A very comfortable hotel in beautiful surroundings.
We are a group of cyclists and there was an excellent secure facility for our bicycles overnight.
We all enjoyed the thermal pool.
Nothing to dislike.

All good!
4.5
We initially chose this hotel as a stopover location but we will surely return to take advantage of the facilities. The hot springs pool looked delightful as did the multitude of spa and massage options that are on offer. The lovely little town of Caldes has amazing Roman baths and an interesting museum, all within a few minutes walk from the hotel. There are many beautiful walks and bicycle paths in nature very close by. Really enjoyed the idea of the bathrobe culture as people just lounged around in their robes, going from the pool to breakfast and drinks on the terrace, totally relaxed.
Nothing, all positive.
3.0
The original period building, the beautiful gardens and the thermal pool
for such a beautiful old building the lobby and restaurant area are so poor. the restaurant is like a cheap cafeteria. food is so so, breakfast underwhelming. the old rooms ( up to 118) are so shabby and outdated but the new rooms are lovely. this could be a superb hotel if all the rooms were renovated and the restaurant area styled in a more plush way as this lovely old building deserves
3.5
Quiet rooms with great light and terrace, we had view to the back of the building
Deceiving photos in Booking!!
Advice: if you want to book this hotel call them first and make sure you’re paying for a proper room, not a room from the old building (50s style with old decor and poor facilities)

Bar area was pleasant.
No kettle / hot drink making facilities in bedroom.
No water (bottled) in room.
Breakfast was ok but no fresh orange juice or fresh coffee. (Just machine).
Bed was uncomfortable
Room was very dated
Chairs on balcony screetched
Strange layout of room, chairs at end of bed is strange.
Not enough blankets- was cold
Over priced for the standard provided

the bedroom was incredible!
3.5
good price. relatively close to Girona airport
No air conditioning in room
4.0
Very smart spa hotel. Fridge in room.
Very helpful reception staff. Bikes stored behind reception.
Wine list and bar prices very good value
For a hotel which portrays itself as upmarket restaurant was more like a cafe. With main courses ok but desserts poor. Coffee had to be obtained in another part of the hotel.
Shower cubicle was not clean. Floor tiles when rubbed lightly with toothbrush really changed colour. As did wall grouting. This was was the only cleanliness issue we have had in a bike trip lasting 32 days.
3.5
The swimming pool, the setting, the breakfast
The rooms were dated and needed upgrading for the price paid. The staff were friendly, the food was good
4.0
location and spa
I had breakfast included but I had to check out earlier than 07:45, I was given a picnic bag but I suggested the hotel to offer free hot beverages for travellers who miss the chance of staying for breakfast

The outside of the hotel looks lovely as did the reception area. Breakfast was excellent. The free parking was a draw. Staff were very friendly.
Sadly the bedroom was very tired and did not match with the main hotel building. We knew the room hadn't been renovated but it was still a disappointment. It was very hot in the room - outside was 23 degrees and the radiators were on full blast. There is no soundproofing which creates problems if you are a light sleeper. There wasn't anywhere outside the hotel open for dinner. We decided not to eat in the hotel restaurant and bought salads from the nearby supermarket instead which we ate in our room.

The Hotel's Main facilities such as restaurant, entrance spa bath were lovely and well maintained.
Once you leave the lobby, the hotel seems to diminish in its total overall care - it could be that I booked on what appears could be the 'cheaper' side of the hotel but for the rate I paid and the pictures displayed on booking I was expecting a bit more. But it was still pleasant albeit the rooms are in need of a bit of TLC.
4.0
Quaint little hotel with an amazing thermal pool. The massages were also excellent and we loved our big room with the terrace. Great car parking
No tea and coffee in the room

We have stayed here many times, and always enjoy it. Staff are always kind and helpful, and the hotel/town ideal for a quiet break away from the city.
Nothing to complain about.
4.5
I love this hotel! It's fantastic to recharge and unwind. Family run, personable and with a lot of charm. A real treasure.
I always book a standard room and while I love their size and ambience perhaps they are in need of a little TLC.
4.5
Location, terrace, pool area and staff
The rooms in the unrenovated wing of the hotel are very basic and old fashioned.
3.5

I liked everything
4.0
