Very beautiful and tranquil accommodation.

The room was very neat and tidy. We had a lake view room which was very beautiful.

Our shower didn't work properly. The handle keep falling back to the off position and when it did stay on the water only came out hot.

Hotel is pretty basic and really dated, good for overnight stay.

Location is great, central to the scenic spots. Near eateries and supermarket.

Bed and pillows too soft to our liking.

Generally, very pleased.

Great location and the Godley is an impressive setup, but slightly disappointed that our room view was blocked considering we booked well over 6 months in advance. Fantastic village and eateries.

Being upstairs when we had no view. All else was great.

Bad facilities, old n torn place

Location. Next to the lake.

Dirty, dusty, paint fade n torn. Mattress spoiled as sank when lying down. No proper lighting too. My room facing main road..noisy. Even it's next to lake Tepako but basic facilities should b properly provide.

it was just ok for a night

easy to find

the heather system a bit old school it take awhile to heat and they could provide more of shower gel and shampoo/ they could install the big one with the pump for more convenient/ enough for two and next guest

property needs a makeover. Very old fashion design, dated furniture and decor. We were look for a light switch for am ambient light in the bedroom for 15 min. Found a switch on the...bedside table. very unusual place. room is dark.

Wet weather with low cloud so not as good as if there had been clear skies!

Location, view stunning, room reasonable size but very low level lighting was a problem. Had to use a torch to find things!!

Good location and comfort

The location is superb. Very close to Lake Tekapo and Church of Good Sheperd. Quite close to super market like Four Square.

It look a bit old and the restroom also look not quite clean (as it quite old).

Excellent location with easy parking. Checked in after reception had closed but keys were left for us. The room was tired looking and quite basic but the view was great.

standard room very very run down, unit with shower curtain for wheelchair, water all over bathroom floor very poorly designed.

Location, Location, Location

Great location, nice views, awesome well spoken staff

The beds were not very comfortable, unfortunately ended the one and only night there with our neck and backs all messed up.

The location was great.

Very noisy, we could hear the people in all the units next to us & above us until very late, so it felt like the walls were thin - one unit was still talking & banging about loudly until after midnight. The bed & pillows were very uncomfortable.

Very dated which the cheap price compensates for but the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in

location was amazing, staff were polite and very helpful

The bedrooms were tired and in need of refurbishment. the reception and restaurant area was refurbished to a high standard but the bedroom accommodation was quite disappointing

reception was awesome lady so friendly and helpful with information

the view was amazing

although clean it smelt stale. the shower was either to hot or cold with no pressure but get the right temperature then no pressure. no power points no hair dryer no plates. the fridges ice box had a ice tray that was frozen to the box under an inch of ice

if I’m being picky- I had to have the thick blackout curtains shut when in the room for privacy, would have been nice to have some netting to let light in and give some privacy.

Needs a make over

The view

Shower not working properly, water was either extremely hot or extremely cold. Could hear the other guests through the walls. Wifi was poor. Room could do with a make over. Hooks in the bathroom that aren't broken to hang towels.

Lovely location but the rooms are a little disappointing

View was great, staff was great and repaired a tv fault quickly. Heating was good.

There was no mention of only stairs up to the first floor level of rooms. We wouldn’t have asked for a top floor if we had known there was no lift. Rooms were small and the lighting was very dim.

very dated and old furnishings and bed. the bathroom and bedroom were dark and grubby. the non slip mat in the bath/shower was very old.

Great Place to stay at Lake Tekapo

Ease of checking in, room comfortable as were the beds. Also walking distance to the best Pumpkin & Orange Soup at Stones Restaurant. Parking was good also. Very handy place to stay.
