner there and the food was good, no complaints. This is no way a knock be realize this is a very old building and is not perfectly updated. That really is part of the charm I was looking for and enjoyed. We would definitely go back!
