Schöne Aussicht

Die wunderbare Lage mit Blick über Vejer und bis zu Meer. Wir hatten auf der Terrasse Anfang April den ganzen Tag Sonne.

Sehr steile Treppe nach oben zur Küche, wo auch das Zusatzbett steht. Man kommt nur unter "Lebensgefahr" nachts runter. Es gab praktisch so gut wie keine Küchenausstattung. Wir sind dort krank geworden und waren darauf angewiesen. 1 Topf, 2 Gabeln, 2 Messer.... Die Oberbetten waren nicht frisch überzogen worden. Wie vor 100 Jahren war zwischen Zudecke und dem Körper nur ein lockeres Laken. Etwas ekelhaft. Man hat sich in den Betten nicht wirklich wohl gefühlt. Bequem waren die Betten schon.

What an amazing place!! Got conquered by its design, repeated stay for their breakfast

The place is amazing! It's a cozy old school house with a cute reno keeping the original essence. It has super cute patios covered in flowers and it's super nice to have breakfast in that garden. By the way, magic word: breakfast - how crazy is everything that they provide!! Everything is home made: the plumcakes are delish, jams with original flavors and so good all of them, local products from the area, freshly squeezed orange juice and eggs at your choice just cooked for you upon request. Everything is amazing and offering a variety of excellent products! Also, they change breakfast every single day, offering different products and flavors. Very detailed oriented, loved the place and def will be back again

Traditional styled rooms nicely decorated. Pretty vine covered central courtyard where a home made breakfast is served. Relaxing place to stay with a great rooftop terrace affording views of the church and village below

The shower head needed replacing which made floor wet, other than that everything was perfect

Beautiful apartments in a beautiful location.

Loved everything! Beautiful place and rooms with terrace overlooking incredible view of Vejer. Perfect central location. Breakfast was great! Variety of delicacies, many homemade. Jesus and Mercedes were wonderful, so welcoming and friendly.

Fabulous stay in picturesque setting with top class hospitality

Fabulous 4 night stay in a lovely old andalucian house turned into cute and picturesque individual apts situated around lovely, shady interior patios. Hosts Jesus and Merche make this a fantastic choice with their wonderful breakfast with all home made products and first class hospitality. We will be back!!

Would have liked larger shower towels but just a suggestion.

Lovely, pretty hotel with excellent views over the town. Good central position, with plenty of excellent restaurants within walking distance. Comfortable quirky rooms, with everything we needed. Hotel manager really friendly and approachable. Plenty of choice for breakfast .

Steps not great for my arthritic knees, but we knew well in advance that it would be a little difficult! Wanted to stay there so well worth the effort!

This is a charming place! Great homemade real breakfasts and wonderfully helpful owners and staff! Quiet with a fabulous view from the terrace. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Helpful and charming hosts. Lots of quirky details in room such as hand painted curtains, railings. Comfy beds. Fabulous breakfast with all homemade extras. Great attention to details e.g. the carved wooden hand rails. Balcony overlooking town

Everything! The character, the view, the breakfast and choice of seating areas where to eat it - beautiful courtyard or amazing terrace. We have a holiday home in Alcala and only stayed one night as visiting friends however we intend to return to treat ourselves to a night out in Vejer and special stay at El Cobijo.

Honestly there was nothing not to like!

Stunning views. Jesus and Mercedes are exceptionally kind and hospitable. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We really enjoyed our short stay of just one night.

Worth every penny, AMAZING

The owners were extremely welcoming. Best owners of all our trip! They gave us best advices and tips for visiting the city and the nearby cities/areas. They serve every morning an exquisite breakfast that changes everyday and makes you try all the flavours of the region. The house is a traditional building of the area and has an amazing Terrace with an astonishing view on all the city. You can relax there with a glass of wine.

Difficult to find something that I didn’t like. Maybe the parking is a struggle since you cannot enter the area with the car and you need to walk around 10 minutes. But the owners sent us an email with so many info about how to reach the building, where to park, where to stop to avoid carrying luggages, and every info you’ll need to make your stay super comfortable

Many thanks to Mercedes and Jesus who were exceptional hosts. The breakfasts were amazing and included Mercedes home made jam and cake. The views from my patio spectacular. Jesus helped me with my suitcases and was always helpful

Super friendly and accommodating staff. Lovely apartment with a private terrace and stunning views in a quiet location. Fabulous and varied breakfast with many home made and local products - as a Coeliac, I was incredibly gratefull and impressed with their care taken to ensure I could eat everything - thank you again.

A lovely place to stay that exceeded our expectations for the price.

Everything was fantastic, the location, the views from the terrace, the apartment, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was outstanding and it was just a lovely place to stay. If we ever come back to Vejer we will certainly stay here again.
