Es pintoresco, ideal para desconectar, cerca de todo con muchos servicios a mano
Los bajantes del baño olían muy mal

Breakfast & Hotel Restaurant for Dinner were very good.
Very disappointed with the apartment which we had upgraded to. To begin with there was dog dirt immediately outside the door when we arrived & no one cleared it up. The whole apartment was very tired & both the bedroom & bathroom were downstairs in what felt like a dungeon. The roof terrace contained two sun loungers one of which was broken & both had cushions which did not fit & were very dirty. Sun umbrella did not work either.

position in this amazing town.
superb restaurant and great staff.
room was basic.
shower average and very thin ceiling.. you could hear everything and right next to reception desk.
it is however 2 star with a 4 star pricing .

Great location. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. The roof top bar and staff were perfect. The Restaurant was excellent (both food and staff). Breakfast was served in the same location but was not quite as good. The character and style of the hotel made it a memorable place to stay.
We were uncomfortable in our room as there was no way to control the wall mounted heater. The room lacked storage space (some drawers needed) and could really benefit from some hooks to hang towels or coats. One ot two additional sockets would be useful. Just some relatively minor practical adjustments could make a big difference.

The most stunning hotel I’ve ever stayed in. we had the Africa Suite which looked amazing in the photos. In reality, it excelled the photos, stunning suite, so comfortable, so beautifully designed and with views which are outstanding.

The bed was large & comfortable. The hotel location was excellent and the staff were great. The terraces and roof bar were brilliant. The restaurant was outstanding as well.
Access to bathroom from bedroom was a little awkward as was the access to the room (steep stairs) but it's an old, quirky hotel so that wasn't really an issue. However, there was a lot of noise from above (loud footsteps, heavy objects being moved) both mornings which was irritating.
3.5
The idea of laid back local 'style' being combined with modern ideas.
The idea that 'charm' and style can overcome any problem is clearly something that the owners of the hotel wish to promote but the reality is somewhat different. Rooms which can only be reached via vertical stair cases; overhead beams and storage alcoves where accidents can not easily be avoided plus bathrooms which can only be reached by crossing an intervening hallway can hardly be called 'ensuite'. Additionally, a request in advance for a quiet room was clearly ignored as our accomodation was at the front of the hotel, overlooking the main square, where commercial dustbins were emptied between 2 and 2.30 in the morning. (We live in Spain and are familiar with the management of dustbin collections but nothing was said to us in advance of the likely volume and duration of noise, virtually under our bedroom window.) As to value for money.......although the choice of breakfast is wide ranging, one has to ask how a two star rated establishment can charge 150 euros a night for the room previously described. We wanted to like the hotel but were left feeling that it had oversold itself on several levels. (no pun intended)

Beautiful building with character, history and atmosphere in a great location. Great adjoining restaurant, terrace and hamam too.
Nothing really. We had the attic room which might be a struggle for those with mobility issues but it was fine for us.

Amazing hotel

lovely hotel with a Moorish theme and fabulous restaurant and food
unloading luggage there is a parking spot outside hotel with the disabled sign covered by a tree and not obvious and beyond a few bays for unloading we were gone 15 mins to check in and unload and find where hotel parking was and got a 200 euro ticket. 100euro if paid quickly. thought this was sharp practice by the council and maybe hotel staff could make guests aware that the one space is for disabled and you will get a ticket and to use the bays next to it. they were full with lorries when we arrived.

A charming boutique hotel in the Moroccan/Andalusian style.Elegant rooms and a fabulous restaurant - one of the best. Breakfast and dinner were amazing. Gorgeous roof top bar with amazing views Lovely central location. Truly 10/10.
Our rooms were on the ground floor next to a little lane leading from the restaurant. It was a little noisy on our first night as people left the restaurant but otherwise I couldn’t fault it.

its a charming hotel with lots of interesting decorative Moorish features , quite quirky. lovely patio restaurant and the food is delicious but not cheap.

The Hotel Is in a perfect position in Vejer de la Frontera with very comfortable, clean rooms. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and the bar on the roof terrace is a lovely setting to see the surrounding countryside and a pre and post dinner drink. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming and we had a delicious meal in the Hotel restaurant. we will definitely visit again.
4.5
The views, food, spectacular setting & property
lighting quality iffy and air con squeaky.
4.5
Excellent location a stone’s throw from the Plaza de Espana and it’s bars and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely restaurant and excellent food, particularly the breakfast. Wonderful views from our room.
Very little to say here - just minor things, eg it would have been nice to have tissues in the room and for the water bottle to be replenished daily.
Not a complaint but just a note for potential guests not good with steps. The hotel has a lot of them! It’s all part of its charm and history but just to make less mobile guests aware.
